    ===================
    Hi all, be welcome.

My name is SSJDennis and am a great fan of FE games. So when this game was
announced for Europe, I decided to buy the 3DS, like it did before, in
purchasing a Wii. In the mean time, the game was released in the US and many
topics on the GameFAQs board appeared about pairings.

I too, was greatly interested in the most optimal of them. Why? Because some
players want their units as perfect as they can be. Needed? Not really.
Especially in-game this isn't needed. But why do it then? Because it is fun!

Also, when playing the harder DLC this might come in handy. If you don't have
any DLC, that is still fine. This set-up will also help you out in saving time
in grinding, as it will tell you who to level in what class.

At first I wanted to post this on the message boards, but I figured with a
FAQ everyone can find it forever. It is also much easier to update.

So let’s start and keep in mind, I'm open for feedback, just send me an e-mail
and I will consider your suggestions. You will receive full credit.

    = 03 - PAIRINGS - 03 =
    ======================
Before going into detail, I figured I just mention the pairings I suggest
    here.

Chrom with Sumia (or Olivia for a non-Sorcerer build with Luna)
Lissa with Ricken (or Libra, or Henry for Sorcerer build)
Olivia with Libra (or Henry, IF you have access to DLC)
Maribelle with Lon'Qu (or Avatar/Robin, which is much better)
Sully with Donnel (or Vaike, or Kellam)
Sumia with Chrom (or Henry, for Sorcerer without Armsthrift)
Cordelia with Stahl (or Lon'Qu, for the fastest Sorcerer)
Cherche with Frederick (or Kellam, but will have less speed)
Panne with Kellam (or Stahl, for more speed)
Miriel with Gregor (or Avatar/Robin, which is much better)
Tharja with Gaius (or Donnel, or Gregor, for Armsthrift)
Nowi with Vaike (or Gaius, or Donnel for Galeforce)

male Avatar with Maribelle (or Tharja for super Sorcerer Noire)
female Avatar with Brady (fastest Sorcerer with grandfather Lon'Qu)

Some characters can switch, but this is my optimal set up. Remember, I want to
have as MUCH S-supports as possible. Additional +10% Dual Strike is superb and
in my opinion TO GOOD to pass up.

Also, IF only one child can learn Galeforce, it will be paired with someone
that will ONLY support it. So no Luna/Pavise/Aegis on them, also I won't
    consider DLC.

I will mention possible DLC skills, but the pairings aren't considering them.

Best DLC skills are Aggressor (male only), Rally Heart (rally bots),
All Stats+2 and Limit Break (best skill for everyone).

    ====================================
    = 04 - CHILDREN OF THE FUTURE - 04 =
    ====================================
Before we start, one more thing. I've split the children into two kinds of
fighters. One is offensive, the other more supportive. With the new Pair Up
system we can make our fighters (much) stronger and with this FAQ I am trying
to help you make them their strongest.

I've also listed a skill set that will work fine with their given role. And as
a bonus I've given a partner to marry, so they can have an S-support together,
to make them even more stronger.

Characters are in order of recruitment.

    ----------------
    - 04.01 LUCINA -
    ----------------
Lucina will join you at the end of chapter 13. Her default class is Lord. She
will ALWAYS inhered Aether from her father.

When I first got Lucina to join my party, I thought she was meant to be a
offensive fighter. But I was wrong. Why? Because of her father. She learns the
best support skill there is; Dual Strike+. With this, she can and will always
support you when you attack an enemy, resulting in more damage.

So which mother and class would fit her well? She wants to inhered Galeforce,
that much is sure. The only mothers capable of doing this are Olivia, Sumia,
    Maribelle and female Avatar.

For a long time I thought Olivia was the best, but I was wrong. Why? Because
Inigo doesn't want Chrom as his father. Also, a second daughter of Chrom would
also be able to learn Aether, which is much better than Rightful King.

