Do original DS games work on all region 3ds?
If I were to import some ds game from japan and play them on my 3ds would they work? Please answer if you have tried and know for sure.

Yes, all original DS games (from any region) work with any region 3DS.
There is ONE exception, and these are DSi only and DSi-enhanced games, these were already region locked (example: pokemon black/white)
