3. 	Walkthrough
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Welcome to the walkthrough portion of the guide where I will explain how to
complete each puzzle.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.001 	Stumble's Balloons
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Location: Carnival Square
Activation: Speak to Stumble
Picarats: 20
In this puzzle the player will have to touch one of nine orange dots in order
to untangle Stumble from his balloons. This puzzle can be completed in as
little as 3 moves. Begin by tapping the top-right dot. Then tap the middle
dot. Lastly, tap the top-left dot.
After the puzzle, you'll be promted into a horse chase sequence. Swipe the
stylus left and right to change lanes, and make sure to avoid barrels. Carrots
will speed you up and allow you to break through barrels.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.002 	Where's Mother?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Location: Carnival Arcade
Activation: Zoom in on the clown float, then speak to Cookie
Picarats: 30
In this puzzle you have to select which woman is the girl's mother. Woman A is
automatically ruled out because she doesn't have red hair. It cannot be woman
C either, because she is actually a man. Since woman D owns a blue purse, not
a pink one, it cannot be her. Woman E has a bear on her purse, but she says
that's not her purse, so it cannot be her. This leaves woman 2 as her mother.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.003 	Stumble's Banners
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Location: Gallery Plaza
Activation: Speak to Stumble
Picarats: 30
In this puzzle you're trying to match up the posters on the bottom to the
poster on the top. In poster C, the trumpet player is wearing a hat, while in
poster A, the tail is different from the main poster. This leaves poster B as
the answer.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.004 	Bumper Perspective
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Location: Knickknack Alley
Activation: Touch the toy red car in front of the kiosk
Picarats: 20
Honestly, I didn't understand this riddle that well. I just kept clicking on
cars until I selected the correct one. The correct car is the closest to the
middle, facing the lower-right of the screen.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.005 	Robot Factory
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Location: Knickknack Alley
Activation: Speak the Guy, the man behind the toy kiosk
Picarats: 35
This puzzle requires the player to figure out the patern of how each piece is
assembled into the robot. Put the shoes into the second box. Then, drag the
body into the fourth box and flip it upside-down. Place the head in the third
box and turn it to the right. Lastly, put the arms into the first box and turn
them to the left. Click Submit to finish the puzzle.
After this puzzle you will be prompted to do a mini-game puzzle. This involves
you having to guess what cup a ball is hidden in. The game is rigged, so you
will lose the first couple of times. Pay attention to the two hands when the
mixing is done. The two open fingers indicate what cup the ball is in. For
example, if the fingers on the left side of the right hand are open, then the
ball is in the third cup.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.006 	Bunny-Hop Swap
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Location: Ledore Parlor
Activation: On the right side of the screen, touch the upper part of the
closet
Picarats: 20
In this puzzle you are charged with turning all the white bunnies into a brown
color, by jumping them over each other. Here's the grid:
A1 A2 A3 A4
B1 B2 B3 B4
C1 C2 C3 C4
D1 D2 D3 D4
In this puzzle guide I will say things like A1 to A4, this means move the
bunny in A1 to A4.
1. A4 to C4
2. D1 to B1
3. B4 to D4
4. C1 to A1
5. A1 to A4
6. B1 to B4
7. C4 to C1
8. D4 to D1
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.007 	A Toasty Toast
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Location: Carnival Arcade
Activation: Speak to Collette
Picarats: 30
This puzzle requires you to match up the people on the bottom screen with the
people on the top screen and select the people that are present in both
screens. Person one is flipped and the second person, the second person on the
bottom screen lines up with the third on the top. Person 3 on the bottom lines
up with person 1 on the top. Person 4's hair on the bottom lines up with the
left side of person 2's hair on the top. Lastly, person 6's hait matches up
with the tail of person 2 on top. Make sure to select people 1, 2, 3, 4, and
6.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.008 	Carnival Colors
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Location: Carnival Square
Activation: Speak to Madelaine
Picarats: 20
In this puzzle you have to count how many times the pattern in the top-right
corner appears in the flags on the top screen. If you count correctly then
you'll realize that the correct outcome it 2.
Activation: Touch the gold-sun symbol over the door in the top right corner of
the screen.
Picarats: 35
Imagine stamping the stamp in the top left corner onto a piece of paper, how
would it look? If you flip the stamp upwards you'll understand that it fits
paper D.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.010 	The Place to Be!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Location: Madame Lapushka's
Activation: Speak to Madame Lapushka
Picarats: 30
In this puzzle you have to count how many people are in the shop. Simply count
the amount of pairs of feet in the store. There are 6 pairs of feet. There are
two extra heads, though, between feet one and two, and feet five and six. This
makes 8 people.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.011	Backstage Blunder
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Location: City Monument
Activation: Speak to Juggles the Clown
Picarats: 30
This is a trick question. You must find the item without a pair. The item you
need to circle is the box the clown is holding, since it doesn't have a pair.
Quite clever, if I do say so myself.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.012 	Sharing the Burden
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Location: Dromedary Lobby
Activation: Speak to Pascal (Hotel Clerk)
Picarats: 35
This puzzle requires quite a bit of trial and error, but if you want to
complete the puzzle swiftly, place luggage A, C, and F in the man's hands; and
place luggage B, D, and E in the woman's hands.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.013 	Ancient Arti-facts
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Location: Classroom
Activation: Speak to Mr. Collins
of sand at 100cm. Person D found a coin made of stone at 50cm.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.014 	Bite of Bygone Days
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Location: Classroom
Activation: Automatically after puzzle 13
Picarats: 30
The fossil has 6 tooth marks. Fish A has three teeth on one side, which means
it has three on the other as well. That adds up to 6, making fish A the
correct answer.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.015 	Fix the Fossil
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Location: Classroom
Activation: Automatically after puzzle 14
Picarats: 30
The grid looks like this:
A1 A2 A3 A4 A5
B1 B2 B3 B4 B5
C1 C2 C3 C4 C5
D1 D2 D3 D4 D5
E1 E2 E3 E4 E5
Move A2 to B2. Then, E3 to D3. Then, D1 to D2. Lastly, E4 to D4.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This puzzle is a logic puzzle. The correct time is 1:25.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.017 	Busted Umbrella
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Location: Kingsbrook Academy
Activation: Touch the purple umbrella in the basket near the right of the
screen.
Picarats: 35

