    advanced tactics. This is a descriptive movelist of every 
    character in the Arcade disc of Rival Schools: United by 
    Fate for Arcade and PlayStation so don't expect anything 
    answered like "Why is this character is top-tier?" and 
    "Who is the best team?". If this is not the information 
    you are looking for, please close this text now.

    this game because the first fighting game I played for
    PSX around 1997 so I decided to pay homage to another
    non-mainstream game. One of my old classic favorites!

    Characters:
    
    *Due to time-related issues, I didn't add in the Command
    Normals sub-section, too much to research as it was not
    listed in the instruction manual and movelist in the pause
    menu.
    *All special moves can relate to the Arcade Disc for PSX,
    didn't include the moves listed also on the Evolution Disc
    because I'm listing it in my Arcade column on my Gamefaqs
    Contribution page. It was also too much research in that
    category also.
    *All Burning Vigor Attacks costs 1 meter and all Team-Up
    Techniques costs 2 meters. Each team can have a maximum
    of 9 meters.
    *Each character has 2 endings; a good one and a bad one.
    In order to get the good ending, get up to Chapter 7 and 
    beat either Raizo, his partner, or both and you MUST do 
    this with a Team-Up Technique. After that, there'll be a
    final chapter and you'll face the real boss, Hyo. Beat him 
    and the real character endings and credits will appear.
    Failure to do that will show a character portrait over Raizo
    with a short dialog, which is the bad ending. Rememeber 
    that these are the endings appearing in the Arcade version, 
    not the Arcade Disc for PSX.

    1) Taiyo High School:
    
    *Batsu Ichimonji:
    
    Batsu is introduced as a hot-headed new transfer student 
    to Taiyo. One day, he finds that his mother, an employee 
    at Taiyo, has been kidnapped. Despite his insistence that 
    he can take care of it himself, he is joined by his classmates 
    Hinata Wakaba and Kyosuke Kagami in his investigation. 
    At one point, Batsu is confronted by Justice High's Raizo 
    Imawano, who reveals himself as Batsu's estranged father. 
    This, along with the revelation that Kyosuke is working with 
    Raizo and Justice High, pushes Batsu to confront his father 
    and defeat him, as well as rescue his mother. After he and 
    his classmates also defeat the mastermind of the kidnappings, 
    Hyo Imawano, Batsu makes amends with Raizo and reunites 
    his family.

    Batsu shoots out a blue round projectile from his fists 
    similar to Sagat's Tiger Shot.
    
    Guts Upper: F, D, DF + P:
    Batsu rushes forward as he does a flaming uppercut
    that can do as much as 3 hits.
    
    Crescent Star Kick: QCB + K:
    Batsu does a forward spinning kick on the ground
    that can do as much as 3 hits.
    
    Shooting Star Kick: QCF + K (only in air):
    Batsu rushes right to the ground from the air as
    he does a fiery diving kick that can go up to 5
    hits depending on the angle it hits from.
    
    
    BURNING VIGOR ATTACKS:
    Super Guts Bullet: QCFx2 + P (also in air):
    Batsu does an extended version of his Guts Bullet
    that does 5 hits.
    
    Rival Launcher: QCBx2 + P:
    Batsu does his launcher as it raises the opponent in 
    the air as he continues on doing an HK, LP, D + HK 
    combination.
    
    
    TEAM-UP TECHNIQUE:
    Double Guts Bullet: P + K:
    The player will do a rushing punch and if it connects, 
    it will stun the opponent as the player takes a step back 
    and does a Super Bguts Bullet with Batsu.
    
    
    ENDINGS:
    Bad Ending:
    Raizo was defeated, and Batsu's mother has been
    rescued. Finally, peace has been restored to Taiyo
    High School. Batsu realizes that his father is the
    only one who can cure his mother's illness. However,
    Batsu could see the sorror in Raizo's eyes as the
    battle continues inside his mind. Until Batsu defeats
    the evil lurking deep within Raizo, true peace will
    never return to them.
     
    Good Ending:
    Batsu: Mom! Mom!...Snap out of it! Please!
    Shizuku: Batsu...P...Please forgive your father...
    Batsu: Mother? But...the atrocities of Justice High
    School casued many to suffer!
    Shizuku: It is true that your father created the school 
    in order this country. But he did not intend to make
    innocent people suffer. Your father was deeply 
    troubled about the way of life for the Ninja...They
    must always follow their superior's orders and 
    innocent people suffer, despite their own objections.
    So he tried to change the world by himself...Through
    the power of education, he wanted to create a world
    there that way of life would not be necessary.
    Batsu: But then why did he leave us? When we were
    having hard times, where was he?!
    Shizuku: He had ties to the Ninja clan which had to
    be broken in order to pursue his ambition of creating
    the school. The people he used to deal with intended
    to kill him, and he lad to leave in order to protect us...
    But now that sturggle is in the past...You've grown
    up...It's time for you to help your father.
    Batsu:: I understand...I have the power to change
    this country, and I will...at any cost!
    