Since Maribelle also gives you a son (Brady), Sumia is your best option.

Even the max. stat modifiers you receive from Sumia are great. +5 speed is
actually the best Lucina can get anyway (unless you marry Avatar/Robin).

Now we have to pick her a role that she will fulfill. I chose Dark Flier.
Simply because in the end I will have multiply Sorcerer units in my party, so
I will need some Dark Fliers (they give the best support together).

    ----------
    - SKILLS -
    ----------
In my opinion the following is the best skill set for Lucina in this role:

Skill Learned at level and class
    --------------------------------------------
    Aether default
    Pavise General, level 15
    Tomefaire* Sage, level 15
    Galeforce Dark Flier, level 15
Dual Guard+ Great Knight, level 15

*If you have access to DLC, replace Tomefaire for Limit Break.

Lucina needs Sumia as her mother to have access to Pavise. If she would get
Olivia as her mother, than replace Pavise by Vantage. Tomefaire will do great
when you don't have access to Limit Break.

Also, Olivia doesn't offer Tomefaire. Maribelle does, Brady really doesn't
want Chrom as his father. You could always use Dual Strike+, which she has by
    default.

Lucina can get every skill on her own. But if you want to pass something down
from Sumia, get Pavise if you're willing to grind much. If not, I guess
Galeforce will do. IF even that is too much, just get Defense +2, it will be
    great early on in Lunatic.

In the mean time you can start building up some supports. You should get an
S-support with Inigo. Inigo will become a Sorcerer, which does great mixed up
    with a Dark Flier.

    ---------------
    - 04.02 OWAIN -
    ---------------
Owain will join you during Side Story 5. He appears as an NPC, have Chrom or
Lissa talk to him and will join your party. His default class is Myrmidon.

Even though he "doesn't" need a father, I had a hard time to find the best one
for him. Yes, that is a strange sentence. Owain gains many great skills from
his mother, so his father probably only needs to contribute stats.

Or is it? Owain also desperately wants Luna. And because of this, his options
are actually limited. Also, most of his father’s actually make Owain worse...

Owain can learn Luna from Frederick, Stahl, Kellam and Ricken. Kellam and
Frederick will lower your speed, which isn't great. Ricken destroys your
strength, but will make your magic Godly. Stahl is great to, but is far better
with someone else. So Ricken it is.

Unfortunate Ricken doesn't give Owain access to the Sorcerer class. Henry or
Libra do, but then Owain will lack Armsthrift. We need something else for him.

As you might've figured, we want Owain to be an offensive fighter. His magic
power will rock. So his final class will be Sage.

    ----------
    - SKILLS -
    ----------
In my opinion the following is the best skill set for Owain in this role:

Skill Learned at level and class
    --------------------------------------------
    Vantage default
Galeforce default, need(!!) to pass down from Lissa.
    Luna Great Knight, level 5
Dual Guard+ Great Knight, level 15
    Tomefaire* Sage, level 15

*If you have access to DLC, replace Tomefaire for Limit Break. Also Dual
Guard+ can be replace by Aggressor (also DLC only).

Lissa always MUST pass down Galeforce. If she doesn't, Owain will never be
able to learn the skill. Ricken can pass down any skill, but you will probably
prefer to pass down Dual Guard+, as it will take the longest time to get
    himself.

He probably also doesn't want to stay in a physical class for to long. Just
switch early from Myrmidon to Cavalier, promote at level 10 and go Great
Knight (unless Ricken has saved you the trouble). Get both Luna and Dual
    Guard+ and revert to Mage.

You'll get Magic+2, which will be replaced by Tomefaire later on.

While training for your skill set, might as well start up your supports. Owain
wants to marry Severa. Why? Because Severa really wants someone strong by her
side. Owain also gains much more magic from her.

    ---------------
    - 04.03 INIGO -
    ---------------
Inigo appears as an NPC during Side Story 6. In order to make him join your
party either Chrom or Olivia must talk to him. His base class will be
    Mercenary.

