    [Ryu] : The Lone Fighter
    
    With his lifelong rival now happily married (Ken has become even less
    readily available since the arrival of his son), Ryu has become even
    more desperate in his quest for a strong fighter. Likely the star of the
    game again, this ageless fighter is expected to have some powerful
    punches and kicks at his disposal. Ryu's style is solid and intense,
    unlike his friend and rival Ken's style which is flashy.How will his tried
    and tested techniques fare against the new opponents?
    
    [Alex] : The Retired Soldier
    
    A retired soldier living in Manhattan with his father's old friend Tom
    and Tom's daughter Patricia. He has not seen his parents since he moved
    out as a teenager. Brusque, straightforward in manner, his taciturnity
    often gets him into trouble, but essentially, he's not the sort of a
    person that earns lasting hatred. Despite his size, this brawler can
    move with amazing speed to get in close and pummel the opponent with
    punches and execute powerful throws. When Tom is badly beaten by
    a mysterious challenger(Gill),Alex seeks revenge.
    
    [Yun] : The Storming White Dragon
    
    Twin brothers who use Chinese martial arts. They rely on their agility
    and speed to confuse opponents. Separated from their parents while mere
    babies, the two were raised by their grandfather in Hong Kong. The two
    name eight underworld bosses of Hong Kong as their godfathers, all of
    whom are very pleased with the emerging street leaders. Although their
    abilities are essentially identical, Yun, with the hat, is described as
    attacking like the fleet wind, while the younger Yang is said to
    overwhelm the opponent with a tidal wave of attacks. Yun is the more
    responsible of the two,a born leader. He can be very impulsive though.
    Previously introduced twin brother of Yun. We thought you'd want to see
    what he looks like. Yang, is described as fighting in a style reminiscent
    of a tidal wave. It would appear his tactic is to draw the opponent into
    his rhythm and swamping them. Yang is a calmer of the two and looks at
    things more subjectively instead of rushing in.
    
    [Necro] : The Living Biohazard
    
    Born in a small village in Russia,on the skirts of a lake, Necro has two
    older brothers and a younger sister. He leaves the cold, country living
    for the bright lights of Moscow, where he joins Gill's criminal syndicate 
    and is genetically altered into a ruthless killing machine with super human 
    flexibility. His fighting techniques are computer generated and imprinted 
    into his brain using cyber technology. He seeks revenge on Gill for having 
    experimented on him.
    
    [Ibuki] : The High School Ninja
    
    A 16 year-old,female,high school student, who is also a practicing ninja.
    With a variety of contortion movements, she can zero in to the opponent's
    weak spots. Usually, Ibuki acts just like any other high school student --
    somewhat lackadaisical,but an enthusiastic pop idol fan -- but in battle 
    she's as dangerous as they come. With very little wasted movements, this 
    lady goes for the sure kill.
    
    [Hugo] : The Iron-Blooded Giant
    
    A top-ranked German wrestler in the American Pro-Wrestling circuit, whose 
    height is over 240 cm and weighs 200kg. His enormous muscle power allows 
    him to move nimbly despite the huge mass of his body. He is looking for a 
    partner for the upcoming tag team tournament.
    
    [Sean] : The Cannonball Kid
    
    A Brazilian boy from a very,average household with uncanny athletic
    ability. Inspired by Ken at a fighting tournament, he hits the road in
    pursuit of his idol. Strictly disciplined by his grandfather (of Japanese
    extraction), Sean is polite and courteous, but with a burning
    desire to win. Imitating Ken's style, Sean fights very aggressively but
    without the cutting edge of Ken's attacks. His style therefore leaves
    him vulnerable to counter strikes even while he is attacking. He one day
    hopes to develop his own power moves.
    
    [Urien] : The Dark Horse Destroyer
    
    He was created to be a conqueror and an emperor. He posesses super human
    abilities, and has earned the trust of Gill. However, a deadly desire to 
    usurp Gill's power quietly burns in the back of his mind. Is he destined for 
    eternal glory or ultimate destruction?
    
