3 Heart challenge: Spirit Before Shadow?

I have always found the Shadow Temple Hard to Start with, and I am attempting a 3 heart challenge where I have no shield, and I can't learn the Sun Song, making ReDeads a pain in the butt. Can I skip the Spirit Temple for now and go complete the Spirit Temple without the hover boots?
P.S. I have the Lens of Truth.

Additional details - 6 months ago

I made the goddess statue jump to the triforce w/o the hover boots. Can I complete the rest of the temple now?