For a long time I've been thinking that Olivia and Chrom where the best couple
together. But I was wrong, Sumia get the best out of Lucina, while Inigo is
better off as an Sorcerer (most broken class of the game).

His default Armsthrift really screams for this. So why not please him? Only
two options for this Libra and Henry. Henry does lower your Luck and Res,
while Libra just gains one less skill...

Also, Libra offers Tomefaire, which will further increase your magic power.
So its an easy pick after all. So, unless you have DLC access, Libra will
offer the better set. WITH DLC, you should pick Henry, as that +1 skill will
    matter offensively.

IF you really NEED Luna on Inigo, then Chrom or Stahl are your only options.
Note, he doesn't need it, if Lucina is his partner. Also Vengeance tends to do
more damage in Lunatic (more damage taken is more damage dealt).

Like mentioned before, we will make him an offensive fighter (Sorcerer).

    ----------
    - SKILLS -
    ----------
In my opinion the following is the best skill set for Inigo in this role:

Skill Learned at level and class
    --------------------------------------------
    Armsthrift default
Galeforce default, need(!!) to pass down from Olivia.
    Vengeance Sorcerer, level 5
    Vantage Myrmidon, level 10
    Tomefaire* Sage, level 15

*If you have access to DLC, replace Tomefaire for Limit Break. Also Galeforce
can be replaced by Aggressor (also DLC only).

Olivia always MUST pass down Galeforce. If she doesn't, Inigo will never know
the skill. Libra can pass down any skill. He starts out as a War Monk, but
should probably go into Sage fast.

Again, IF you plan on getting Limit Break, ALWAYS pair him up with Henry.
Henry can pass down Vengeance with ease. Use a Second Seal on Inigo right
away and learn Vantage as a Myrmidon.

Get Limit Break after and your skill set is done.

To get maximum support, we need a Dark Flier. Lucina will become his bride.
With S-support Inigo won't get hit often due to Dual Guard+. Also his speed
and magic will rise to very high levels.

    ---------------
    - 04.04 BRADY -
    ---------------
Brady will join you during Side Story 7. He will appear as an NPC, have either
Chrom or Maribelle talk to him. Will join you as a Priest.

Brady wants to act as an Magical offensive unit. For this, he will prefer to
be a Sorcerer. Only Libra (already taken) and Henry can offer this. Even
though Henry offers Vengeance, he does lack everything else (mainly
    Armsthrift).

So then what? We can still make a great Sage out of Brady. As a Sage we will
want speed, much speed. Also Vantage will be nice, when we get low on health.
Even though Virion seems okay for him, Lon'Qu will prove to be much better.

As stated before, Brady will become a Sage.

    ----------
    - SKILLS -
    ----------
In my opinion the following is the best skill set for Brady in this role:

Skill Learned at level and class
    --------------------------------------------
Galeforce default, need(!!) to pass down from Maribelle.
    Luna Great Knight, level 5
    Vantage Myrmidon, level 10
Dual Guard+ Great Knight, level 5
    Tomefaire* Sage, level 15

*If you have access to DLC, replace Tomefaire for Limit Break. Also Dual
Guard+ can be replaced by Aggressor (also DLC only).

Brady needs to learn Galeforce from his mother. IF he DOESN'T learn it from
Maribelle, Brady will never be able to learn the skill.

Lon'Qu can't pass down much. Actually the only usable skill will be Vantage,
which he gets after reaching just level 10 as a Myrmidon. You could go for
Lucky Seven, Movement +1 or Deliverer, but I wouldn't bother.

Make sure Brady learns Dual Guard+ fast, while EXP still flows decently.

Brady wants to marry Cynthia. Together they will be unstoppable with double
Galeforce. So you could attack three times in a single turn with them.