    [Elena] : The Nature Loving Fighter
    
    Hailing from a small tribe (whose enlightened chief comes complete with
    a doctorate from a French University), Elena grew up in the arms of the
    vast, harsh,and yet nurturing savanna,under the wise guidance of her
    parents. An only child, she has developed a wonder and love for life.
    Using her natural spring to advantage, she practices capoeria, the
    fighting style using only kicks and especially suited for women of
    smaller stature who have powerful leg springs. Motions are rhythmic, as
    if dancing, with constant movement to confuse and check the opponent.
    Attacks can be rapidly launched in succession as soon as the opportunity
    presents itself.
    
    [Oro] : The Senjutu Master
    
    A sennin over 140 years old,who lives in a cavern in the Amazon jungle.
    He appears to be of Japanese origin, but little else is known. Although
    he cuts a somewhat comical figure, his total lack of greed and ambition
    have allowed him to become the master of skills beyond those of any
    ordinary man. Using his experience and his unflagging athletic
    abilities, Oro's movement flow freely. Even motions that appear wasteful
    show very little opportunity for the opponent to exploit. Out of
    boredom, he embarked on a journey to seek out the ideal successor of his
    school of earth magic, but he has been unable to find any fighter worthy
    of his real effort. After some deliberation, he sealed the use of one
    arm by magic, so apart from mealtime, he is limited one arm for his
    daily affairs. Sometimes the magic seal swaps arms while he sleeps.
    
    [Yang] : The Flurry Blue Dragon

    [Dudley] : The Boxing Gentleman
    
    A heavyweight boxer,who can fight in close or at arm's length. A
    perfectionist, this fighter seeks elegance and perfect fighting style.
    This Briton is the son of a celebrated athlete and businessman and knew
    no financial hardships growing up. When his father's business failed in
    his university years, Dudley stepped into the ring to earn back
    everything his father had lost. Armed with smoking punches expected of a
    heavyweight as well as weaker punches designed to keep opponents at bay,
    special techniques may have to be developed for this character.
    
    [Ken] : The Flaming Dragon
    
    Having studied under the same master, Ken and Ryu respectively hail each
    other as lifelong rivals. Known to have less finesse,but greater power
    than his friend, the blond maned fighter is back in his customary red
    garb. Ken now lives on the California coast with his wife and three-year
    old son, Mel. Although domestic commitments keep him busy, he has been
    given permission by his wife to take part in any fighting tournament
    with Ryu. Ken's style is seemingly reckless but never to be underestimated.
    
    [Gill] : The Emperor of the Utopia
    
    A secret society has ruled the underworld since B.C. Their objective was
    to make Earth into Utopia by the year 2200. Every 24 years, the president
    of this circle is chosen from the children of 1024 groups of specialists.
    Based on Zodiac predictions, Chinese Fuunshu , and various
    foretelling crafts, few of the children were picked and highly educated
    with. When they became adult, one was chosen to become the new
    president. And the current president is called Gill. The past presidents
    posessed strong wills and calm observations. All these charisma can be
    found on Gill. Expert in all kinds of fighting styles, Gill wants the
    extreme art of fighting. He summoned the streetfighters from all over
    the world, his only aim is their skills ....
    
    [Gouki(Akuma)] : The Murderous Demon
    
    Shun Goku Satsu.... Shun Goku Satsu!! Gouki learned this from his
    master Goutetsu. He was told this move was so extremely powerful it
    could kill the person who uses it. Goutetsu's ancestors feared it was too
    powerful so they sealed the move, never to be seen again. But Gouki
    believed his ancestors were fools so he released the move. In his opinion
    a true warrior will do everything he can to win the fight.
    " It is cowardly to avoid a technique because you fear it. A life of fear is
    not much of a life. "
    Gouki is confident he can perform the move without dying. It is his dream
    to be stronger than anyone else. Gouki chooses his own master, Goutetsu
    to test this move on. During their fight, Gouki sees the chance. He feels 
    like all the cells in his body will explode. After a second, he watches his 
    dead master's body spray blood. Gouki's evil fate was set. It is his destiny 
    and there is no turning back.

