                                Power-Up 1: Trance Stare

            FRONT GATES SECTION ONE
    
            Following the short conversation, head right and talk to the first
    shrunken head. Go right, hopping on top of the red-cloaked monster (a Dullahan)
    to knock its head off temporarily, and grab the first three Gems of the game
    (3/1400). Head right and up the platforms to receive four more Gems (7/1400).
    Continue right and across the stone platforms, eliminating another Dullahan
    opponent to retrieve a large Gem from the chest that gives you 5 gems (12/1400),
    doing so by jumping on it. Climb up the platforms and right, taking 4 more Gems
    in the process (16/1400).
    
            Hop over the next platform for 3 more gems, then go down into the cavern
    area. Avoid the skeleton when it approaches or jump onto its head to temporarily
    stun it (you cannot defeat it outright) and grab another large Gem (24/1400).
    
            Continue right down the path until you get a short scene, then head into
    the next section.
    
    
            FRONT GATES SECTION TWO
    
            Go up and right, gathering 5 small gems and a large Gem for a total of
    10 (34/1400) while taking out another Dullahan servant. Head right slightly and
    down to locate another large Gem (39/1400). Climb up the platforms from here and
    proceed right once more. At the large tree stump, descend down its left side to
    open a chest for another large Gem (44/1400).
    
            Proceed back up the top of the stump and go right, grabbing 4 more Gems
    (48/1400). You can also drop down to the left after the last gem for a heart if
    you need one. Eliminate another Dullahan foe as you head eastwards to wrap this
    part of the forest up.
    
    
            FRONT GATES SECTION THREE
    
            Head up the tree branches at the start. Ignore attempting to get to the
    top and instead cross over and go right, taking out a Dullahan. Drop down to the
    right of the side of the roof and hop on top of the chest for a big Gem
    (53/1400), then cross right, taking out a skeleton in the process. Ascend the
    inside of the ruined building to take out a bottle-throwing Dullahan up top,
    then jump off to the left to claim two small Gems and a large Gem (60/1400).
    
            Proceed right and drop down onto the side of an underground labyrinth.
    Wait and time out the skeleton for it to drop down and then rush past it. Jump
    up and right a bit for four Gems (64/1400), then drop down and retrieve another
    large Gem (69/1400). Ignore the entrance heading out right and instead head up
    to the top side of the cavern and out right.
    
    
            FRONT GATES SECTION FOUR
    
            Head right, elimiinating the Armor Pieces and Knights and continue on
    into the Hotel proper.
    
    
            SECTION ONE
    
            Just hop over the first potted plant you see, then eliminate a Dullahan
    zombie jumping over the fire and grab 4 Gems (73/1400). Continue progressing
    right, eliminating a couple more Dullahan enemies and a suit of Armor and a
    Knight. Leap up the platforms once you hit the wall at the end, taking out
    another Dullahan before leaping up the platforms above it and right for 4 more
    Gems (77/1400).
    
            The brown platforms will disappear shortly after you put weight on them
    but then reappear. Once they return, head up and left, eliminating another
    zombie servant and going over the fire to take out a Skeleton, followed by
    another Armor piece as you continue left. Take out another potted plant, which
    shall give off a small recovery heart, before going over another fire and defeat
    another Dullahan.
    
            You cannot retrieve the Big Heart when going up for now, so just quickly
    hop up and right, taking care not to stay on the brown platforms for too long or
    else they will disappear under your weight, sending you falling. Retrieve 3 more
    Gems after taking out another zombie (80/1400), then eliminate another skeleton
    and multiple potted plants and zombies as you make your way over to the far
    right end of the room. Drop down and take out a single piece of Armor before
    talking to Dracula using the A button. Once done, head right a room.
    
    
            SECTION TWO
    
            Head right and eliminate a zombie servant before pressing A in front of
    the keyhole at the end.
    
    
            SECTION THREE
    
            Grab the three accessible Gems in here (83/1400) before returning back
    left.
    
    
            SECTION TWO
    
            Back out here, simply walk right off-screen without touching the keyhole
    to move on.
    
    
            SECTION FOUR
    
            Eliminate the Armor piece on the ground before going up the first flight
    of stairs. Break open the chest to your left for a large Gem (88/1400), then
    talk to Griffin to your left to drop off the Room Key. Continue going up the
    stairs, taking out another zombie servant, before pressing A when indicated to
    continue into another room.
    
    
            SECTION FIVE
    
            Head right and hop onto the Dullahan servant, following it up with a
    piece of Armor and another zombie. Jump into the air to grab 4 more Gem pieces
    (92/1400), then eliminate another Armor piece. Drop down to your left to
    temporarily take out a Skeleton and open the chest for a large Gem (97/1400).
    Continue walking right and jump onto the top ledge to move back out into Section
    Four.
    
    
            SECTION FOUR
    
            Head up and left. Through judicious use of jumping off the Armor Piece,
    you can grab 4 more Gems (101/1400), but cannot reach the top platform. Return
    to the bottom of the room instead and head right on to Section Six.
    
    
            SECTION SIX
    
            Jump over consecutive platforms to retrieve 6 Gems (107/1400). Ignore
    the first keyhole you see, then continue right jumping over a few more enemies
    until you get to a door. Enter.
    
    
            SECTION SEVEN
    
            Break open the chest in here to your left for a large Gem (112/1400),
    then exit out.
    
    
            SECTION SIX
    
            Continue on right, ignoring the Dark Knight if you can, and eliminate
    another SKeleton before finally coming to still another door. Enter this one
    too.
    
    
            SECTION EIGHT
    
            Hop onto the chest for another large Gem (117/1400). Leave once done
    inside.
    
    
            SECTION SIX
    
            Return left a total of three rooms to Section One.
    
    
            SECTION ONE
    
            Talk to Dracula here to retrieve another Key. Move right to the next
    room again.
    
    
            SECTION TWO
    
            Jump onto the higher platform and eliminate a Dullahan, then hop up to
    the left once the Skeleton enemy jumps to your right. Talk to the monster in the
    blue shirt to your left. Return a room back once done.
    
    
            SECTION ONE
    
            Talk to Dracula once more, then proceed three rooms right again to
    Section Six.
    
    
            SECTION SIX
    
            Inside, talk to the monster near the entry in the suit, then head back
    three rooms again.
    
    
            SECTION ONE
    
            Speak again with Dracula and continue right one room.
    
    
            SECTION TWO
    
            Head right to stand in front of the door (NOT the keyhole). Press A to
    enter Section Nine.
    
    
            SECTION NINE
    
            In here, you get to engage in a little jumping mini-game. Hop onto one
    of the wolf pups as it runs around to send a bandage up into the air. Use the
    platforms to jump and contact the bandage, and press the A button in front of
    Murray to return the bandage. Repeat this twice more, with the amount of wolf
    pups increasing by one each time, to end the game. The platforms also will
    temporarily disappear if you stand on it too long, so keep that in mind.
    
            Once you finish, you will learn Trance Stare, which can be utilised with
    the Y button. Exit out.

                                Power-Up 2: Wall Running

            SECTION TWO
    
            Talk to Dracula to get Monster Toiler Cleaner and be sent on your merry
    way again. Head east a room again.
    
    
            SECTION FOUR
    
            Head up the stairs until you come to the Armor piece near the top. Use
    your Trance Stare on the Armor while it is on the right end of its patrol to
    freeze it. Hop off its head to take out a servant, then continue towards Section
    Ten.
    
    
            SECTION TEN
    
            Jump onto the short platform then hop over to the right side of the
    Dullahan. Use the Trance Stare to freeze it in place to the left, and hop off
    its head towards the chandelier for 4 Gems (121/1400). Use the Trance Stare
    again on the zombie when it is to the right to leap over the red coffin, and
    bust open a chest for a large Gem (126/1400).
    
            Continue right, and enter the door underneath the Armor piece into a
    small room.
    
    
            SECTION ELEVEN
    
            Break open the chest for a large Gem to your left (131/1400), then exit
    back outside.
    
    
            SECTION TEN
    
            Head right for a while over some more Zombie, Knights and Armor enemies.
    You should see a staircase going down into the floor. Ignore this, but this is a
    quick route to Section Six below.
    
            Continue right, ignoring the keyhole above you, until you get to another
    door. Quickly grab the three Gems right above you (134/1400) and then enter the
    door.
    
    
            SECTION TWELVE
    
            Break open the chest in here for another large Gem (139/1400), then head
    outside into the corridor.
    
    
            SECTION TEN
    
            Outside, head right and jump up the two platforms going up left. You do
    not have anything to take out the bottle-throwing servant, so instead take a hit
    as you run left and dash past it for 4 Gems (143/1400), then drop down and enter
    and reexit the hotel room to save the Gems. Afterwards, continue right until you
    exit off-screen at the end to the next area.
    
    
            SECTION THIRTEEN
    
            Talk to the witch here to drop off the Monster Toilet Cleaner, then
    return a room left.
    
    
            SECTION TEN
    
            Head left back about halfway across the corridor. Talk to the shruken
    head on the ground floor, then return right to the next room.
    
    
            SECTION THIRTEEN
    
            Receive a Skeleton Key on talking to the Witch here. Jump on top of the
    walking piece of Armor, then use Down + B over top of the staircase to drop down
    through the floor section.
    
            On the ground, you can head left to go to Section Six, the bottom
    corridor, but ignore that as you will not find anything going that way. Instead,
    proceed right into Section Fourteen.
    
    
            SECTION FOURTEEN
    
            Head right over top of the platforms, ignoring or eliminating the
    Skeleton, and open the Keyhole on top of one of the platforms to enter through a
    side door.
    
    
            SECTION FIFTEEN
    
            Head right over the potted plant and use your Trance Stare on the Dark
    Knight to grab a large gem (148/1400). Drop down to the left side and hop onto
    the piece of Armor to be able to press the button underneath it to trigger the
    door above the Dark Knight to open.
    