    ----------------
    - 04.05 KJELLE -
    ----------------
Kjelle is able to join you during Side Story 8. Have either Chrom or Sully
talk to her. She will join you as a Knight, which can be a pain to raise.

Kjelle has every skill she wants from her mother. General, Paladin and even
    Swordmaster.

So what will her father contribute?

Raw stats I guess. Vaike gives her the best strength. Kellam the best defense,
but there will be better options for her. Donnel. Yes, I said it (again). I
believe Donnel is absolute best for her.

Why? Because Nah has more need for General. Which Vaike does provide and
Donnel doesn't. Donnel also offers 1 more defense, while only lowering your
    strength by 2.

Skills will be slightly the same, but Donnel still offers more. Mainly
Lancefaire and Galeforce (if you want them). Still, defensive will be your
    friend.

Kjelle is going to be an offensive/defensive tank (General).

    ----------
    - SKILLS -
    ----------
In my opinion the following is the best skill set for Kjelle in this role:

Skill Learned at level and class
    --------------------------------------------
    Armsthrift Mercenary, level 1
    Sol Hero, level 5
    Lancefaire Falcon Knight level 15
    Pavise General, level 15
    Aegis Paladin, level 15

*If you have access to DLC, replace Lancefaire by Limit Break.

Slightly (better) set. Donnel offers the powerful Lancefaire, which gives you
+5 strength when you wield a Lance (Gradvius for example).

With Donnel as your father you could also use Galeforce, which will mostly
benefit you more on easier difficulties. Also Deliverer is a valid option,
because it will raise your movement by 2.

With Vaike as her father we don't have access to Galeforce. But we still keep
the great skills as Vaike also passes down Armsthrift and with more skill
you will be abusing Sol better.

Pavise and Aegis keep your defense up, while Deliverer fixes the low movement
of the General class. Also Dual Guard+ or Vantage will offer options.

Sully probably wants to pass down Aegis, as she will grab it easily. Donnel
could pass down Aptitude, so you can get GREAT gains early on. But Armsthrift
will probably be better in the long run.

Kjelle wants Yarne as her partner in crime. Yarne can get an S-support, while
his boosts are slightly better than that of a Paladin.

    -----------------
    - 04.06 CYNTHIA -
    -----------------
Cynthia will appear as an enemy during Side Story 9. In order to pursue her to
your side, make Chrom or Sumia talk to her. Starts out in the Pegasus Knight
    class, which is always nice.

As you might've figured, Cynthia will be the little sister of Lucina. Not only
that, but she will also act like an copy of her sister. She has the greatest
    dad possible for her.

Many people do like Henry, but why? Should Chrom marry Olivia? That will
actually make Inigo worst. Also Olivia will miss out on Pavise, which will
    hurt in harder difficulties.

Henry is a great dad though, he offers more magic than Chrom, which is nice
when you're a Dark Flier. Also Vengeance, Lucky Seven and Tomebreaker come
    available from him.

Still, I prefer three (Cynthia, Lucina and Inigo) great children above one
slightly better (Cynthia). Yes, all three could go with a different class, but
why would you neglect the most broken combo's in the game?

I will make Cynthia a Dark Flier, so she can support, just like Lucina. She
will only miss out on Duel Strike+, but still pretty great overall.

    ----------
    - SKILLS -
    ----------
In my opinion the following is the best skill set for Cynthia in this role:

Skill Learned at level and class
    --------------------------------------------
    Aether default
    Pavise General, level 15
    Tomefaire* Sage, level 15
    Galeforce Dark Flier, level 15
Dual Guard+ Great Knight, level 15

*If you have access to DLC, replace Tomefaire for Limit Break.

Chrom always passes down Aether, while you will miss out of Dual Strike+.
Really big miss if you ask me. Sumia passes down Galefoce, just because it
is easy to get for her (or Pavise if you're willing to grind).