    [Judgement] :
    
    If a fight(not a round)ends in a draw the winner is selected by random by a
    panel of 3 judges. Judgement can be won very easily by landing and 
    connecting with a lot of  hits, because I won Judgement on Gill once..doubt 
    I will ever see judgement again. And all three judges vouched for me. The 
    icon that represents Judgement is the capital letter "J."

    [Let's Practice Parrying !!!!(Bonus Stage)] :
    
    In the Bonus Stage, Sean tosses Basketballs at you and you have to parry 
    them.
    You can change the levels of the bonus stage. There are codes in order to 
    start you out at a higher level or less.(See Tricks and Codes Section) 
    This may sound lame but I practice my air parrying in this stage. :P Also 
    note that you have full access to your Super Arts and Ex Specials in the 
    Bonus Stage. You can also hit the Bballs after you've parried them. :)
    
    [Personal Actions(Taunts)] :
    
    Taunts can be performed by pressing FP+RK at the simultaneously. The 
    advantages
    of taunting are they can hit,can be put into combos,and make your 
    character's
    attacks stronger for a certain amount of time. And yes,taunts can be 
    parried. All taunts build up the Super meter.
    
    [Taunts] :
    
    [Ryu] : He goes into a stern horse-like stance and spazzes.
    [Alex] : He flexes his biceps and rotates them, it also powers him up the 
     longer you hold them.
    [Yun] : He takes off his cap and twirls it around his finger before putting    
             it back on. If you keep holding down the buttons he keeps twirling 
             his hat.
    [Necro] : He sticks out his tongue in a very nasty way. If it hits they will
              take damage.
    [Ibuki] : She leap frogs. If it hits the opponent they will take damage.
    [Hugo] : He locks his fingers and shows off his shoulders/muscles.
    [Sean] : He throws a free throw shot with his Harlem Globetrotters Basket  
              Ball. It hits and does damage.
    [Urien] : He pounds the ground with his fist. If it hits it knocks down  
               enemy and does damage..
    [Elena] : She does a fancy hand-stand. If it hits connect it knocks the 
               person down and does damage. While she does the handstand she 
               either giggles or says, "Hey!."
    [Oro] : Looks Down and blows a white bubble. It lowers his stun gauge.
    [Yang] : He ruffles his hair.
    [Dudley] : He tosses a rose. It hits and does damage.
    [Ken] : He points down his thumb and says, " Come On! " or " Koi Yo! " It 
             hits the opp. two times.
    [Gill] : N/A
    [Gouki(Akuma)] : He goes into a stern horse-like stance,and emits fire all
             around his body.
    
    [Throw Escape] :
    
    When being thrown,simultaneously hold the joystick B or F, press Strong or
    Fierce/press Forward or Roundhouse to escape. Both players get pushed off.
    
    [Double Knockout] :
    
    When two players hit each other on the last hit,they both end up being 
    knocked out. The icon that represents Double K O is the capital letter D.
    
    [Two-in-One(Cancel)] :
    
    To accomplish a two-in-one combo, you must start the combo with a basic 
    attack
    and then immediately do a special or super move. If you do this correctly 
    you
    will "interrupt" the basic attack's animation cycle.
    
    For Example :
    
    Ryu
    
    As you do Ryu's Cr. Fierce, start the motion for the Fireball(QCF+P). As 
    soon as the Fierce makes contact finish the Fireball motion.
    
    If done Correctly, you will "interrupt" Ryu's cr. Fierce animation cycle and 
    go directly into a Fireball for a two-hit combo.
    
    If done WRONG,  you will just see Ryu finish his Fierce animation cycle. 
    This of course it bad :)
    
    [Target Combo(Chains)] :
    
    A chain combo occurs when you "interrupt" the animation cycle of a basic 
    attack with another basic attack.
    
    For Example :
    
    Dudley :
    
    St. Short, St. Forward, St. Strong, St. Fierce
    
    or
    
    Ryu :
    
    St. Fierce, St. Roundhouse
    
    [Link-Hit Combos] :
    
    A link combo is different from a chain or two-in-one because you don't 
    cancelthe animation cycle of the previous attack. Instead, you do your 
    second immdiately after the first attack's animation cycle finishes. The 
    timing for combos that involve links requires hours of practice to 
    accomplish.
    