            Use Trance Stare again and hop off the Dark Knight to the right and onto
    a platform, grabbing 5 Gems head right over the fire (153/1400). Take out a
    zombie servant and then break open the chest for another large Gem (158/1400),
    before exiting out right, returning outside to the corridor.
    
    
            SECTION FOURTEEN
    
            Continue on right and enter through the next door you see.
    
    
            SECTION SIXTEEN
    
            You will get to play another mini-game inside here. Use Trance Stare on
    each of the three wolf pups to send them reeling to the ground, then hop onto
    each of them to take them out. Afterwards, you will learn the Wall Running
    technique. Practice your wall running inside a little bit, then exit right back
    out into the corridor.

                                Power-Up 3: Electric Bolt

            SECTION FOURTEEN
    
            Talk to the skeleton standing to your left where you exit outside from.
    Return left back into Section Thirteen.
    
    
            SECTION THIRTEEN
    
            Head to the left side of the room and use the Wall Run ability up the
    red-tinted walls. Repeat to go up, taking out a few zombies, and grab a total of
    4 Gems from the left wall (162/1400), followed by another 8 going up the right
    set of walls (170/1400). At the top, eliminate a Dark Knight, drop down slightly
    to the left, and enter a keyhole room.
    
    
            SECTION SEVENTEEN
    
            Inside, take out a Dullahan enemy on the first platform, and drop down
    to crack open a chest that contains a large Gem (175/1400). Continue right over
    the flames, using Trance Stare on the skeleton as leverage if you must, and
    eliminate another pair of servants to be able to grab another 4 Gems (179/1400).
    Continue rightwards over more flames, taking out a few foes in the process, and
    crack open the chest at the end for yet another large Gem (184/1400). Use Trance
    Stare on the Armour piece to be able to exit back out into Section Thirteen.
    
    
            SECTION THIRTEEN
    
            Back outside, drop down to about the middle of the room, and go to where
    the exit left is located, and hop up a few platforms and Wall Run up a couple
    more red-tinted walls. Grab 4 Gems (188/1400) before talking to Winnie. Drop
    down to the exit heading out left to go into the middle of five corridors
    stacked up on top of the map (you would have visited the bottom two already).
    
    
            SECTION EIGHTEEN
    
            Make your way through a few opponents to start. Once you get past the
    first skeleton, drop down and enter the keyhole to go into Section Nineteen.
    
    
            SECTION NINETEEN
    
            Proceed right and use Trance Stare on the Dark Knight here to freeze it
    in its tracks, and use its helmet to hop onto the platform above. Jump up to the
    left and then right over to where the red-tinted walls are. Leap over to the
    opposite walls while running up to avoid touching and taking damage from
    arachnids hanging around, and grab 5 more Gems going through a fire (193/1400)
    before taking out a zombie servant up top. Grab another 4 Gems by freefalling
    down the shaft a bit further up and left (197/1400). After, exit back out into
    the hallway.
    
    
            SECTION EIGHTEEN
    
            Head left until you come to the fire on the bottom. Quickly run through
    it to recover the damage you take and grab two Gems in the process (199/1400),
    then enter the large wooden door into Section Twenty.
    
    
            SECTION TWENTY
    
            Open the chest in here for another large Gem (204/1400), then exit
    outside.
    
    
            SECTION EIGHTEEN
    
            Continue left. You can go down the stairs here to head down to Section
    Ten (the second-lowest corridor), and Wall Run back up. Otherwise, continue left
    past a Dullahan foe, jump over a flame, and then eliminate another zombie
    servant. Make mincemeat out of the skeletons and Dark Knight hanging around in
    the next section to break open a chest for another large Gem (209/1400), then
    continue left and enter the next door.
    
    
            SECTION TWENTY ONE
    
            Inside, open the chest for a large gem (214/1400) then leave again.
    
    
            SECTION EIGHTEEN
    
            Hop out left from the platform for a recovery heart, then continue left
    into the upper stairwell area.
    
    
            SECTION TWENTY TWO
    
            Take out the zombie hanging around on top of the first platform, then
    move right to take out an Armour piece temporarily and grab 4 Gems as a reward
    (218/1400). Continue left and up the staircase, and quickly wall-run up for 4
    more Gems before dropping right back down (222/1400). Use Trance Stare on the
    Armour piece to your right to continue grabbing 3 more Gems still (225/1400).
    
            Wall-Run up the left side again, and hop off up top. Take out the
    Skeleton and Armour piece as you go right, ignore the Keyhole door below you,
    and continue up. Grab the item lying on the floor to the left of the Knight.
    
            If you have at least two hearts, use Trance Stare on the Knight while it
    is on the right side, then hop up to the right, take a hit but take out the
    bottle-throwing zombie servant at the same time, and open the chest for a large
    Gem (230/1400).
    
            Drop down to the ground, then return two rooms right to Section
    Thirteen.
    
    
            SECTION THIRTEEN
    
            Run up a platform and use Wall RUn to your left and hop off up top. Talk
    to Winnie, then drop down to the very bottom of this room and head back out
    right into Section Fourteen, the bottom corridor to the right.
    
    
            SECTION FOURTEEN
    
            Continue right to the end and hop up. Use the Trance Stare on the
    platform with the teeth to flip it upside down and hop across to get to the
    platforms opposite. Use Trance Stare again on the Knight to move back right. Use
    Trance Stare once more on the dullahan servant over here to grab the 3 Gems
    right above its head (233/1400).
    
            Jump down and take out the bottle-throwing servant. Stand on the
    platform right next to it until it disintegrates to take out a skeleton down
    below and grab 4 more Gems right away (237/1400), then go right and obtain still
    4 more Gems (241/1400). Take out the large skeleton, then continue right to exit
    outside.
    
    
            SECTION TWENTY THREE
    
            Hop onto the first platform and leap from it onto the tops of the tree
    branches. Make your way around, taking out a skeleton, and grabbing 4 regular
    Gems and 2 large Gems (255/1400). Continue marching right from there, taking out
    skeletons along the way, until you reach solid ground.
    
            Ignore the keyhole at the base of the large tree for now, and instead
    run roughshod past the next zombie servant back into a section of the castle.
    
    
            SECTION TWENTY FOUR
    
            Hop onto the first moving table going left and right, connect onto the
    one going up at the left end of the first one's movement path, then onto another
    left-right table going to the upper left corner to locate 4 Gems (259/1400).
    There is, for now, not much else you can do in this room, so continue right and
    back outside.
    
    
            SECTION TWENTY FIVE
    
            Use Trance Stare on the first Dullahan servant you come across to hop
    onto the branches of the tree to your left. Take out multiple skeleton foes and
    snag 3 regular Gems and a large Gem (267/1400) and then crack open the chest on
    the left branch for another large Gem (272/1400).
    
            Make a jump from the right branch onto a grassy platform below, then
    continue right, knocking out skeleton enemies, until you get to three trees with
    smaller branches. Grab 5 regular Gems and a large Gem (282/1400).
    
            Drop down to the lowest branch of the middle tree while avoiding the
    wil'o'wisps that jump up and down between the middle of each set of trees, then
    jump left into the lower passage. Take out zombies and skeletons going left, and
    grab the Leg Bone at the end before entering the keyhole room into section
    twenty six.
    
    
            SECTION TWENTY SIX
    
            Hop onto the first floating table and allow it to take you right,
    grabbing 4 Gems in the process (286/1400), then onto the next table going up and
    down, claiming 4 more Gems again (290/1400). The next two tables in order each
    have 4 Gems (298/1400), but the one after that has only 3 (301/1400), then 4
    again (305/1400) followed by another 3-pack (308/1400) and finally another set
    of 4 (312/1400).
    
            When you see the Gems below you turn into a V-shape, do not worry about
    missing a jump onto a floating table as you will have solid ground underneath
    you. Should you fall, Trance Stare one of the Knights down below until you
    collect all 6 Gems (318/1400). Drop down to the bottom afterwards, taking out
    several skeleton enemies, to claim a Large Gem from the chest (323/1400).
    
            Head back up top, and leap onto the last three tables to get another 12
    Gems (335/1400). With a large amount of Gems from this room, leave through the
    exit at the end to go back outside.
    
    
            SECTION TWENTY FIVE
    
            Continue running right until you get out of the underground passageway.
    Hop across the tree branches and head on right back into a castle area.
    
    
            SECTION TWENTY SEVEN
    
            Proceed right and around above a bottle-throwing servant, and Wall-Run
    up. Jump over the Armour piece and take out the zombie servant at the end.
    
            Now, you have to Wall-Run up a significant section, making several hops
    off and also need to avoid taking damage from the aracnhids nesting on top of
    each wall section. Do not bother jumping off and leaping to the opposite wall,
    however. Instead, when going up the right wall, jump off near the top, moving
    left slightly, then back right onto the next section of the wall to the right.
    Repeat this a second time and then jump off at the end, temporarily taking out
    the Knight enemy and grabbing 4 Gems (339/1400).
    
            Drop back down the right shaft and return to the entrance. For now, this
    is all you will be able to accomplish. From the outdoor region, return three
    rooms right back to Section Fourteen.
    
    
            SECTION FOURTEEN
    
            Trance Stare the first zombie that you see to climb up onto the right
    platform. Ignore the red-cloaked servant you see here except to take it out, and
    instead use Trance Stare on a bottle being thrown your way prior to it touching
    the golden platform. Run across the platform and then onto the frozen bottle,
    and from there left to some more servants. Climb up while taking them out and
    hop off to the left.
    
            Continue on until you finally get to the skeleton and talk to him to
    have your next destination set out for you. Continue west through Sections
    Thirteen, into Section Eighteen (the middle of the five corridors to the west),
    and then out into Section Twenty Two.
    
    
            SECTION TWENTY TWO
    
            Enter the door at the base of the room into Section Twenty Eight.
    
