The good Queen Xeldeth 1 has commissioned you to command HMS Raider, an interstellar sloop, on a daring privateer raid deep into the extremities of the Thraxish Empire. On a planet aptly named Hell, because of its searingly hot atmosphere, you discover the secret of the Thraxish treasure houses: Hell's volcanoes periodically spew forth vast quantities of massive gem stones, each bigger than a Zullet's egg. You take your ship in successive collection runs, using your orbital fighters to defend the Raider against furious attacks by the Imperial Fighter Force. As the holds of the Raider are filled, each cargo of riches must be transported off Hell, but beware, this annoys the Thraxons who become increasingly protective of their home-grown treasure.