Nothing strange, really. Pavise keeps her own damage down, while the others
are more supportive. Aether acts like Luna+. You also always replace Tomefaire
early game by Aegis, to take less damage from different weapons.

In the end Cynthia wants to marry (male)Morgan, or Brady. This way both of
them will be unstoppable. Brady can also use Galeforce, which will result in
    many kills during your turns.

If you get a male Morgan, pair her up with Cynthia. Morgan should be the
daughter of Brady. Which actually works perfectly.

    ----------------
    - 04.07 SEVERA -
    ----------------
During Side Story 10 you'll meet Severa. You can talk to her with Cordelia,
but this won't make her join you. Instead she must do it herself, protect her
and let her talk to Holland (random enemy). After she will join your forces.

Severa can do many things on her own, being a Hero, Dark Flier or Sorcerer.
It actually depends on her father.

Many options and actually everyone would do well with her. What do we want
really? My own main concern was her speed. This way she can live easier during
her recruitment and with it, she can make more out of her partner.

I want Luna and Dual Guard+ on her, so the options are Frederick, Kellam,
Vaike, Stahl and Ricken. Out of those, I think Frederick, Kellam, Vaike and
Ricken are better on other kids. This is why I went with Stahl.

Stahl also offers the best speed out of those, while only slightly hurting my
    magic stat.

I like to make a Sorcerer out of Severa.

    ----------
    - SKILLS -
    ----------
In my opinion the following is the best skill set for Severa in this role:

Skill Learned at level and class
    --------------------------------------------
    Armsthrift default
    Vengeance Sorcerer, level 5
    Vantage Myrmidon, level 10
Dual Guard+* Great Knight, level 15
    Galeforce Dark Flier, level 15

*If you have access to DLC, replace Dual Guard+ for Limit Break.

Almost every skill learned from her mother. Severa will be extremely fast and
hits with tremendous power. Vengeance and Dual Guard+ make her an excellent
    partner and attacker.

With Stahl as her father, she could also make an excellent Hero. Replace
Vengeance with Sol. Probably also try to fit in Swordfaire.

Severa likes to marry Owain, to give him that extra power, while she gets
    more magic.

    ----------------
    - 04.08 GEROME -
    ----------------
Gerome appears in Side Story 11 as an NPC. In order to recruit him, make
either Chrom or his mother (Cherche) talk to him. After he joins you as a
    Wyvern Rider.

Gerome likes to be a tank. Why? Because his father rarely offers speed. They
DO pass on great strength and defense, making his role more obvious. So what
    options do we have?

Frederick, Stahl, Kellam and Ricken all offer Luna. But because we want to
become a tank, Ricken is out of the question. Stahl is already taken, so he is
    out as well.

Frederick and Kellam are actually almost the same. THE big difference is
Pavise. With it, Gerome becomes even more unstoppable. Great defense and
    strength paired with amazing skills.

I like to make Gerome a General, just like Kjelle.

    ----------
    - SKILLS -
    ----------
In my opinion the following is the best skill set for Gerome in this role:

Skill Learned at level and class
    --------------------------------------------
    Sol Hero, level 5
    Deliverer* Griffon Rider level 5
    Pasive General, level 15
    Aegis Paladin, level 15
Dual Guard+ Great Knight, level 15

*If you have access to DLC, replace Deliverer for Limit Break. Also Dual
Guard+ can be replaced by Aggressor (also DLC only).

Remember the set? That is right, it is almost the same as Kjelle. Only thing
is, Gerome can learn Aggressor(DLC only). Great offensive set, while being
    defensive.

Sol will keep you alive, but you could try Renewal over it. No Galeforce, but
you really don't miss it. You could also replace Sol by Renewal and Deliverer
with Luna for more power, but you'll miss the movement.

Frederick should pass down Dual Guard+, his mother should pass down Deliverer.

Because he is such a strong fighter, he needs a strong bride. He will marry
Nah, which will further increase his strength. If you want him to have Paladin
support, try Frederick. But Frederick can only offer A-support.