    
            SECTION TWENTY EIGHT
    
            Inside, go right to initiate a conversation and you will get to start
    another mini-game, taking care of the Wolf Pups once more. Run up the left wall
    and hop off at the first available chance you get, and pursue the first Wolf Pop
    and hop on it to get one of Frank's body parts. Return down below and speak with
    him.
    
            Repeat going up the left wall, getting off at the second stop, and then
    the last stop, going along longer paths, until you retrieve all three body
    parts. Speak with Frank again to receive the Electric Bolt technique. Exit back
    outside into the main area.

            SECTION TWENTY TWO
    
            Speak with Dracula inside. Return right to Section Thirteen, the large
    vertical area to the right of the five corridors.
    
    
            SECTION THIRTEEN
    
            Head down the stairs and exit out the passageway into Section Twenty
    Nine.
    
    
            SECTION TWENTY NINE
    
            Jump onto the first button to open the gate in front of you. Wall Run up
    and make it past the gate, then use the Electric Bolt on the generator to open a
    gate at the end of the room. Drop down, taking care of both a Knight and Armour
    Piece while going right, followed by a Dark Knight, before you can finally exit
    outside onto a bridge.
    
    
            SECTION THIRTY
    
            Proceed eastwards, taking out multiple Armour pieces and Knights. Once
    you hit the end, ignore the keyhole and instead climb straight up the stairs.
    
    
            SECTION THIRTY ONE
    
            Make your way up several opponents at a time, using the Trance Stare to
    freeze an enemy in place where you need extra jumping height. Once you get to
    the toothed platform, ignore it and instead head right. Trance Stare the Knight
    to freeze it in place and go right to grab 4 Gems (343/1400). Head left up the
    platforms and drop down to locate a keyhole door, and enter.
    
    
            SECTION THIRTY TWO
    
            Make your way past the Dark Knight and open two doors with the press of
    the floor button. Hop up through the left door, taking out a wandering red-
    cloaked zombie servant, and break open the chest for a large Gem (348/1400).
    Eliminate another zombie up top to press a second button that opens up a third
    door.
    
            Head right now, breaking open another chest for another large Gem
    (353/1400). Continue to exit back outside.
    
    
            SECTION THIRTY ONE
    
            Drop down to your left and loop back around up top, then head up right
    and left across the platforms. Strike two zombie bottle-throwing servants up top
    with your Electric Bolt and drop down the left side to land on a wooden platform
    with a large Gem inside (358/1400).
    
            Move back down and make your way around back up top again. The large
    door you will come across cannot be entered for the moment, so continue on going
    up and left from there, then back up and right, until you finally hit the
    Generator up top. Use your Electric Bolt on it to light it up, then retreat back
    to the ground and down to Section Thirty.
    
    
            SECTION THIRTY
    
            Drop down to the ground and head right across into Section Thirty Three.
    
    
            SECTION THIRTY THREE
    
            Freefall to the ground where you enter in and head left past an Armour
    Piece to break open a chest for a large Gem (363/1400). Go back up and right,
    grabbing 4 more Gems while going right on several floating tables (367/1400),
    and then another large Gem from the chest (371/1400). Continue right from where
    the tables are at and down onto the head of a zombie servant to enter a keyhole
    room.
    
    
            SECTION THIRTY FOUR
    
            Head right along the upper set of platforms, using the Electric Bolt to
    take out two zombie servants. Drop down while pressing right after the fifth or
    so platform to grab 4 Gems (376/1400), then eliminate a large Skeleton down
    below and use the Electric Bolt on a Generator. Doing so will open a door above
    you.
    
            Travel back left along the lower set of platforms, using the Trance
    Stare on the second zombie to get back up to the entrance. Head along the uppet
    set of platforms once more, and hop off onto the ledge at the end this time to
    go past the door where the gate previously blocked you off. Go down for a chest
    with a large Gem inside (381/1400), then use Trance Stare and the platforms to
    go back up and then right to return outside.
    
    
            SECTION THIRTY THREE
    
            Outside, travel right past the zombie, jumping over the large gap. Take
    out the Knight, then leap onto one of the floating tables that comes around.
    
            Eliminate the bottle-throwing servant at the other end, then slowly use
    Down + B to drop down the first set of moving tables. Jump over to the right set
    of floating tables, make your way up, then head over to find a Generator. Go
    down the right end now and exit to the right back into Section Twenty Four.
    
    
            SECTION TWENTY FOUR
    
            Take out the first zombie servant, then leap up and right next to the
    fire for 4 Gems (385/1400). Continue hopping up and right along the small safe
    spots at the edge of each fire until you get up top.
    
            Head up and left and grab the first 3 of four Gems (388/1400). The last
    one is inaccessible for now, but if you have at least two Hearts left on your
    life bar, drop down to your right and run across the fire, entering the keyhole
    door at the end.
    
    
            SECTION THIRTY FIVE
    
            Proceed right and jump up to grab the first 4 Gems in this room
    (392/1400). Continue onto a floating table that goes left and right for another
    2 Gems (394/1400), then onto yet another table with 2 more Gems after that
    (396/1400). Go right, taking out the bottle-throwing servant followed up by a
    skeleton, then head left and up, grabbing a total of 8 more Gems (404/1400). End
    off by opening the chest in the upper-right corner for another large Gem
    (409/1400).
    
            After, exit out, then return all the way left in the castle to where you
    last saw Dracula, Section Twenty Two.
    
    
            SECTION TWENTY TWO
    
            Talk to Dracula and you will be prodded into doing more, you guessed it,
    backtracking. Return to Section Thirty One next.
    
    
            SECTION THIRTY ONE
    
            Head up the stairs and platforms. There was previously a room that you
    could not enter through a large door, but you can now enter it as part of the
    story, so do so once the A button comes up on-screen.
    
    
            SECTION THIRTY SIX
    
            In here, you will have to take on the Wolf Pups once again. This time
    around, you must use the Electric Bolts on the three generators in the room.
    When you use the Electric Bolt on a generator, it will spit out two small bolts
    to the left and right of it. When a Wolf Pup is near it, it shall become shocked
    and drop a piece of clothing. You can then pick it up and present it to Uncle
    Griffin.
    
            The first two Wolf Pups can be taken care of easily enough, though you
    need to make sure to avoid any electricity sent your way from the centre of the
    room where sparks will be occasionally spat out from. For the third Wolf Pup on
    top, however, you need to hit it with a spark once it is on the far right wall
    as the last generator is mounted on the wall. To do so, jump and fire at the
    generator just as the Wolf Pup hops onto the right-most platform from the left
    side.
    
            Afterwards, talk to Uncle Griffin again to pick up the Mist Form
    ability. This is the second-last ability you can learn in the game, and allows
    you to go through locked walls and grates. After, exit outside.

            SECTION THIRTY ONE
    
            Talk to the witch outside. However, instead of going straight down back
    to Section Thirty, head down only a little bit and left to where the Keyhole is
    to your left, and enter the room back to Section Thirty Two.
    
    
            SECTION THIRTY TWO
    
            Proceed right and press the L button to enter your Mist Form and grab
    two Large Gems (419/1400). Afterwards, exit back outside, then head down to the
    ground to return to Section Thirty.
    
    
            SECTION THIRTY
    
            Enter the keyhole room at the top of the stairs.
    
    
            SECTION THIRTY SEVEN
    
            Use Trance Stare on a Knight followed by two Armour pieces and take out
    the zombie servant at the end before pressing down on the button up top to open
    a gate. Head through one of the small grates with your Mist Form (you will not
    yet be able to access the Gems above you) and jump through the open door to come
    to a chest.
    
            Hit the chest to open it for a large Gem (424/1400). Drop down below to
    strike the Dark Knight, then head right and back outside.
    
    
            SECTION THIRTY
    
            Return left several rooms until you hit Section Thirteen, another
    vertical room. While going across the outside bridge you will notice a large
    foot, which you will need to return to shortly.
    
    
            SECTION THIRTEEN
    
            Inside this room, head left and right up a couple of short flights of
    stairs, then Wall Run up two walls, take out a zombie servant, then Wall Run up
    a third segment before hopping off. Go left past the Dark Knight and drop down.
    Use the Mist Form to sneak past the first grate and grab 4 Gems for your efforts
    (428/1400). Go right through the next grate and start dropping down.
    
            Stop at the stairs just below where the Section Twenty Nine access is,
    and use the Mist Form again to access 4 more Gems (432/1400). Exit out, then
    drop back down and head left into Section Six.
    
    
            SECTION SIX
    
            Head left through the section for a while until you see a grate above
    you. Ignore this for now, as you need the last ability before you can grab it.
    Continue left and talk to the brain.
    
            Proceed left past the fire on the floor until you get to the keyhole
    door between two pots, and enter a new section now.
    
    
            SECTION THIRTY EIGHT
    
            Inside, head right and activate Mist Form while over top of the grate.
    Drift around to grab a total of 13 Gems in the air (445/1400) before you finally
    hit the bottom and exit back out into the corridor. Reenter the room, and this
    time veer over to the left side and deactivate Mist Form in front of the chest
    to break it open for a large Gem (450/1400). Go outside through the grate again.
    
    
            SECTION SIX
    
            Head left to the next door and enter.
    
    
            SECTION THIRTY NINE
    
            Break open the chest in here for another large Gem (455/1400) before
    exiting back out into the corridor.
    
    
            SECTION SIX
    
            Continue back right near where the Brain was, and use the Mist Form in
    front of the nearby grate in the floor to drop down a level.
    
    
            SECTION FORTY
    
            Use the Electric Bolt on the first skeleton to your right before taking
    out a zombie servant in red. Drop down and jump up to the right for 4 Gems
    (459/1400).
    