    Two weeks later...
    
    Kyosuke: Hey Batsu, what happened to your head?
    Batsu: My father whacked me after I showed him my
    last report card. And now my mom is completely on
    his side!...
    Hinata: Ha ha ha! I guess it will be a while before you
    can change this country!
    Kyosuke: That's for sure! Ha ha ha ha ha!! 
    
    
    
    *Hinata Wakaba:
    
    Hinata is a concerned student at Taiyo High School. 
    When she finds out the newest student at the school, 
    Batsu Ichimonji, is investigating the recent wave of 
    kidnappings among the local schools, she eagerly 
    insists on joining him, despite his insistence that he 
    didn't want any assistance. Despite this, she and 
    Kyosuke Kagami join Batsu eventually defeating the
    mastermind of the kidnappings, Hyo Imawano. Her 
    spirited work in the investigation, though, inspired the 
    other students at Taiyo to learn martial arts in order to 
    defend their school, which surprised and pleased 
    Hinata.

    SPECIAL MOVES:
    Rengekiken: QCF + P:
    Hinata will do a quick punch. If using the LP version, she'll
    do another quick punch. If using the HP version, she'll do
    a double-punch with an orb in front of it.
    
    Shoyouken: F, D, DF + P:
    Hinata will do a Shoyouken that's similar to Sakura's version.
    The LP version will go forward and the HP version will do a
    quick sidestep then go forward with a flaming fist. Both
    version will do one hit.
    
    Enbukyaku: QCB + K (also in air):
    Hinata will do a similar Senpuu Kyaku except she has more
    air time and her leg is engulfed in flames.
    
    Renkyakudan: QCF + K (only in air, can be repeated three 
    times):
    Hinata will kick in the air which aims her sneaker down
    to the ground. It can be repeated up to three times and
    can gives the ability to float after each kick done.
    
    
    BURNING VIGOR ATTACKS:
    Fire Senpuu-Kyaku: QCBx2 + K:
    Hinata will do an extended version of her Enbukyaku
    except she'll remain on the same spot she stands once
    the move is done.
    
    Rival Launcher: QCBx2 + P rapidly:
    Hinata does her launcher as it raises the opponent in
    the air as she does an HK, LP, D + HK combination.
    
    
    TEAM-UP TECHNIQUE:
    Guts and Power: P + K:
    The player will do unleash a short forcefield surrounding
    and if it hits the opponent, Hinata will come in and give
    more confidence to the player which adds in 5 more 
    super meters.
    
    
    ENDINGS:
    Bad Ending:
    Raizo was defeated, and Batsu's mother has been rescued.
    Finally, peace has been restored to Taiyo High School.
    However, the laughter of the students hides their true
    feelings of fear. Hinata is different...She will never be afraid 
    again. She is determined to fight against any threat, for
    herself, and for her dear friends.
    
    Good Ending:
    Batus: What happened, Hinata? We've won...Why aren't
    you happy?
    Hinata: You know...I used to say mean things to my class-
    mates, and call them names like "chicken" or "wimp"...
    Everyone: One two! One two!
    Hinata: Wha...What's happening?
    Class Leader: Oh, Hinata! I think we are finally to fight!
    Hinata: What...What do you mean?
    Class Leader: I'm sorry I wasn't so cooperate when you
    asked me...We were afraid because we did not have any
    experience in martial arts unlike you. After we saw you
    fight, we were inspired...We talked each other and started
    training to protect our school. You know, we all care
    about this school, too! Well, I'm still afraid that we might
    be a burden on you...Hey...Huh?!
    Hinata: Thank you so much! You guys are the greatest!
    Class Leader: I'm so happy to hear that, but please don't
    hug me now. My body aches all over from this severe
    training! Ouch! (Cough cough!)
    Hinata: Oh..Oh, I'm sorry! 
    Batsu: Ha ha ha ha ha!
    
    
    
    *Kyosuke Kagami:
    
    Kyosuke is introduced as a student at Taiyo High School, 
    and the head of the school's discinplinary council. When 
    Taiyo students and employees are being kidnapped, Kyosuke 
    insists that because of his position, that he join Batsu Ichimonji 
    and Hinata Wakaba in their investigation of the incidents.
    