    [Cross-Ups] :
    
    A Cross Up Attack is a jump in that hits behind your opponents head. Some 
    people call it the "neck kick." This move is supposed to be blocked the 
    opposite way your facing, since the attack is going to hit the opposite 
    way. Note : To have a sucessful Cross-Up you must land deep in the attack 
    but not to deep to the point where you can't combo.
    
    [Super Cancelling] :
    
    Its when you cancel a special move into a Super Art. The bad thing about 
    this is it makes your super art do less damage than what it usually does. 
    When you do a FireBall with Ryu(QCF+P)and then cancel the Fireball animation 
    with another QCF+P motion it will make the Super Art come out. Remember 
    when super cancelling from special to Super Art,you must always cancel 
    off the first hit.
    
    For Example :
    
    Ryu
    
    Dragon(DP+SP or FP),cancel into Shin Shoryuken
    Comments : By cancelling the Dragon you reduce the damage the Super Art does 
    by 50%.
    
    [Stun Bar(Gauge)] :
    
    Every character has a empty meter under they're energy. Everytime the player 
    gets hit the meter fills up with a red color. When it fills up the character
    becomes stunned or dizzied. The meter goes down if the character does not 
    keep getting hit with continous attacks. Hard Attackscause the meter to rise 
    higher than special moves. Super Arts don't bring up the Stun Bar that much 
    at all. Some characters have bigger stun bars. Hugo,Alex,Dudley,and Oro have 
    longer stun bars than the rest of the characters.
    
    Which means that the person needs a bit more hits to get dizzied and is 
    harder to stun. Gouki(Akuma) has the smallest stun bar out of the whole 
    cast.
    
    [EX Specials] :
    
    A faster and stronger version of your Special Moves. The EX Specials were
    introduced in the Vampire Savior Series. An eg. to do a EX Special is 
    this : Urien's Normal Chariot Tackle is done Charge B,F + K now the EX 
    Special requires you to press KK like this Charge B,F + KK . EX Specials use 
    up some of your Super Meter and not every special move can be turned into a 
    EX Special. In this FAQ I will make an icon next to which special moves
    can be made into EX Specials. A * represents it. All characters can do EX
    Specials except for Gouki(Akuma).
    
    [EX Overheads] :
    
    These are a little faster and stronger versions of overheads.  They don't 
    havethe EX Shadows coming from the move like the Special Moves.  They also 
    use up some of your Super Meter.  They are done the same way as overheads 
    except with two kick or punch buttons.
    Like so, D,D + PP or D,D + KK.
    
    [Special Knockouts] :
    
    If you KO them with a JP or SK, they reel
    back and fall on their knees and you can still
    hit them with another ground attack and it does
    count as a combo.
    
    To do special moves after a KO, you must two-in-one
    or Super Cancel them off the KO hit.
    
    It is also possible to do Super Arts after a special move KO.

    Strategy on Shin Gouki(Akuma) with other people :
    
    Its a little tougher, you have to parry his Tenma Kujinkyaku whenever 
    possible.
    
    Parry his jump-in  especially his jump in Kuchu Gou Hadouken. Be especially
    careful when his meter is filled to at least one level cause if you jump 
    he's most likely to catch you off guard with a Messatsu Gou Rasen. Poke in 
    whenever possible,but be wary of eating a Super if he parries your attack.

    [Necro] :
    
    Necro gets trapped in the power-plant where he originated after he
    defeats Gill to be left to die. In a state of panic, Necro tries his
    best to escape, but to no avail. Then, a little girl, Effie comes along, 
    yells out Necro's real name which is Illia,and frees Necro, and both of them 
    escape the power-plant before it blows up on a motorcycle.
    
    [Ibuki] :
    
    Starts with Ibuki lying down in a field with some sort of grain sticking
    out of her mouth. She flashes back to the end of her battle with Gill.
    "I'll keep my word. Here's the G file. It's too late though! It's already
    begun! This is an execent document, you should use it as a reference
    paper, hahaha!" Then she senses the presense of someone trying to sneak
    up on her, and attacks with her knives. Her friend (the presense) blocks
    with her bookbag and yells at her. THE END. (complete with pic of Racoon
    dancing).
    