            Continue left after retrieving a Heart if you want, until you see three
    platforms with skeletons on them and another 4 Gems. Ignore trying to use Trance
    Stare to advance your way up, and instead hop on all three platforms to make
    them disappear and drop the skeletons. Once the platforms reappear, jump up to
    the top one, leap off to the right and activate your Mist Form in midair to
    float over and grab the 4 Gems (463/1400).
    
            Drop down to the left from the floor and tackle a large SKeleton before
    using Mist Form again to go through a grate and crack open a treasure chest for
    a large Gem (468/1400). Drop down again further to find some Socks, which is the
    item you need to bring back up to one of the creatures (not the Brain).
    
            Return back up to the top via the use of the Wall Run and some moving
    tables, then head all the way to Section Thirty, which is the outdoor bridge
    room.
    
    
            SECTION THIRTY
    
            Head right and talk to the large foot on the bridge to give its luggage
    back. Return back to Section Forty.
    
    
            SECTION FORTY
    
            Head down the passageway you took earlier until you get to the bottom of
    the Wall Running walls and take out a servant. Carefully go left and hop onto a
    barrel, and go right, while avoiding or eliminating the skeletons and will-o-
    wisps that jump up and down between the barrels.
    
            Once you make it past the disappearing platforms, ignore the big
    skeleton below, and take out the normal-sized one. Use the three moving tables
    to grab another 4 Gems (472/1400). Climb up the barrels to the right (the red-
    tinted one can also be jumped on) and use the Electric Bolt to eliminate a
    zombie servant. Head right and enter the Keyhole room.
    
    
            SECTION FORTY-ONE
    
            Head up the first couple of platforms, using the Trance Stare to flip
    over the spiked platform. Eliminate the zombie servant up top, then use the
    Trance Stare a couple more times to flip spiked platforms. Once you get up to
    the Dark Knight, Trance Stare both it and the platform next to it to get to a
    chest with a large Gem (477/1400).
    
            Drop down a little bit and make your way up to the Dark Knight, and this
    time use the platform to jump straight up. Continue ascending the vertical room
    via a floating table, grabbing 4 more Gems in the process (481/1400). At the
    height of the table's floating, Trance Stare the platform next to you. Take the
    table back up, and quickly hop over to the platform and then up again. Grab
    another floating table going up for 4 more Gems (485/1400) before exiting the
    room at the top.
    
    
            SECTION FORTY
    
            Head back up and left and take out a large Skeleton on the ground to
    press a button to open a gate later on. Head back to where the keyhole was and
    continue left and down. Grab yourself 2 Gems and a large Gem while hopping right
    over a gap (492/1400), then Wall Run up to the top, bypassing the Dullahan. Jump
    off to the far right up top to avoid falling down another large gap.
    
            Continue onwards, using the Electric Bolt to snipe down skeleton and
    zombie enemies from afar so they do not cause damage to you while hopping
    across. Once you hit the stone pillar at the end, drop down to the right side,
    eliminating a Knight temporarily, and head out right to Section Forty Two.
    
    
            SECTION FORTY TWO
    
            Proceed right and up the stairs, then dash left. Use Trance Stare to
    flip the toothed platforms before going up and right, then reversing back left
    to the upper-left corner. Take out the Dark Knight and press down on the button
    to open a gate near the centre of the room.
    
            Return right across the platforms while staying up high in the air.
    Eliminate the bottle-throwing servant from afar with an Electric Bolt. Jump over
    to the platform it formerly inhabited and press Down + B to drop down to a chest
    with a large Gem inside it (497/1400).
    
            Go down the stairs, and right through the gate you previously opened.
    Drop down immediately once going down the next set of stairs, and head right.
    Fall into the section with a button and a Knight to press the button, then Wall
    Run out and continue right. Continue on down, and then left.
    
            Head straight down at the next set of red-tinted walls. Ignore the
    button (as this would be used for when going back to Section Forty from here),
    but do grab the 4 Gems (501/1400). Wall Run back up and continue right, then
    head down the small shaft, taking out enemies as they pop up.
    
            Progress right, and press the button to open gates to your right.
    Afterwards, use Trance Stare on the nearby spiked platform to go up, then walk
    right a little bit to find a Keyhole door. Enter and exit to save your progress
    thus far in this room (you will want the Bat form before actually tackling this
    other room).
    
            Move back to the button and press on it to open the gates again, then go
    down the stairs. Make your way past an annoying number of Skeletons and go down
    past the red-tinted walls at the end to grab 4 Gems from the air (505/1400).
    Continue right past there, eventually Wall Running up some more walls, and
    double back left, taking another 5 Gems (510/1400). Continue left to grab the
    Luggage item, then head up and left and back into the Keyhole Door to once more
    save your progress.
    
            Trudge all the way back up to Section Six.
    
    
            SECTION SIX
    
            Speak with the Brain here to hand over the Luggage, then return back to
    Section Forty Two.
    
    
            SECTION FORTY TWO
    
            Head back to the button at the centre of the room and press it, then
    take either the lower or upper path when going right until they come back
    together. Head up and right along the red-tinted Wall Running segments, and grab
    4 Gems in the upper right corner in an area with lots of bottle-throwing
    servants (514/1400). Finally, head right to the next area.
    
    
            SECTION FORTY THREE
    
            This area is fairly large, and there are a few things in here that
    cannot be gained until you grab the Bat Form. As well, you will want to make use
    of the other exits in this room merely to save your progress.
    
            Hop up the first few platforms and floating tables to start, using the
    Electric Bolt from long range to eliminate the bottle-throwing zombie, then do a
    Wall-Run up the red-tinted wall next to where the zombie was standing. Jump off
    to the left and make your way over to knock out another zombie.
    
            Continue up a table and right a table, taking out another zombie, then
    drop down the long, narrow shaft, grabbing 4 Gems in the process (518/1400).
    Down below, head back left to the table and continue on back up. Head up some
    more, then go left across a floating table and platform to grab 4 Gems from the
    upper left corner (522/1400).
    
            Go back right, taking out a large skeleton, then a smaller skeleton. Get
    by the Armour piece and another skeleton past the Wall Running section. Continue
    right, taking out a zombie before jumping on the table going up, and eliminating
    another Zombie up top.
    
            The order of the tables is fairly longer than a simple up and right, as
    you will have to go up a table, right over a few platforms, up another table,
    reverse back left, and continue on up and right, while making sure not to stay
    on any platform too long.
    
            Once you hop onto solid ground, go and fall down the left side and press
    right against the wall to discover a somewhat hidden passageway underneath. Take
    out a bottle-throwing zombie and large skeleton before going right and falling
    down another shaft to find a chest with a large Gem inside (527/1400). Continue
    right to fall down to the ground floor of the room.
    
            From where you land, head right and Wall Run over to the lower-right
    corner of the room, ignoring the four Gems you cannot yet grab, and take out the
    zombies. Wall Run up against the right wall and onto the moving table, then fall
    down to grab 4 Gems floating in mid-air (531/1400). Go back onto the table, then
    jump up the next two platforms and Wall Run up the left side before jumping up
    at the end. You should be able to grab 2 of the four Gems up there (533/1400)
    but the remaining two require Bat Form.
    
            Afterwards, enter the Keyhole Room.
    
    
            SECTION FORTY FOUR
    
            Go left past the Armour Piece and activate Mist Form to go past the
    grate and deactive the Mist Form to use Electric Bolt on the Generator. This
    will open the door above you. Go back past the grate and past the Knight above,
    and activate Mist Form before crossing the platform so it does not drop you into
    the fires below. Past the gate, continue down the grate in the floor.
    
            Deactivate Mist Form to take out both the Dark Knight and a chest
    containing a large Gem (538/1400). To leave, go into Mist Form once more, going
    through the grate in the floor, then head right for another 4 Gems (542/1400).
    Afterwards, exit out the right or left door back into the main area.
    
    
            SECTION FORTY THREE
    
            Drop down to your right and take out a zombie, then Wall-Run up the
    right side. Head left past the various metallic enemies until you spot a grating
    in the floor. Use the Mist Form to drop down and grab the Matched Luggage, then
    use the Mist Form after you continue down, grabbing 4 more Gems still (546/1400)
    to get past another grate. This area should be familiar to you, so backtrack up.
    
            Once you get upstairs again to where the Knights and Dark Knights and
    Armour Pieces proliferate, head left and Wall Run and jump right off the
    stalacite. Take out a zombie and Trance Stare the spiked platform. Go up the
    left set of stone platforms, taking out a skeleton and zombie, to grab 4 more
    Gems still (550/1400).
    
            Take the right side up next, eliminating both a zombie and skeleton to
    go up into Section Twenty Five.
    
    
            SECTION TWENTY FIVE
    
            When going right in the undersection part of this area, you will locate
    a Slime who will be the last benefactor of your luggage search. After talking to
    him, head left a couple of sections to Section Twenty Three.
    
    
            SECTION TWENTY THREE
    
            Head left until you come to a Keyhole at the base of a door, and enter.
    
    
            SECTION FORTY FIVE
    
            Use the Mist Form and go right through three grates to get a large Gem
    (555/1400). Use the Mist Form again to go down and left for another large Gem
    (560/1400). Proceed left and deactivate Mist Form in the left chamber to grab
    the next large Gem (565/1400). Continue right and out and deactivate your form
    to grab a final large Gem, and open a chest with another large Gem (575/1400).
    Once finished, head back outside.
    
    
            SECTION TWENTY THREE
    
            Head left for a long length until you come to a small crypt with the
    only entrance being a grate. Head in using Mist Form before deactivating and
    open the chest for a large Gem (580/1400).
    
            On getting out, continue left to near the left entrance of the area, and
    use Mist Form up at the top of the stairs to get into another enclosed chamber.
    Eliminate the large skeleton and open the chest for still another large Gem
    (585/1400). Afterwards, head west into Section Fourteen.
    