    However, it turns out Kyosuke is working for the organizers of 
    the kidnappings and attacks, Justice High School, specifically 
    his uncle Raizo Imawano and twin older brother (and true 
    mastermind) Hyo Imawano. In fact, Kyosuke was the one 
    who kidnapped Batsu's mother, Shizuku. However, his work 
    with Batsu and Hinata slowly convinced him that Hyo's way 
    to reform society through force was not the best route to take. 
    Eventually, he comes clean about his loyalties to his class-
    mates, and tells them about Hyo's plans. The trio eventually 
    faces off against both Raizo, followed by Hyo, both of whom 
    they defeat. These defeats allow Kyosuke to convince Hyo 
    that there was another way to realize his dream of reforming 
    society, an argument Hyo takes to heart.

    Kyosuke waves his hands around as it unleashes 2
    projectile waves that'll combine into one going forward
    but fades out at mid-range.
    
    Shadow Cut Kick: QCF + K (also in air):
    Kyosuke does a flip kick.
    
    Lightning Upper: F, D, DF + P:
    Kyosuke waves one hand up with it rises a lightning
    pillar in front of him.
    
    Shadow Wave: QCF + P (only in air):
    Kyosuke waves one hand forward in the air that does 
    a projectile wave for a very short period of time.
    
    Lightning Strike: QCB + P:
    Kyosuke waves one hand down as he jumps forward
    doing a striking attack with his arm surrounded by
    lightning.
    
    
    BURNING VIGOR ATTACKS:
    Super Cross Cutter: QCFx2 + P:
    Kyosuke does an extended version of his Cross Cutter
    that unleashes 5 projectile waves that'll combine into
    one going forward but fades out at 5/6 range.
    
    Double Shadow Cut Kick: QCFx2 + K (also in air):
    Kyosuke does two Shadow Cut Kicks and finishes 
    it off with a multi-hit Shadow Wave. You can do an
    additional Shadow Cut Kick after the Shadow Waves.
    
    
    TEAM-UP TECHNIQUE:
    Last Symphony: P + K:
    The player will do a spinning punch and if it connects,
    Kyosuke and the player will do a barrage of normals
    together with Kyosuke finishing it off with a Shadow
    Cut Kick and the player giving the final hit with a flip
    kick.
    
    
    ENDINGS:
    Bad Ending:
    Raizo was defeated, and Batsu's mother has been rescued.
    Finally, peace has been restored to Taiyo High School.
    However, only Kyosuke knows the truth. The true danger
    will not go away until his brother is defeated. Kyosuke
    realizes that not fighting the evil, is evil in itself. He no 
    longer has problem standing up to his brother, and knows
    that he my must defeat his brother in order to save him.
    Kyosuke's determination will never be shaken again...
    
    Good Ending:
    Kyosuke: Brother...
    Hyo:" That voice...? Is that Kyosuke? I don't understand
    how I could be defated after all my training...W...What
    kind of training did you have?
    Kyosuke: I haven't trained brother. In fact, I haven't
    changed at all. I'm still the same weakling that I used to
    be...Lagging behind you in everything I do. I just realized
    that if I believe in the hearts of people, I could conquer
    any hardship!
    Hyo: To believe in the hearts of people...That's some-
    thing I had forgotten a long time ago...
    Kyosuke: Brother...It's not too late yet.....
    Hyo: I hope so...Yes, you are proof that it is possible...
    Perhaps...
    Kyosuke: That's right. You can do it...You are not alone
    anymore...
    
    
    
    
    *Hayato Nekketsu:
    
    After a number of his students were attacked, Hayato saw 
    the need to take matters into his own hands to prevent 
    further victims and thus became the only Taiyo High School 
    staff member to take part in the kidnapping investigation in 
    Rival Schools, supporting the Taiyo student investigation 
    team in their fight. Being a teacher, he knew more about the 
    background of Justice High School than the students, and 
    was one of the earlier people to suspect it as the source of 
    the mysterious events. It was during his enquiries that he 
    became acquainted with Hideo and Kyoko.

    SPECIAL MOVES:
    Counter Thrust: QCB + P:
    Hayato takes a step forward as he surrounded by a force-
    field for a short time then reacts after with a flaming punch
    that can do 3 hits.
    
    Scolding Slash: QCF + P (also in air):
    Hayato does a few swinging hits with his stick then ends 
    it with a harder hit after if using the HP version. The LP 
    version just does a regular hit instead.
    
    Devastation Kick: QCF + K:
    Hayato does a backflip kick then follows it up with a 
    vertical spinning kick after.
    
    Second Kick: QCB + K:
    Hayato does a simple dashing kick on the spot he stands
    without even running.
    
    
    BURNING VIGOR ATTACKS:
    P.E. Smack: QCFx2 + P:
    Hayato does his standing HP and if it connects, it results
    with the opponent doing push-ups while Hayato smacks 
    his stick 3 times to the ground as he yells at the same
    time. After that, he does a brutally hard shot while the
    opponent is still on push-up position.
    
    Super Counter Thurst: QCBx2 + P:
    Hayato does an extended version of his Counter Thrust
    except he does a bit more running and it does more hits.
    