The trick is to pick out the broken umbrella. Umbrella B is broken because it
doesn't open.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.018 	That's Juicy!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Location: Living Room (Layton Home)
Activation: Touch the blue bottle on the counter on the left side of the
screen.
Picarats: 30

The way to look at this is like a multiple variable equation. In this equation
the big bottle will be X, the middle bottle Y, and the large bottle Z.

X + 3Y + 3Z = 18
2X + 6Z = 18
4Y + 6Z = 18

Plug the numbers into a graphing calculator using matrices and you get:
Large: 6L
Medium: 3L
Small: 1L

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.019	Spinning Maize
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Location: Pebble Lane
Activation: Talk to Esther
Picarats: 25

There's no actual "solution" to this puzzle, you just have to complete the
maze. There's no time limit, so take your time. Always try going upwards and
you'll eventually reach the end of the maze.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.020 	Nine Red Bricks
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Location: Market Street
Activation: Speak to Lionel
Picarats: 40

Another logic puzzle. Lionel would only have to lift every other brick. He
would lift 2, 4, 6, and 8. If 4 is heavy, then he knows it can't be 3, so 4
and 5 would be the heavy ones. On the other hand, if 8 is heavy, he knows that
7 isn't, so 9 is the heavy one. The maximum needed to lift would be 4.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.021 	A Lick of Paint
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Location: Hershel's Room
Picarats: 30
In this puzzle you have to arrange the totems in a specific order using a
special moveset. Hit the bottom-right block first. Then, hit the block that
fell into its place. Hit the block right below the red totem to the left.
Then, hit the block below the green totem to the right. Next, strike the green
totem head to the left. Lastly, hit the blue totem head to the right.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.023 	Fairway Fibber

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.025	Brave the Caves
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Location: Academy Gate
Activation: Speak to Mr. Collins
Picarats: 40

This puzzle is complicated. Based off of the pictures you have to decipheer
which exit the explorer came out of. The correct path is blue, yellow, blue,
red.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.026 	Mangled Math
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Location: Pebble Lane
Activation: Speak to Alphonse
Picarats: 25

Pay attention to the tears instead of what's actually written. If the paper is
flipped over, then the tears look like 17 - 2, which is equal to 15.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.027 	That Rings a Bell
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Location: Ascot House
Activation: Touch the window in the top-left corner of the screen
Picarats: 40

In this puzzle you have to figure out the right order for the balls to shoot
out of the slingshot. This can take some trial and error. Put ball 1 into the
first slingshot, ball 4 in the second slingshot, ball 3 in the third, and ball
2 in the fourth.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.028 	Bunny-Hop Swap 2
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Location: Layton's Room
Activation: Touch the pillows on the bed on the right
Picarats: 30

Just like the last Bunny-Hop Swap puzzle, your goal is to turn all the bunnies
brown by jumping over them. This time you can make bunnies jump diagonally.