    
            SECTION FOURTEEN
    
            Make your way up to the right wall and Wall Run up and jump off onto a
    platform to your left. Continue on left until you get to the relative centre of
    the room, and use the Mist Form to slip past a grate for a chest with a large
    Gem and 4 regular Gems (594/1400). Once done, continue left several rooms to
    Section Four.
    
    
            SECTION FOUR
    
            Head up a few stairwells until you spot a locked grate with four Gems
    behind it. Use Mist Form to claim the 4 Gems (598/1400), then return to the
    ground floor and head left a room to Section Two.
    
    
            SECTION TWO
    
            Enter the keyhole door at the right end of this room.
    
    
            SECTION THREE
    
            In here is a long vertical shaft with several arachnids that you can
    only scale by prodigious use of the Wall Running technique. When you spot a
    spider above you, leap off and then reverse directions again to land on top of
    it, and repeat several times to clear the walls. Going up, you should first get
    9 regular Gems (607/1400), followed by a platform with a large Gem (612/1400).
    Exit back outside once you are finished in here.
    
    
            SECTION TWO
    
            Head onto the middle stairs and jump up to the left. Loop around past
    the Armoured Piece and Wall Run before jumping off left onto the platforms to
    grab 4 Gems (616/1400). Wall Run up again and jump over to the right side,
    freefalling down while claiming 4 more Gems (620/1400).
    
            This is all that can be done in here still, so drop down to the ground
    floor and head left to Section One.
    
    
            SECTION ONE
    
            Go straight left and use Trance Stare on the Armoured Piece standing on
    the platform. Hop off the petrified figure to where a chest is to break it open
    for a large Gem (625/1400).
    
            With Gems in hand, loop around the right wall, up and left and drop down
    into the relative centre of the room until you find a Hydra standing on the
    ground. Talk to it to drop off the mixed luggage, then enter the grate slightly
    right and below of the Hydra using the Mist Form.
    
    
            SECTION FORTY SIX
    
            Take the first table down, and eliminate a zombie to your left. Take the
    next table giong right and jump to grab 4 Gems (629/1400). Slowly drop down the
    platforms to your right, eliminate another zombie and enter the keyhole room.
    
    
            SECTION FORTY SEVEN
    
            Eliminate the bottle-throwing zombie at the bottom before you start Wall
    Running up. Make use of several jumps, and clear out arachnids ahead of time by
    jumping just prior to one and then reversing directions to land on top of it, so
    you do not take damage from running or jumping into them.
    
            In your journey going up, which will also include spots of fire (and you
    may end up taking some damage from the fire), you should collect a total of 19
    Gems (648/1400). When going down, activate Mist Form to make sure you grab all 6
    Gems heading down the shaft (654/1400), and then break open the chest for a
    large Gem (659/1400).
    
            Return back up a third, shorter shaft, killing some more arachnids and
    grabbing a total of 6 remaining Gems (665/1400). Exit outside once finished.
    
    
            SECTION FORTY SIX
    
            Proceed left on exiting to grab 4 Gems from the air while moving around
    on the tables (669/1400). Drop down to your right side to solid ground, then
    follow the platforms up and left onto a floating table, and then onto another
    floating table that shall take you down to a zombie servant and a chest with a
    large Gem inside (674/1400).
    
            Take another two pairs of moving tables right and down, left and down,
    then right again over a gap to hop off onto solid ground. Continue into Section
    Forty Eight.
    
    
            SECTION FORTY EIGHT
    
            Drop down to the right two times in a row to take out two red-suited
    zombie servants, then leap over the gap while avoiding a will-o-wisp to come to
    a chest that contains a large Gem (679/1400). Leap to the right and take the
    table going left and right, then jump onto the table following that. Hop below
    to the right onto solid ground and enter the keyhole room.
    
    
            SECTION FORTY NINE
    
            Proceed right from the start and Wall Run up, reversing left and right
    until you get to solid ground for the first time, grabbing 10 Gems to start
    (689/1400). When going up, you can claim another 3 Gems thereafter (692/1400).
    
            Take the three tables going over left, then Wall Run the next shaft up,
    claiming a total of 11 Gems before making a long jump to the right over some
    fire (703/1400). Tackle the large Skeleton below, then Wall Run some more,
    jumping multiple times to avoid fire and arachnids, taking another 16 Gems in
    the climb (719/1400). Once you get to safe ground, open the chest for a final
    large Gem (724/1400), then exit right back out doors.
    
    
            SECTION FORTY EIGHT
    
            Make a large jump to the right, and grab 5 Gems as the table takes you
    up (729/1400). Continue on right and past two Knights. Wall Run and jump onto a
    moving table while avoiding fire from a bottle-throwing zombie, then destroy it
    when going left. Wall Run up and off to your right, then head up a few
    dissolving platforms and onto another moving table.
    
            It may be easier to just take damage from the spiked platform by Wall
    Running up and hopping over left, as you get a spare heart in the process with 4
    Gems (733/1400). Otherwise, Trance Stare it to flip it over prior to Wall
    Running, then continue left once you have your gems. Destroy multiple skeletons
    going left to claim the Gooey Luggage.
    
            From here, you will want to return up to Section One (making use of the
    Keyhole Room Section Forty Nine to save your status as having the Gooey Luggage
    in possession), then head east all the way to Section Twenty Five.
    
    
            SECTION TWENTY FIVE
    
            Once you get past the early section, use the Mist Form at the grate to
    drop into the lower section, then continue right and talk to the slime, Steve,
    to drop off the Gooey Luggage. Use Mist Form once more over the grate that shall
    take you down to Section Forty Three.
    
    
            SECTION FORTY THREE
    
            Head down and west all the way to the western end of the room, but do
    not take the moving tables or anything. Instead, head right along the top
    section of the area, and drop down at the first chance you get to come to a room
    with a button. Ignore the button for now, and head inside the nearby door by
    pressing A.
    
    
            SECTION FIFTY
    
            Inside, you get to play a final 'battle' against Dracula, who will
    transform into a Bat. The first few hits you can deal to him will involve him
    floating up and down the sides. After that, he will swoop from one side to the
    other, going down to the centre middle platform before going back up.
    
            After taking three more hits, Dracula will continue to swoop, but then
    immediately change directions, damaging you if you do not strike him the first
    time by hopping onto him.
    
            When you defeat Dracula, you will get the Bat Form. You need to press R
    to morph into the Bat Form, and then you can go straight up. The Bat Form has a
    time limit, so make sure to stop on one of the two ledges on the way before
    morphing again and exiting back outside.

            SECTION FORTY THREE
    
            Press down on the button once you exit outside, then talk to the Mummy.
    Continue right, using the Electric Bolt to take out the Armour piece temporarily
    and dealing with the rest of the enemies as normal. Wall Run up the red-tinted
    wall at the end for 4 Gems (737/1400) before dropping down below.
    
            From where you land, head right a little bit until you get to the red-
    tinted Wall Run part. Use the Bat Form to go straight up and take 4 more Gems
    (741/1400). Proceed on right, then scale the room until you get to where the
    Keyhole door is located. Use the Bat Form to grab the last 2 Gems up here
    (743/1400), then enter and exit the Keyhole door to save your progress.
    
            After, continue on up to Section Twenty Five.
    
    
            SECTION TWENTY FIVE
    
            Head right to Section Twenty Seven.
    
    
            SECTION TWENTY SEVEN
    
            Wall Run up the left wall and jump off, morphing into Mist Form to enter
    the grate. Grab 4 Gems to start while tackling the Skeletons (747/1400) before
    breaking open the chest for a large Gem (752/1400).
    
            Up top, use Bat Form to go up the left side, and use an Electric Bolt on
    the Generator to open the gate above. Head right and use the Bat Form again to
    get up, then head left through the now open gate before going up again via use
    of the Bat Form.
    
            Wall Run up a ways using the red-tinted walls to your right before
    jumping off up top, taking out a few Dark Knights. Use Bat Form to go up to the
    very top of the bell tower, grabbing a large Gem from the chest to the right
    (757/1400).
    
            Drop back down, avoiding the fire, and go left and down. Take out a few
    enemies before going down the shaft, and eliminate a skeleton down below to grab
    a final 4 Gems (761/1400).
    
            Return around the bell tower labyrinth until you get back across the
    gate you opened earlier, and you should notice a Keyhole door in the centre of
    an enclosed chamber. Use the Mist Form to get into the chamber and then enter.
    
    
            SECTION FIFTY ONE
    
            Press the button in front of you to open a gate further up, then morph
    into Bat Form to head up, grabbing 6 Gems to start (767/1400) before changing
    back and dropping on top of an Armour Piece. Open the chest for a large Gem
    (772/1400), then morph again into a Bat to continue up.
    
            In Bat form, sneak into the small space to the right, and quickly
    eliminate the large skeleton before opening the chest for another large Gem
    (777/1400), and then using the Electric Bolt on the Generator. This will open a
    door at the bottom of the room. Return back down to the ground floor, then head
    left. Open the chest for a final large Gem (782/1400), then exit out left.
    
            Once outside, head west two rooms to Section Twenty Four.
    
    
            SECTION TWENTY FOUR
    
            Hop onto the ledge at the right exit upon coming in. Jump up and at the
    zenith of your jump, morph into a Bat and then go straight up, grabbing all 4
    Gems before your transformation runs out (786/1400).
    
            Once finished there, go and use the Bat Form to get onto the right-most
    floating table. Use the Bat Form again to go up to the top and down to your left
    side. Skip past the Knight, then head left until you get to the Section Thirty
    Three entrance. Head up right across the various fires, then continue up and
    left. Use Mist Form to go through a few grates and change back to drop on top of
    a chest and open it for a large Gem (791/1400).
    
            Proceed back upstairs and to the left side, and activate Bat Form
    multiple times to fly up, right, and up again to the top of the tower,
    collecting a total of 11 more Gems (802/1400). Once done, move back down to
    where all the fire is, and swoop down and left and take the entrance into
    Section Thirty Three.
    
