Question from ds84182

How do you start races with boost?

I play selection 2 and on every race the green bike has a boosted start. Is there a way to do boost like in Mario Kart you hold the A button.

There is no starting boost in the game but there is a turbo button just hold down the b button and you'll go faster but make sure you don't over heat and the CPUs don't count as racers they just count as obstacles the thing that does count is you race time not what place you get in against the CPUs.

I don't think so.

What you can do is hold down the B button instead of A when starting the race. B is the normal boost button that you can use throughout the entirety of the race as long as your bike doesn't overheat.

That's just the CPU cheating.

Like the others have said, there is no starting boost, but you can use the turbo acceleration if you wish. Be sure that you run over the pads along the sides of the road (they look like >>), as they cool down the engine.