    ---------------
    - 04.09 YARNE -
    ---------------
Yarne will appear as an enemy during Side Story 13. You can either join him,
or fight hm. Both sides, just the same goal. After Panne or Chrom has spoken
to him, he will offer his help and joins you.

Yarne is just like Gerome and Nah. Many fathers he would want (read: need),
but everyone wants te same. Yarne should become a supporter for Kjelle.

What choices do we have? Stahl (taken), Frederick (taken), Ricken (taken) or
Kellam. Now, that was easy, wasn't it? Yes, he would've preferred Frederick,
but as a support unit, he really don't need any of the Paladin skills.

Before I kept him in his default class, but again, to much hate for it. Now
Yarne will be able to fight more himself, even though he is still weak to
Beastkillers, he will be fine fighting.

His base class now becomes Berserker.

    ----------
    - SKILLS -
    ----------
In my opinion the following is the best skill set for Yarne in this role:

Skill Learned at level and class
    --------------------------------------------
Swordbreaker* default, need(!!) to pass down from Panne.
    Luna Great Knight, level 5
Dual Guard+ Great Knight, level 15
    Pavise General, level 15
    Axefaire Berserker, level 15

*If you have access to DLC, replace Swordbreaker for Limit Break. Also
Axefaire can be replaced by Aggressor (also DLC only).

Strong set, in what it needs to do. Yes, he would've liked Sol. But with
Luna you get more strength. WITH DLC, Aggressor will further boost your
    strength.

Swordbreaker is nice, but really just a filler. You could replace it with
    anything you see fit.

As you can tell, with DLC our Taguel becomes a lot stronger. Yes, we could
give him Frederick for Strength +2, Lancebreaker and even Defender. But then
Gerome would miss out on Aegis. Kellam does fine in supporting his son.

Kellam should pass down Pavise, Panne needs to give him Swordbreaker.

Pair him up with Kjelle and watch them rock.

    -----------------
    - 04.10 LAURENT -
    -----------------
During Side Story 14 Laurent is waiting in a village. To make him join you,
either Miriel or Chrom should visit it. He joins you as a Mage.

Laurent is a Mage already, which gives away his dream. He wants to become a
Sorcerer and to do this, he only has a few dads left.

From his mother he already gains access to skills like Magic+2, Tomefaire and
even the class Sorcerer. But what does he lack?

Yes, he can't keep on going without Armsthrift. Who will give this to his son?
Your answer is Donnel and Gregor. Since Donnel can also learn Galeforce to
female units, our best option will be Gregor.

    ----------
    - SKILLS -
    ----------
In my opinion the following is the best skill set for Laurent in this role:

Skill Learned at level and class
    --------------------------------------------
    Armsthrift Mercenary, level 1
    Vengeance Sorcerer, level 5
    Vantage Myrmidon, level 10
    Tomefaire* Sage, level 15
    Tomebreaker Sorcerer, level 15

*If you have access to DLC, replace Tomefaire for Limit Break. Also
Tomebreaker can be replaced by Aggressor (also DLC only).

Laurent will become a real mage killer. Actually, he can take on every
possible enemy thanks to his move set. The only thing he really misses is
Luna, but no father can learn it to him, without screwing him over.

With DLC, you should give him Aggressor as well. Replace Tomefaire or
    Tomebreaker.

Just give him Aversa's Night and watch him rule. To make him even deadlier,
get him an S-support with Noire. To make the most out of them, have Noire
kill an enemy first, then switch back into Laurent.

Also, keep in mind, Laurent has no access to Dual Guard+, so he won't be
great as a supporter during enemy phases, so make sure he is always the
    active fighter.

    ---------------
    - 04.11 NOIRE -
    ---------------
Noire will appear as an Archer during Side Story 15. Just wait until the
beginning of turn 2 and she will join your forces.