Here is the grid again:

A1 A2 A3 A4
B1 B2 B3 B4
C1 C2 C3 C4
D1 D2 D3 D4

1. D4 to D2
2. D2 to B2
3. A1 to Q3
4. A3 to C3
5. B2 to D4
6. D4 to B4
7. B4 to B2
8. B1 to B4
9. C4 to A4

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.029 	Tenth-Round Ace
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Location: Merchant District
Activation: Talk to Frankie
Picarats: 30

Pretty simple puzzle this time. Who won more rounds? This is a probability
question, and when the math is done it works out that the answer is A.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.030 	Big Cake, Little Cake
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Location: Gallery Plaza
Activation: Talk to Madelaine
Picarats: 35

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.031 	Emperor's Throne
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Location: Carnival Arcade
Activation: Speak with Collette
Picarats: 35

In this puzzle you'll be moving penguins to try to get the emperor to the
middle. Begin by moving the penguin on the top left down. Then, move it right.
Next, move it down. Now, move the emperor to the right. Lastly, move the
emperor up to complete the puzzle.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.032 	Target Practice
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Location: Carnival Square
Activation: Speak to the Policeman
Picarats: 45

This puzzle is tricky. It states that he "shot" 5 times, not "hit" 5 times.
Due to this, just put a 1 in the 100 box to solve the problem.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.033 	Chained Circle
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Location: Knickknack Alley
Activation: Speak to Guy
Picarats: 35

3.034 	The Cat's Trophy
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Location: Henry's Study
Activation: Tap the plate on the far right of the screen
Picarats: 30
pieces with each other. Once this is done, you will realize that the answer is
plate C.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.035 	Guess Stars
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Location: Ledore Mansion Gate
Activation: Speak to Nils
Picarats: 40
The answer is A2, C1, and C4.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.037 	Spin Shenanigans
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Location: City Monument
Activation: Speak with Humbert
Picarats: 40
Look at the picture. There are 12 numbers, but the number 12 is missing,
instead replaced by the number 13. Also, the ball lands on 10, then moves 2
spaces. 10 is 2 away from 12. Then, it lands on 9, which is 3 spaces from 12,
so the ball moves 3 spaces. If you keep up with this pattern you'll find the
answer to be 6.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.038 	Pattern Pending
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Location: One-Ring Circus
Activation: Talk to Puck
3.040 	Crossed Connections
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Location: Reception (City Hall)
Activation: Touch the lamp on the desk on the left side of the screen
Picarats: 35

Quite an easy logic puzzle. Socket 1 goes to Cable C, Socket 2 to Cable D,
Socket 3 to Cable A, and Socket 4 goes to Cable B.

After this puzzle SPEAK TO CHIEF SHEFFIELD to start the meeting. This will
start a few story puzzle sequences.

In the first puzzle you must answer a few questions. Answer "The time of the
parade" for the first question. Answer "Their eyes were closed" for the
second question. Lastly, answer "In the nearby alleyways" for the third
question.

Another story puzzle will follow after the first. First answer "from a common
source." Then, answer "strangly packaged." For the third response, input "when
to display them." Lastly, enter in "vanishing paint" for the final response.

There is one mini-puzzle left. First answer "friends with each other." Next,
answer "people get on the stage." Lastly, input "the same at home." This will
complete the story puzzles.