    
            SECTION THIRTY THREE
    
            Head west until you find the Keyhole Door near the left entrance of the
    room, and enter Section Thirty Four.
    
    
            SECTION THIRTY FOUR
    
            Use the Bat Form to grab 4 Gems right above the entrance here
    (806/1400). Afterwards, exit right back out.
    
    
            SECTION THIRTY THREE
    
            Continue west to the left entrance of the room, and morph into a Bat to
    float up and grab another 4 Gems (810/1400). Drop down and head out to Section
    Thirty.
    
    
            SECTION THIRTY
    
            Take the Keyhole door on the staircase here to go into Section Thirty
    Seven.
    
    
            SECTION THIRTY SEVEN
    
            Head to the upper left corner and press the button to open the gate on
    the opposite side of the room, then use the Mist Form to get through either of
    the grates barring access through the wall. Use Bat Form once you get past the
    wall to grab the 4 Gems up top (814/1400), then exit outside. From there,
    proceed west to Section Twenty Nine.
    
    
            SECTION TWENTY NINE
    
            Stop at the first Dark Knight in here, then use your Bat Form to fly up.
    Take out the bottle-throwing red-cloaked zombie servant from afar with an
    Electric Bolt, then use the Mist Form to sneak through the grate it was guarding
    to obtain 4 Gems from an enclosed area with a skeleton (818/1400). Head back
    outside the grate, then continue going up, first grabbing a large Gem
    (823/1400), then turning into mist and going through a grate past a Dark Knight
    for 2 gems and another large Gem (830/1400).
    
            Continue heading up the left side, taking out another zombie and a large
    Skeleton, then use Bat Form again to scale the tower. Use the Mist Form over top
    of a grate in the floor and transform back to normal to grab 4 more Gems
    (834/1400).
    
            Make your way back up again to the top of the grate, then continue
    working your way up and right to a red-tinted wall. Wall Run up and jump off,
    grabbing 4 Gems to start (838/1400), then Wall Run up again, leap off at the
    top, and morph into a Bat. Quickly head left, up and around to the very top of
    the building before your transformation runs out, then head right and talk to
    the Witch.
    
            Move back left and change into Mist Form before dropping off the side,
    and press against the first grate and then through a second grate to come to a
    Keyhole Door. Enter.
    
    
            SECTION FIFTY THREE
    
            Morph into a Bat at the start of the room and go straight up to find 4
    Gems and collect them (842/1400). After, drop down and head right across the
    multiple platforms, taking out several enemies until you get 3 regular Gems and
    a large Gem (850/1400).
    
            Proceed along the course, grabbing another 3 Gems (853/1400), followed
    up by 3 Gems and a large Gem thereafter (861/1400). Continue on right until you
    hit the right entrance to the room. Morph into a bat and fly up for a final 4
    Gems (865/1400), before changing back and exiting outside.
    
    
            SECTION TWENTY NINE
    
            Head down to your right to grab 4 small Gems, before opening the chest
    for a large Gem (874/1400). Use the Mist Form to exit out the grate. Continue
    down the room a short ways. Where the Wall Running wall you used earlier is to
    the right, go left from there and head out into the top floor of Section
    Thirteen.
    
    
            SECTION THIRTEEN
    
            You will come out onto the top floor of this room, which you cannot
    access from the rest of the room below, only coming in from the side. Open the
    first chest you spot after taking out a large Skeleton for a big Gem (879/1400).
    Proceed west into the top of the five west corridors next, Section Fifty Four.
    
    
            SECTION FIFTY FOUR
    
            Head west for a little bit until you come to a large doorway in the
    background and enter.
    
    
            SECTION FIFTY FIVE
    
            Go left and open the chest for a large Gem (884/1400), then exit back
    outside.
    
    
            SECTION FIFTY FOUR
    
            Continue going west outside until you come to a bottle-throwing zombie
    servant. Past the zombie, hop onto the platform, activate Mist form, and go past
    the grate. Deactivate your Mist form and take the 4 Gems up here (888/1400),
    then enter the Keyhole door.
    
    
            SECTION FIFTY SIX
    
            Wall Run up for a while, grabbing 10 Gems from out of the air
    (898/1400), and hop off at a ledge to the left, defeating a skeleton to claim a
    large Gem from a chest (903/1400). Continue Wall Running up, taking 6 more small
    Gems in the process (909/1400) before hopping off at the top and changing into
    Mist form to get past the grate. Break open the chest for a large Gem
    (914/1400), before heading west and back outdoors.
    
    
            SECTION FIFTY FOUR
    
            Exit out from the grates and back down to the ground floor, then head
    left and Wall Run up to take 4 Gems (918/1400). Continue walking left, defeating
    a few more enemies, and jump past the two Skeletons hanging out underneath
    another 4-set of Gems and a chest with a large Gem inside of it (927/1400).
    
            Back on the ground again, continue left, staying low until you get to a
    dead end with a skeleton and another 4 Gems (931/1400). Move back a little bit,
    then head up and continue going left into Section Twenty Two.
    
    
            SECTION TWENTY TWO
    
            Move down a little bit down the room and push against the right wall to
    locate a Keyhole room next to a torch. Enter here.
    
    
            SECTION FIFTY SEVEN
    
            Use the Bat Form inside to fly up to the top grate, then use your Mist
    Form to fly out past it and past the fires on the ground before disabling the
    Armor Piece. Change back to normal and use the Electric Bolt on the generator to
    your left to cause a gate to open up above.
    
            Through a combination of Bat Form, Wall Running and Mist Form, get up to
    the top of the room and head right, then use Mist Form again to float down,
    collecting a total of 8 Gems (939/1400) and a large Gem from a chest (944/1400).
    Use the Mist Form once again to be able to exit back outside.
    
    
            SECTION TWENTY TWO
    
            Head up to the very top of the room via judicious usage of the Bat form
    and eliminate the bottle-throwing zombie on the right corridor. Shoot an
    Electric Bolt at the Generator to your left to open the doors going out to the
    top two corridors to your right. Drop down and take the lower of the two gates
    out into Section Fifty Eight.
    
    
            SECTION FIFTY EIGHT
    
            Enter the very first door that you see at the start of the corridor.
    
    
            SECTION FIFTY NINE
    
            Break open the chest in here for a large Gem (949/1400) before leaving.
    
    
            SECTION FIFTY EIGHT
    
            Make your way over the gap onto the platform, and then continue along
    until you locate 3 Gems hanging out on small platforms above a door (952/1400).
    When you have the Gems in hand, drop down and enter the door.
    
    
            SECTION SIXTY
    
            Open the chest in here for a large Gem (957/1400) before leaving.
    
    
            SECTION FIFTY EIGHT
    
            Proceed right again, picking up 3 more Gems from above (960/1400) before
    taking a large Gem from a chest on the ground (965/1400). Continue right,
    tackling a large Skeleton on the large floor, grabbing 4 Gems where it was
    walking around (969/1400) and then entering the door.
    
    
            SECTION SIXTY ONE
    
            Use the Bat Form to bypass both the Armour piece and the Dullahan
    wandering around, and go up and right before using the Mist Form to float down.
    Press the button to activate a gate above, and open the chest for a large Gem
    (974/1400) before exiting out again through use of the Mist Form. Either exit
    will work to leave the room.
    
    
            SECTION FIFTY EIGHT
    
            Head right and enter the last door in this corridor.
    
    
            SECTION SIXTY TWO
    
            Open the large chest in here for a large Gem (979/1400) before exiting
    out.
    
    
            SECTION FIFTY EIGHT
    
            Double back and head west through the corridor until you get to the
    stairs leading up and down, and proceed down to Section Eighteen.
    
    
            SECTION EIGHTEEN
    
            From where you come into the room from, drop down and head left along
    the ground floor, avoiding some fire along the way, and slip in between two
    grates through use of the Mist form to grab 3 Gems (982/1400).
    
            Back out, and head right down the corridor for an extensive period of
    time until you come to another 3 Gems between two grates (985/1400). Morph into
    a Bat and fly up to the ceiling, change back into human form and quickly change
    into Mist Form to enter the enclosed space with a chest containing a large Gem
    inside (990/1400).
    
            Exit from up top, then go and enter the Keyhole door to the left of
    where you earlier got the regular-sized gems, going back into Section Nineteen.
    
    
            SECTION NINETEEN
    
            Walk east and hop up to the top ledge going right. Walk around and
    ignore the Generator at the end, and instead use Bat Form to go up the shaft,
    around the fire and then back down, collecting a total of 14 Gems in the process
    (1004/1400).
    
            Move back around to where the Generator is, and use the Electric Bolt on
    it to cause two doors to open. Head west over to where one of the doors was
    opened up and use Wall Running to head up the red-tinted walls, grabbing 9 Gems
    (1013/1400) and killing a Dullahan enemy up top.
    
            Once you have tackled the Knight below, use the Electric Bolt again on
    another generator to open one of the two remaining doors to the lower east.
    Continue along the path you have been going to come to a chest down below which
    contains a large Gem (1018/1400), then use the Mist Form to go down to the
    ground floor again.
    
            Head east and go up the middle of the room, and right a bit (you should
    see the spiked platform just below you). Wall Run up this section or use the Bat
    Form to go up to a third Generator. Use the Electric Bolt on it to finish
    unlocked the door to the lower east corner of the room. Exit back outside.
    
    
            SECTION EIGHTEEN
    
            Walk west to where the stairwells going up and down are located, and
    head down to Section Ten.
    
    
            SECTION TEN
    
            Head right from where you come in and enter the nearby Keyhole door.
    
    
            SECTION SIXTY TWO
    
            Eliminate the large Skeleton and the other smattering of enemies as you
    go right, then transform into a Bat to fly up past the Knight and into the
    northeast corner of the room. Eliminate the Dark Knight temporarily and use an
    Electric Bolt on the Generator to open a gate to your west.
    