    [Hugo] :
    
    Depending on who his last boss is, he forms a tag team with a different 
    character each time. So far I've seen four :
    
    Hugo : " You are indeed a mighty warrior. I'm impressed. Hey Poison! I've
           finally chosed my new partner!! "
    Poison : " Oh? So you've made your decision...... Very well. You may call me
             Poison. As promised you are going to join forces with Hugo and    
             enter the tag team tournament. I am now your manager. It should be

    power. Sean fights Ryu once again, with more effort than the previous
    try, but again, Sean gets trashed by Ryu. Ryu then tells Sean, that a
    great warrior needs a great state of mind and experience in order to
    fight effectively. Ken advises Sean to listen to what Ryu has to say, as
    it is good advice. Sean, once again, rises to fight with Ryu, with all
    his might, but alas, he still loses to Ryu.
    
    [Urien] :
    
    Old Apprentice : " We hereby recognize Urien as our new president."
    
    Urien : " It's only natural, I am the only one qualified for this 
    prestigious position. "
    
    Old Apprentice : " From this point, all crisis management units are under

    she wears the Japanese school uniform like Sakura's(SFA2), in a classroom 
    with her new found friends. She's in hurry on her bike to invite her friends 
    to meet her old "friends". Elena brings them to the forest to meet her 
    forest "friends".
    
    [Oro] :
    
    Oro says that he has finally found a worthy student to pass his fighting
    techniques to... Ryu. Seeing now that he is certain that his great
    abilities can be passed down and not be lost in time, he rides a plane
    off,to search for Ryu.

    "boss" changes his mind. Then, Dudley is seen driving in a car, happily.
    At a turn, Dudley breaks the steering wheel and then puts it back in place,
    saying "No Problem".

    Ken : " Come on Mel."
    All of a sudden it shows Ken being hurt and saying " Guha! "
    
    Eliza : " Ken!!!!!! "
    Scrolling down, it shows his son, Mel, punching him in the groin.

    [Gouki(Akuma)] :
    
    He stands on Ayer's Rock in Australia, says some stuff, and smashes it
    in half with a new move called "Kongou Kokuretsuzan." It has a literal 
    meaning of "Strong Gold Violent Country Slash," but it carries the meaning 
    of "Herculean Continent-Destroyer Slash." "Kongou" means immense strength.

    If you beat the whole game without losing a round you get to see the ending
    Credits along with ending. Also in the Ranking System it keeps track of how 
    many times you continue (little numbers by your score,if you beat the game 
    losing a round,(represented by a silver crown) and if you beat the game 
    without losing a round (represented by a gold crown). If you beat 
    Gouki(Akuma) you will get the " ten " symbol meaning destruction, written in 
    red ink. If you beat Shin Gouki(Akuma)you will get the " metsu " symbol

    difference when Alex's Power Bomb does 30%,his EX Slashing Elbow does 50%, 
    and his Hyper Bomb Super Art does 80%-100% depending on how long you held 
    the buttons for his Personal Action(Taunt)down. The Power Up only lasts a 
    few sec. Also the damage set on the machine will make a difference on how 
    much damage he can do. ^_^
    
    [Hugo's Infinite Combo] :
    
    In the corner,perform his Air Toss special move,juggle in the corner with 
    the Giant Pummel Bomb with Strong(QCB+SP),repeat until the character is 
    dizzy, hit them with a St. Strong or St. Forward. Then do anything to finish 
    it up.
    
    [Sean's B-Ball Trick] :
    
    When the match begins, Sean will take a jump shot with a Halrem Globtrotter 
    B-Ball, (He's from NY, he's used to playing B-Ball there).  You control the 
    motion of the B-Ball with the joystick. If you suceed in hitting the the 
    opp. on the head,they will go into their dizzy stance, for a second or two.  
    Pretty Funny to try the trick.  But controlling the Ball is tricky.