3.041 	From the Sidelines
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Location: Briefing Room (City Hall)
Activation: Speak to Sheffield
Picarats: 40
This is a complicated perspective puzzle. Start off by thinking about what
people do in each location. Why would womone be moving in a triangle shape in
a hospital. After examining each location the one that makes the most sense is
right, next to the crate in the exit. Then, move the light-blue crate back to
the left. Drop the verticale crate by the exit down into the space. Move the
vertical crate with the orange outline next to the exit. The three vertical
crates should noe be stacked.
Move the square with the pink outline (the one next to the statue) all the way
to the right. Move the square crate outlined in orange down and to the right.
Move the weird green-outlined crate on the top row all the way to the left.
Next, move the pink-outlined crate up. Then, take the orange-outlined box to
the right all the way.
Move the weird blue-outlined crate up next to the statue. Take the light-blue
crate all the way to the left. Then, take the orange crate down and left. Take
the orange vertical crate left and down. Take the square crate in the top row
and move it down and to the right. Take the L shaped piece on top to the right
and take the L shaped piece in the middle row up. The two L shaped pieces
should come together.
Move the statue as far right as it can go. Move the light-blue box up and to
the left. Then, take the orange box left and up. Grab the two vertical pieces
and move them all the way to the left. Move the box to the right of the
statue down and to the left all the way. Grab the original place in the exit
and move it left and down. Fianlly, drag the statue to the right into the
First, I'm going to explain how to get to this puzzle from the entrance of the
ruins. Go all the way up, following the tutorial directions. Then, turn right
at the wall and continue in that direction until you reach a turn, where you
go up. You will reach a room with a locked door.
In order to get through this door just step on the switch that Randall isn't
on. Continue going up from there. You'll reach Mummy Chamber 1. Here, go all
the way left, then up and one space to the right. Dig a hole here and the
mummy will fall into it. Step on the left switch and leave the room.
The next room is a boulder tutorial. In order to get through here, move the
boulder up. Then walk to the left and up to the next boulder. Push this one
to the left. Then, move to the left and down and left again to the next
boulder. Push this boulder up and then exit the room.
Now there's a puzzle room. Push the boulder up, then left, then down, then
right, and finally up.
This will lead you to Mummy Chamber 2. Push the boulder up at the mummy. Then,
move left and up to the boulder. Push this boulder to the left. Go around and
push the boulder up to kill the next mummy. Then, just run to the switch.
Killing the mummy is not necessary.
Right when you get into the next room, dig up the first dig spot for the next
puzzle!
This is like two other puzzles we've already done. There's a catch, though.
You can only hit one block. This is a trick puzzle, because the answer isn't
one of the four given. You have to hit the crack on the very bottom block.
This will break the block and force all the others to slide, forming the shape
needed.
In order to get to this puzzle there are a few steps. First, move left after
completing Puzzle 92 in order to reach Puzzle Chamber 2.
In Puzzle Chamber 2 begin by moving the boulder on the right - up. Up as far
as you can and then go left on space. Push the boulder below you down. Lastly,
push that same boulder to the right. Leaving this room will lead you to Mummy
Chamber 3.
In Mummy Chamber 3 go up until you are touching the pillar. Then, go right all
the way. Go up to the pillar and go right one step. Move up one spot and then
turn to face down. Dig hole when facing down and the mummy will fall into it.
Go up one and then go left until you are one space before the mummy. Take 2
steps down. Take one step right, then face left and dig a hole. The mummy will
fall in. Then, move to the top row, so you are standing 4 spaces to the right
of the final mummy. Move down 2 spaces. Then, face up and dig a hole to defeat
the last mummy. Move onto the switch to activate the door. This will lead you
to Puzzle Chamber 3
Go to the left-middle of the room and push the boulder to the right. Climb the
bottom-right stairs and continue across the boulder you just pushed. Step on
the switch to activate another boulder. Go to the top of the room and push the
boulder down. Climb the bottom-right stairs again and cross the new boulder
you pushed. Pull the lever. This will open the path to the next room.
Finally, you've reached the puzzle! Be careful, because there is a time
constraint, since the mummies are moving on a timetable. Begin by taking one
step to the right. Wait until the top mummy is at the end of his track. Then,
move down, right, up, left, down, right, and down again. Wait until the mummy
moves off the cliff, and then move left, up, left, up, up, up, right, down,
down, left, up, right, down, and finally right.
There are a few mummy and puzzle chambers to complete before reaching this
puzzle. We'll start with Puzzle Chamber 5.
Push the middle boulder down. Then, push the right boulder down, left, up, and