            Take to Bat Form again to fly through the now-open gate, and drop off at
    the start to open a chest for a large Gem (1023/1400). Wall Jump over the
    bottle-throwing servant, taking it out in the same instance, to press a button
    (nothing should happen for the moment). Go back up and right to where the grates
    are in the wall around another patrolling Dark Knight, and use Mist Form to drop
    down below.
    
            Press a second button to open the two remaining gates blocking another
    hallway to your west. Wall Run up the right wall and use Mist Form up top to
    exit out a grate, then head left and open the chest for a second large Gem
    (1028/1400). Finally, exit the area through either the top or bottom exits.
    
    
            SECTION TEN
    
            Back outside, head right to the end of the corridor, and morph into a
    Bat. Go up to grab 4 Gems (1032/1400). Once done, head west all the way to
    Section Four, and then into Section Two.
    
    
            SECTION TWO
    
            Go to the middle platform and hop off up to your right, and eliminate
    the zombie servants as you head that way. Use the Bat Form first to access a
    large Gem from a chest (1037/1400), then use your Bat Form once more to climb up
    and access 4 Gems (1041/1400) before dropping down up top.
    
            Wall Run up further still to grab another 6 Gems in combination with the
    Bat Form (1047/1400), then head to the upper right corner of the room to locate
    a chest with a large Gem inside of it (1052/1400). Fly over left a bit towards
    the west wall and drop down to find another chest with another large Gem inside
    (1057/1400).
    
            Proceed right and fly over the fire in Bat Form again, and loop around
    to underneath the floor you were just walking on to head left and up for 4 Gems
    in the air (1061/1400).
    
            Move back further down the room, then go left to locate an exit going to
    the top passageway to the left. Head into Section Sixty Three.
    
    
            SECTION SIXTY THREE
    
            Tackle the various Knights, zombies and the Dark Knight in this area
    going left, until you come to the first chest with a large Gem inside
    (1066/1400). Enter a Keyhole Room shortly thereafter.
    
    
            SECTION SIXTY FOUR
    
            Drop down at the start to open a chest with a large Gem inside of it
    (1071/1400), then fly as a Bat to the upper left corner. Let the platforms
    dissolve in turn while standing on them to send you down, grabbing 4 Gems in the
    process (1075/1400). Eliminate a pair of Skeletons and a Dark Knight below to
    make your way up and left, then drop down some more platforms, executing a few
    zombies on the way down.
    
            Change into Mist Form just before the last platform with fire beneath it
    and head out the left grate, grabbing 4 Gems as you go down (1079/1400). Change
    back to dissolve a final platform, and you will fall down a long shaft to come
    to a chest with a large Gem below (1084/1400).
    
            Exit outside once done.
    
    
            SECTION SIXTY THREE
    
            From here, head back to Section Two, then down and left into Section
    One.
    
    
            SECTION ONE
    
            Head west all the way to where the grate is in the floor that could take
    you down to Section Forty Six. Ignore the grates, and instead enter the Keyhole
    Door right above it to Section Sixty Five.
    
    
            SECTION SIXTY FIVE
    
            Use your Bat Form to fly up and grab the first 4 Gems in this area
    (1088/1400). After dealing with a Skeleton enemy, Fly up again to grab 4 more
    Gems before stopping shy of multiple Spiked platforms (1092/1400). Use Trance
    Stare on a couple of spiked platforms to get a foothold before using the Bat
    Form to go up to the top of the room, claiming another 6 Gems (1098/1400),
    before dropping down onto a chest with a large Gem inside (1103/1400).
    
            From there, head east, dealing with a few Skeletons on the way before
    exiting back outdoors.
    
    
            SECTION ONE
    
            Head west and out into the front gates Section Four.
    
    
            FRONT GATES SECTION FOUR
    
            Use the Mist Form right over top of the grate at the right exit to go
    down, collecting multiple Gems. Once you hit the bottom, transform into a Bat to
    swoop up and grab several more Gems, bringing your total in the area collected
    up to 18 (1121/1400). Head to the west side of the area and change into a Bat
    again, and fly up into a small crevice with a chest containing a large Gem
    (1126/1400). Drop back down and head west along the ground to Section Three.
    
    
            FRONT GATES SECTION THREE
    
            Head west to the opposite end of the area, and climb the branches of the
    tree. At the top, use the Bat Form to transform and grab 4 Gems from up top
    (1130/1400). Drop down after and continue west to Section Two.
    
    
            FRONT GATES SECTION TWO
    
            From where you come in from, turn into a Bat and fly up to grab a large
    Gem (1135/1400). After, head west to the left end of the room, and use your Bat
    Form to fly up into the sky and locate a second large Gem (1140/1400). Exit out
    into Section One next.
    
    
            FRONT GATES SECTION ONE
    
            At the east end, where you enter from, turn into a Bat and fly up for a
    large Gem (1145/1400). Continue west all the way to the very beginning, where
    you started the game at, and use the Bat Form again to fly up over the Shrunken
    Head and find another large Gem (1150/1400). After, head all the way back to the
    Castle area Section One.
    
    
            SECTION ONE
    
            Continue east three rooms into Section Six, the bottom of the five
    corridors.
    
    
            SECTION SIX
    
            Proceed east until you see an overhead grate barring off access to a
    large chest. You can now access the grate by first getting up there through use
    of the Bat form, following it up with Mist Form to bypass the grate and open the
    chest for a large Gem (1155/1400).
    
            Afterwards, go back down to the ground floor, and head left until you
    find the grate that will allow you access down to Section Forty.
    
    
            SECTION FORTY
    
            Walk down the room until you get to the large Skeleton tucked away
    between some barrels. Defeat it to press the button, opening a gate to allow you
    to pass further. Once you get by the gate, transform into a Bat to fly right
    above to locate 4 Gems (1159/1400). From there, head all the way east and into
    Section Forty Two.
    
    
            SECTION FORTY TWO
    
            Press the button in the top left corner of the room, then head along and
    press another button in the enclosed Wall-Running space next to a Knight to open
    another gate further along. Head past the second opened gate and use the Bat
    Form to fly up and grab 4 Gems (1163/1400). Travel up and right from there and
    enter the Keyhole Door.
    
    
            SECTION SIXTY SIX
    
            Use the Bat Form in this room to first travel straight up, grabbing 4
    Gems to start (1167/1400) followed by a large Gem from a chest (1172/1400). Go
    back down a little bit to the platforms, then fly left and over fires and a
    large gap, grabbing 4 more Gems (1176/1400), topped off with a large Gem from a
    chest (1181/1400). Exit the room from the west exit once finished.
    
    
            SECTION FORTY TWO
    
            Head over to Section Forty Three, up to Section Twenty Five, and then
    west to Section Twenty Four from here.
    
    
            SECTION TWENTY FOUR
    
            Morph into a Bat again, and hop onto the right-most table going up and
    down. Use it as a vantage point to change into a Bat again and fly around the
    room until you get to the top of the clocktower area, and talk to the Gremlin up
    here. After, head back down to the ground floor, and out east to Section Twenty
    Five.
    
    
            SECTION TWENTY FIVE
    
            Move all the way to the east end of the area, and use the Bat Form to
    fly up and grab 4 Gems (1185/1400). After, drop down and head into Section
    Twenty Seven.
    
    
            SECTION TWENTY SEVEN
    
            Fly up in Bat Form, making sure to use an Electric Bolt on the one
    generator in order to open a gate. Further up at the top of the bell tower, talk
    to the Gremlin here, then head west all the way to Section Two.
    
    
            SECTION TWO
    
            Use the Bat Form to climb your way up the Hotel Lobby area until you get
    to the very top, then talk to the Wolf Pup to make another item trade. Once
    done, drop down, head all the way east to Section Twenty Five, and use the grate
    in the underground section to go down to Section Forty Three.
    
    
            SECTION FORTY THREE
    
            In here, head all the way west and drop down the shaft on the top floor
    of the west end of the room, where you would have gone prior to meet Dracula.
    Head right and talk to the Mummy to finally drop off your item. Go back up to
    Section Twenty Five next, and head all the way west to Section Two.
    
    
            SECTION TWO
    
            Take the pillar in the middle of the room to jump up to the left side,
    then use the Bat Form to fly up past a few platforms and drop yourself off at
    the corridor to Section Sixty Three. Enter.
    
    
            !!!COPY YOUR SAVE FILE!!!
    
            There is a known glitch where if you enter the kitchen to fight
    Quasimodo, when you attempt to load your save file up after finishing the game,
    it will give you an error message. If you do not have 1185/1400 Gems at this
    point and want to do a complete 1400/1400 file, you should duplicate a save
    file.
    
    
            SECTION SIXTY THREE
    
            Head to the west end of the hallway and enter the big door into Section
    Sixty Seven.
    
    
            SECTION SIXTY SEVEN
    
            After a brief cutscene, you get to fight Quasimodo. Start by using an
    Electric Bolt on him, then jump on him once when he is hopping left and right to
    trigger him flying up to the top of the room.
    
            During this short stage, flames will come out of the walls, directed at
    Mazy. Follow Quasimodo through use of your Bat form, then use the Mist Form to
    escape to the grates once you have flames closing in on him to damage him again.
    
            Quasimodo will go back down, and you will have to repeat this three-step
    stage of Electric Bolt, Jump, Fireballs twice more. After the third time, drop
    down to the bottom and confront him for a final cutscene.

    [BONL]
    
    
            To access the bonus levels, go to 'EXTRAS' in the save file selection
    screen. Items 1 through 10 are the Bonus Levels.
    
            BONUS LEVEL ONE
    
            This area requires good use of your Bat Form to land on very narrow
    pillar blocks after your time runs out following each transformation. The first
    two runs you should be comfortable, but do not go out of your way if you miss a
    Gem on the third flight, and instead double back after falling on the next
    pillar. You should accumulate 14 Gems to start (1199/1400).
    