Noire is one of the most difficult children to pick. Why? Because all of her
classes are great. Because she really want to learn Galeforce, she also wants
a father that can teach it to her.

Only options for it are Donnel, Gaius and Avatar. I did mention before that
Donnel benefits her more and because of this we gave Donnel to Kjelle. So
    Gaius it is.

Noire could become both a Sorcerer or a Dark Flier. I prefer her as a Dark
Flier just because the lack of Armsthrift. But she would do just as fine as a
Sorcerer. You could even switch during battles, it won't harm her. Also, if
you want Armsthrift on her, just make Donnel her dad.

    ----------
    - SKILLS -
    ----------
In my opinion the following is the best skill set for Noire in this role:

Skill Learned at level and class
    --------------------------------------------
    Luna Great Knight, level 5
    Vantage Myrmidon, level 10
Dual Guard+ Great Knight, level 15
    Galeforce Dark Flier, level 15
    Pavise General, level 15

*If you have access to DLC, replace Dual Guard+ with Limit Break.

Noire is a great Dark Flier and thanks to Gaius she becomes super fast. You
could replace Luna with Vengeance if you like. Some battles also might
require Tomebreaker, which is no problem.

Also Axebreaker can be passed down through Gaius, or Sol or Counter. Just
pick one, just in case you ever want to use it. I prefer to pass down Vantage,
as it comes in handy early on.

Tharja COULD pass down Pavise, but that will probably take ages. Vengeance
early game (or Tomebreaker) is also nice to have.

Give her an S-Support with Laurent to gain more strength.

    -------------
    - 04.12 NAH -
    -------------
Nah is a Manakete that appears as an NPC during Side Story 16. Talk to her
with Chrom or Nowi and she will join you.

Nah can learn Galeforce, but do we really want to? Yes, she would become more
powerful. But no, she won't benefit greatly out of it. She doesn't have
access to Brave Weapons. Or does she?

There is really one father that she really loves, The Vaike! Yes, he is by far
her best father and actually no other kids make better use out of him. He even
passes down more classes to her, than to other children.

Also, he is most wanted because of the General/Hero combo class.

Just use her as a Manakete, General or Hero. I prefer Hero, as it will benefit
    Gerome more.

    ----------
    - SKILLS -
    ----------
In my opinion the following is the best skill set for Nah in this role:

Skill Learned at level and class
    --------------------------------------------
Axefaire default, MUST(!!) pass down from Vaike
    Sol Hero, level 5
    Lucky Seven Trickster, level 5
    Pavise General, level 15
Dual Guard+ Great Knight, level 15

*If you have access to DLC, replace Axefaire with Limit Break.

Great offensive tag partner. You could replace Sol with Luna. Or even get
Lucky Seven OR Armsthrift on there. If you want to play around with legendary
weapons, lose out on Axefaire and play with Armsthrift.

As mentioned before, make sure Vaike passes down Axefaire. Nowi should pass
down Strength+2, as it will make killing things easier early on. Nothing big
    from her mother anyway.

Support her with Gerome. Together they will be tough to take down.

    ----------------
    - 04.13 MORGAN -
    ----------------
Morgan joins you during Prologue 12, after you've talked to him/her with Chrom
or Avatar/Robin. Morgan will always be the opposite gender of your Avatar.

What makes a good mother or father for Morgan? Actually, it doesn't matter.
From your Avatar he/she will gain all possible classes. But if your Avatar is
female, you still want to pass down Galeforce. Male Avatar wants to pass down
    something like Wrath or Counter.

Myself, I prefer to get a female Avatar. Why? Because I can get a full party
of S-supports. So what is best to pick? Personally, I prefer my Avatar to be
+MAG, -STR. This way you get best of both worlds.

Since Sorcerer is the most broken class in the game, why not make Morgan one
as well. I chose Brady to be her father. Because of Lon'Qu we will get the
    speed through Brady.

