Tales of the Abyss
Question from IamSuperMagic
Asked: 11 months agoMost games like this sort of have like the ultimate weapon or something along those lines (like the ultima weapon in FF). What would that weapon(s) be for this game, if they exist? I was thinking the catalyst weapons but I got a few and they seem really weak. Any info on these woud be cool too. Thanks!

Soul Crush (Arena): Highest fixed attack
Nebilim (Catalyst): Highest potential damage
Guy:
Jewel of Gardios (Side Quest): To use the Brilliant Overload mystic arte
Shakunage (Arena): Highest fixed attack
Lost Celesti (Catalyst): Highest potential damage
Tear:
Blue Crystal rod (Arena): Highest fixed Fonic attack
Unicorn Horn (Catalyst): Highest potential damage
Anise:
Grand Cross (Arena): Highest fixed Attack
Heart of Chaos (Catalyst): Highest potential damage
Jade:
Dunamis (Arena): Highest fixed Attack
Fonic Lance (Eldrant Chest): Highest fixed Fonic Attack
Blood Pain (Catalyst): Highest potential damage
Natalia:
Elven Bow (Din's shop): To use the Noble Roar mystic arte

That's about it.

statusBeat the advanced single coliseum battles with each character will get them their strongest weapons. The catalyst weapons can do more damage once you activate them and if that character has enough kills.