            At the third pillar, change into a Bat and go DOWN and right, grabbing 4
    Gems (1203/1400), before opening a chest for a large Gem (1208/1400). Go back up
    to the pillar, then head up and right, grabbing a final 5 Gems (1213/1400) to
    wrap up the Bonus Level.
    
    
            BONUS LEVEL TWO
    
            Head right after tackling the Knight and Wall Run up the first short
    section, grabbing 2 Gems to start (1215/1400). Wall Run up a longer segment of
    wall, making several hops and avoiding arachnid enemies, to grab another 9 Gems
    (1224/1400) before eliminating the Dullahan servant up top.
    
            Drop down the left side and use Trance Stare on the Dark Knight to go
    up. Eliminate the bottle-throwing zombie, then Wall Run up a very long section
    of shaft, killing spiders and grabbing 14 Gems in total (1238/1400). When you
    run out of red-tinted wall segment, jump off and morph into a Bat to go up the
    rest of the way. With all the Gems on the right side of the wall, press L to
    morph directly from a Bat to Mist Form and go through the grate.
    
            Fall down past the grate for 4 normal Gems (1242/1400) and break open a
    chest for a large Gem (1247/1400). Wall Run up and eliminate a couple of normal
    dullahan servants, then head right and exit out to wrap up the level.
    
    
            BONUS LEVEL THREE
    
            Take out a skeleton and zombie right away before changing into a Bat,
    then fly up to the grate and change directly into Mist Form. Quickly move right,
    grabbing 3 Gems in the air (1250/1400) before landing on a platform with a chest
    containing a large Gem (1255/1400). Hop up some platforms before leaping off and
    activating Mist Form to go down and right, taking another 7 Gems (1262/1400)
    before landing on top of another chest with a large Gem (1267/1400). Continue
    right to finish the level.
    
    
            BONUS LEVEL FOUR
    
            Head right and stun the Knight, then open multiple gates by stepping
    down on the button. Hop up and onto the moving table, then go through the right
    opening. Tackle a zombie right away before going up the spiked platforms through
    use of the Trance Stare, then proceed right and drop down, eliminatnig another
    zombie down below.
    
            Open the chest for a large Gem (1272/1400), then use an Electric Bolt on
    the generator. Wall Run back up and head to the centre of the room. Move to the
    left side this time, taking out a Dark Knight before Wall Running up and leaping
    onto the moving table. Use Mist Form to get past the next grate before going up
    another table.
    
            Jump off to your right and open the chest for a large Gem (1277/1400),
    then use the Electric Bolt on the second generator to open the last door below
    and to the right. Use the Mist Form to drop down, then head right to open a
    final chest for a third large Gem (1282/1400). Exit out the level.
    
    
            BONUS LEVEL FIVE
    
            Eliminate the first zombie to your right before stepping down on the
    button to open the gates at the top of the level. Loop around a couple of
    corridors, taking out a few more enemies, including some Skeletons, before
    beginning to Wall Run up the level. You will encounter several arachnids along
    the way, so you may want to make killing them your first priority as you will
    likely slide back down multiple times.
    
            By the time you get to the top of the long vertical shaft, you should
    have obtained 20 Gems in total (1302/1400). At the top, your reward will be a
    large Gem from a chest (1307/1400).
    
    
            BONUS LEVEL SIX
    
            Bounce off the heads of a few zombies to clear out the ground floor,
    then head up and stun the Knight. Jump up and use your Bat Form to swoop through
    the sky, grabbing a total of 11 Gems hanging in the air (1318/1400). Transform
    again and head back up and left over the ledge, eliminating a large Skeleton.
    Open the chest for a final large Gem (1323/1400) before leaving.
    
    
            BONUS LEVEL SEVEN
    
            Press the button inside to open the gates at the chamber at the very
    bottom of this level. Quickly Wall Run or use the Bat Transformation to get over
    the first ledge for 4 Gems (1327/1400), then repeat Wall Running over two more
    ledges to grab another 8 Gems (1335/1400) before hitting the bottom of the
    level. Head right once you get down below into the small chamber and take
    another 4 Gems (1339/1400), then press the button to open the chamber above (if
    you do not get here fast enough and the gate closes, simply return back up top
    and press the button again).
    
            Head up to the top of the area again via Wall Running and your Bat
    transformation. Open the chest in the enclosed room for a large Gem (1344/1400),
    then exit.
    
    
            BONUS LEVEL EIGHT
    
            Go right and Wall Run up the shaft at the start of the level, taking a
    total of 16 Gems from the shaft itself (1360/1400). Jump off above the fire, and
    quickly turn into Mist form, pressing right while grabbing 3 more Gems
    (1363/1400). Keep going in Mist Form until you either spot the right wall or
    fire below you, then press R to change directly into a Bat. Travel up to find a
    grate in the wall and change back into Mist form while pressing against it to
    get past the grate.
    
            Change back into normal, then go right and up. Use the Electric Bolt on
    the top generator, then the middle generator and finally the lower generator to
    open the exit and a gate leading to a chest with a large Gem inside (1368/1400).
    Exit the level once completed.
    
    
            BONUS LEVEL NINE
    
            Tackle a zombie and a pair of skeletons to hop up to the top vertical
    shaft. Start scaling the shaft using Wall Running, grabbing a total of 7 Gems
    (1375/1400) while jumping off to the left. Transform into a Bat and fly around
    the fires left, up and right to a chest with a large Gem inside (1380/1400).
    Exit out the left side to wrap this level up.
    
    
            BONUS LEVEL TEN
    
            Press the button at the start of the level to open the first gate up
    above you, then start going up, eliminating several zombie enemies along the
    way, until you get past the first gate. Use the Electric Bolt on the generator
    to open up the next gate.
    
            Head up the level, being sure to hop off to press down on a button, then
    continue going up, grabbing a total of 6 Gems by the time you hit the top of the
    level (1386/1400). Freefall down the left side, grabbing 9 more Gems
    (1395/1400), before finally breaking your fall with a chest containing the last
    large Gem of the game (1400/1400). Exit out the left or use Mist Form to get
    through the two grates to the right to finally wrap up your Gem collection
    quest.

            Hotel Transylvania is a fairly fluid, but incredibly short platformer
    with lots of backtracking, developed by WayForward. There is little gimmick to
    the game, making it pure platformer, and also very little in the way of boss
    fights.
    
    
    Controls
    --------
    A - Talk
      (Hold) - Walk forward
    
    B - Jump
    
    Y - Trance Stare
    
    X - Electric Bolt
    
    L - Mist Transform
    
    R - Bat Transform
    
    Left/Right - Move left and right
    
    Up/Down - Move the Camera around slightly (must be standing still)
    
    
    Jumping
    -------
            By pressing the B button, Mavis can jump, going from lower sections to
    higher sections. By hopping on enemies, you can take them out (some temporarily,
    some permanently), and Jumping is one of only two techniques in the game that
    can eliminate a foe.
    
    
    Trance Stare
    ------------
            The first of five abilities you receive. When you use Trance Stare on an
    enemy, it paralyses the enemy, stopping it where it stands. You can then jump
    onto that enemy's head and use it to jump up to somewhere higher that you could
    not have cleared with a regular jump.
    
    
    Wall Run
    --------
            When you come to walls that are tinted red, run at them and Mavis will
    run up the wall. Many sections have two or more segments of red-tinted walls in
    a row. To leap from one section to another, press and hold the control pad in
    the direction you wish to jump before pressing the B button to hop off and land
    onto the next red-tinted wall.
    
    
    Electric Bolts
    --------------
            By pressing the X button, Mavis can shoot an electric bolt ahead of her
    at a straight angle. However, it takes her quite a bit of warm-up time to fire
    it. Electric Bolts are the second of two ways to eliminate an enemy, after
    jumping on them. They can also be used to power a Generator.
    
    
    Mist Transform
    --------------
            The penultimate technique that you can learn, by changing into Mist with
    the L button you can turn into Mist. This allows you to slip through gratings in
    the floor and walls, bypassing otherwise solid walls and going to other rooms
    entirely. You can also press the R button to transform directly into a Bat
    without needing to change back into a human.
    
    
    Bat Transform
    -------------
            Mavis' final technique of the game, in the form of a Bat you can fly up
    very high and reach otherwise unreachable spots in rooms, and otherwise bypass
    dangerous obstacles. However, the Bat transformation has a limited period of
    time. As soon as you exit Bat Form, you cannot retransform until you touch the
    ground again. You can also press the L button to transform directly into Mist
    without needing to change back into a human.
    
    
    
    Gem Collecting
    --------------
            Throughout the main game, there are 1185 Gems, along with 215 Gems in
    the Bonus levels, for a total of 1400 Gems. By collecting 200 Gems, you receive
    an extra Heart.
    
            There is NO way to know where there may be any Gems you missed, so if
    you do not have 1185 Gems by the end of the main game, you will basically have
    to thoroughly search every room in the castle and gardens area.

            Q: How many Gems are there in the main game?
    
            A: There are a total of 1185 Gems present in the main game. Please do
    not ask me how to find any you are missing, as there is no real way to do that
    other than thoroughly searching every room. You may want to make a list of each
    numbered room in this walkthrough and go through them one by one. Be certain to
    fly up to the very top of the screen on the outdoor segments.
    
    
            Q: Do I get anything for finding all 1400 Gems?
    
            A: No, you do not, outside of getting an additional Heart onto your bar
    for every 200 Gems, up to a total of 7.
    
    
            Q: Help, I completed the game and tried to load my save and got an
    error!
    
            A: This is a known glitch, and it is a travesty it shipped out like
    that. The author's best recommendation is to email the publisher, GameMill
    Publishing's customer support and perhaps attempt to get a refund.