right. Finally, grab the top boulder. Push it down and right.
Time for Mummy Chamber 4. There's a new spiked enemy mummy now. So, puzzle
solving is a little harder. Begin by moving down and left to the soil. Dig a
whole for the mummy to fall into. Now, move to the right wall and move up 1
space below the column. Go left and up for the mummy to see you. Dig a hole
to your left for the mummy to fall in. Go to the right wall and go all the
way up and left. Have the mummy chase you back to the patch closest to the
entrance. Take one steop toward the mummy. Then, circle the pillar clockwise.
Once on the other side of the patch, dig a hole for the mummy to fall into.
Lastly, head to the final mummy. He'll start following you. Head up and left
to the last patch. Dig a hole for the last mummy and head to the switch.
The next room is Puzzle Chamber 6. Here, push the right boulder down. Then,
push the left boulder to the right. Push the top boulder down and to the
right. Push the right boulder up, left, down, and right. Leave the room to
reach Puzzle Chamber 7.
In Puzzle Chamber 7, label the boulders from A through D going left to right.
This will make it easier giving directions. First, push boulders A and C up.
Now, push boulder B up, right, down, and left. Now, push boulder D up. Walk to
the next room.
This will lead you to Puzzle Chamber 8. Push the bottom-left boulder up, left,
and down. Push the bottom boulder left. Push the top boulder left and down.
Grab the right-most boulder and push it left, up, right, and up.
Now you're in Mummy Chamber 5. Turn right, then up. This will attract the
attention of two mummies. Keep going up until you reach the row of the first
boulder. Turn left here and walk 2 spaces. Move up one space to kill the two
mummies. Head directly to the switch in the top right of the room from here.
Move to the bottom of the boulder than Randall just dropped to you and push
it up. Move to the left side of it and push it right. Stand on the switch and
ignore the mummy chasing you. Move to the next room.
By entering the room you automatically trigger the puzzle. The answer to the
puzzle is A.
Hershel to the exit.
In order to reach this puzzle, head to the left side of the room. Roll the
left boulder down and the right boulder up. Take the right boulder right, up,
and right again. Dig up the right dig spot.
I like this puzzle. The observation part is pretty easy, but you have to
figure out which numbers to use. When you "ask" the water you're asking which
floats and which sinks. The metal ones sink, so the answer is 9594.
first is Puzzle Chamber 9.
In Puzzle Chamber 9, begin by pushing the right boulder down. Next, push the
left boulder to the right and up. Push the right boulder up and the middle
boulder to the right. Lastly, push the bottom boulder right, up, right, and
up.
Now it's time for Puzzle Chamber 10. Move the top-right boulder left, down,
and left. Move the top boulder down and left. Lastly, grab the bottom-left
boulder and move it up and left.
In the next room, move the bottom boulder left. Move the top-left boulder
down, right, up, right, and up. Move the top-left boulder up. Move the right
boulder left and up to gain access to the puzzle. Dig up the top-left dig spot
to start the puzzle.
Once again, there are a few rooms you must traverse in order to reach Puzzle
100. You start with Puzzle Chamber 11.
In Puzzle Chamber 11, start by pushing the top-right boulder left, down, and
right. Now, push the left-most boulder down and right. Next, push the right
boulder down and left. Push the top boulder down and the left boulder down.
Push the top-left boulder left and up.
This will lead you to the final mummy chamber. Go right on space and up 2.
This will capture the mummy's attention. Go down, right 2, up, right 2, turn,
and dig a hole.
Move to the left chamber and up one chamber. Go 1 to the right, to capture the
mummy's attention. Go 1 left, 2 down, right, down all the way, and around
the circle. Once you reach the patch, go 1 up and dig a hole.
Go all the way up to capture the attention of the 2 mummies. Do the same
thing as before. Round thr mummy around the pole and dig a hole, trapping it.
Then, head to the switch. Ignore the last 2 mummies.
Enter the last room for Puzzle 100.
Here's the grid:
A1 A2 A3
B1 B2 B3
C1 C2 C3
This is supposed to be tricky, but I actually found this puzzle to be quite
easy. The red marks correlate with the corner/piece int the square, then you
just take the opposite. For example: The first red symbol indicated the top-
left corner. Just take the opposite, the bottom-right corner, and you insert
it there. The correct solution in order is: C3, B3, B2, A3, A1.
4. 	Frequently Asked Questions
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Q: What are Picarats?
A: Picarats are almost a currency in Professor Layton. The better you do in a
puzzle, the more Picarats you will receive. Unforunately, these cannot be used
in-game, instead these are used to unlock bonuses after the game is beaten.

Q: Why do you not have a guide for the mini-games?
A: The mini-games are just a distraction and are not necessary in the
completion of the game. Therefore, I did not believe it would be beneficial to
write a guide for them.

Q: Where do I go if I missed a puzzle.
A: Go visit Nanna Grams in the Dromedary Lobby. There you can find puzzles you
missed.