Also all available classes means she will destroy everything she/he sees. If
you have a male Avatar, make sure he marries with Maribelle to get the best
    possible Brady.

    ----------
    - SKILLS -
    ----------
In my opinion the following is the best skill set for Morgan in this role:

Skill Learned at level and class
    --------------------------------------------
Galeforce Default, Avatar MUST!!! pass this skill down
    Armsthrift Mercenary, level 1
    Vengeance Sorcerer, level 5
    Vantage Myrmidon, level 10
Dual Guard+* Great Knight, level 15

*If you have access to DLC, replace Dual Guard+ with Limit Break.

As you can see, it has the best of all worlds. You might even want to skip
Dual Guard+ to add Ingis or Sol.

Because we have a male Morgan, we want to pair him up with Cynthia. As you
might've figured, Brady will already get an S-support with Avatar/Robin. So
    this leaves Cynthia open.

    ================================
    = 05 - SUGGESTED PAIR UPS - 05 =
    ================================
I've written a minor overview, which is easy to read. In this you'll find the
suggested pair ups (supports) and the classes. Remember, there will be other
great classes, which I will mention in updates later on.

    Sage Brady - S - Sorcerer Avatar
    Sage Owain - S - Sorcerer Severa
    General Kjelle - S - Berserker Yarne
    General Gerome - S - Manakete/Hero/General Nah
Sorcerer Inigo - S - Dark Flier Lucina
Sorcerer Morgan - S - Dark Flier Cynthia
Sorcerer Laurent - S - Dark Flier Noire

Add two rally bots and you're all set, even for the harder DLC.

    ================================
    = 06 - SUGGESTED PAIRINGS - 06 =
    ================================
Because I received e-mails about this, I figured I just mentioned it at the
bottom of the guide. Just a brief preview of what was mentioned before in
detail (and without the other options.

    Sumia - S - Chrom
    Lissa - S - Ricken
    Olivia - S - Libra
    Maribelle - S - Lon'Qu
    Sully - S - Donnel
    Cordelia - S - Stahl
    Cherche - S - Frederick
    Panne - S - Kellam
    Miriel - S - Gregor
    Tharja - S - Gaius
    Nowi - S - Vaike
    Avatar/Robin - S - Brady

    Not paired: Virion and Henry.

Virion should be used as a weaker version of Lon'Qu, while Henry is THE best
for Sumia when she DOESN'T get Chrom.

    ==========================================
    = 07 - LUNA / DUAL GUARD + PAIRINGS - 07 =
    ==========================================
Luna and Dual Guard+ are considered two of the best skills in the game. Luna
is offensive, while Dual Guard+ is for support.

I have made a list, so that EVERY child can learn those two skills. Still it
is based on the most optimal setup, so you can still switch around a bit if
    you want to.

    Olivia - S - Chrom
    Lissa - S - Ricken
    Sumia - S - Henry
    Maribelle - S - Lon'Qu
    Sully - S - Donnel
    Cordelia - S - Stahl
    Cherche - S - Frederick
    Panne - S - Kellam
    Miriel - S - Avatar/Robin
Tharja - S - Gaius (or Gregor for Sorcerer build)
    Nowi - S - Vaike

Some things to keep in mind, while switching around:

The following children will always be able to learn both skills:

    Brady
    Noire
    Lucina
    Morgan
    Kjelle
    Cynthia

The following fathers will always pass down both skills:

    Chrom
    Stahl
    Kellam
    Ricken
    Frederick
    Avatar/Robin

    - Vaike will only pass it down to female children. This means that Vaike
should be always the father of either Severa (marry Cordelia) or
    Nah (marry Nowi).

    - Chrom has limited options to marry, so he should marry Olivia.

    - Avatar/Robin will give his son/daughter access to all available classes. But
to make most use out of this, he should marry Miriel, as Laurent will benefit
    most of it.