    
    TEAM-UP TECHNIQUE:
    Sphere of Confidence: P + K:
    The player will do an uppercut and if it connects, Hayato
    will appear behind the player as he gives them a few hits
    on the back with his stick. With each hit, it charges in an
    orb fast then'll unleash a projectile attack that's similar to 
    Batsu's Super Guts Bullet.
    
    
    ENDINGS:
    Hayato is a secret character and has no endings.

    2) Gorin High School:
    
    *Shoma Sawamura:
    
    Shoma's involvement began when an attack on Gorin High
    School hospitalized his brother, the Gorin ace pitcher Shuuichi. 
    Worried that Shuuichi's injuries would prevent him from joining 
    the professional baseball circuits and hence enraged at who-
    ever had been behind this, Shoma immediately teamed up with 
    Natsu and Roberto in search of the culprits. Although he 
    separated from them following a quarrel and was as a result 
    captured by Justice High School, the experience as a whole 
    established a solidarity of friendship between the three of 
    them.

    Fast Ball: QCF + P (also in air):
    Shoma throws a baseball to the opponent.
    
    Grand Slam Smash: F, D, DF + P:
    Shoma does a 360-degree spin with his bat and ends it
    with an F + HP.
    
    Homicide Slide: QCF + K:
    Shoma does a simple dashing kick on the spot he stood
    at without running.
    
    Catcher: HCB + P:
    Shoma lunges his bat to the opponent and if it connects,
    does a spinning release after.
    
    Baseline Shuffle: B + LK + HK:
    Shoma does a slow-moving sidestep ready to do an
    attack during the movement.
    
    
    BURNING VIGOR ATTACKS:
    Hundred Balls: QCFx2 + P (also in air):
    Shoma does an extended version of his Fast Ball as he 
    throws a barrage of baseballs which can do as much as
    4 hits.
    
    Homerun Hitter: QCBx2 + P:
    Shoma does an extended version of his F + HP as it
    launches the opponent on fire if it hits but has slow 
    startup time.
    
    
    TEAM-UP TECHNIQUE:
    Grand Slam: P + K:
    The player will do an uppercut and if it connects, it will
    follow-up to a launching serve then an air serve which
    leads the opponent to Shoma doing a Homerun Hitter.
    
    
    ENDINGS:
    Bad Ending:
    With Raizo defeated, the three go home together. Finally,
    peace has been restored to Gorin High School. However,
    Shoma would not be able to find true peace. His wounded
    brother's condition worsened. The doctors could not
    understand why, but Shoma knew the reason. Shoma's
    brother was trying to tell him the identity of the true enemy.
    He is not my idol anymore, but he is my dear brother...I
    must protect him.
    
    Good Ending:
    Shoma: I'm sorry, brother. I could have protected you if I 
    had not been suspended from school...It's my fault that 
    your dream has been destroyed!
    Shuichi: Don't worry...My doctor told me that my arm would
    heal in time.
    Shoma: Really?! That's great!
    Shuichi: Yes, But it won'y heal in time for me to play as a 
    pro as sson as I graduate from high school. I'm going to go
    to the university first, and then give pro ball a shot. You 
    will be the first to play as a pro.
    Shoma: Stop joking around! A tiny bench warmer like me
    could never be a pro player!
    Shuichi: Haven't you noticed that you've gotten taller this
    year? Your baseball skills and height will improve as you
    continue to train. I think you'll be even taller than your
    girlfriend over there.
    Shoma: Girl...Girlfriend?! What are you talking about? Did
    they hit you on the head, too?
    Roberto: You let your feeling show through so easily! I'm
    surprised you chose a sport like baseball in the first place!
    Shuichi: Well, well...He must get ride of his short-temper
    before he can become a professional baseball player...
    
    
    
    *Natsu Ayuhara:
    
    Natsu is a star player for the volleyball club and coaches the 
    junior high students. The male students at Gorin fear her 
    because of her strength, height, and tomboyish appearance. 
    For these same reasons, she is admired by her juniors and 
    other younger female students.
    
    An attack from Justice High elements injures some of her 
    juniors. In order to investigate, Natsu joins Shoma and 
    Roberto. However, she found herself arguing with Shoma
     more than accomplishing anything.Consequently, Shoma 
    is kidnapped by Justice High. Natsu and Roberto, along 
    with Nagare, come to his rescue.

    Jumping Serve: QCF + P (also in air):
    Natsu spikes a volleyball forward.
    
    Rolling Recieve: QCB + P:
    Natsu does a short ground roll then does a launcher right
    after.
    
    Sliding Recieve: F, D, DF + P:
    Natsu does a diving attack on the ground.
    
    Tokkun Spike: QCB + P (only in air):
    Natsu does a spike attack in the air.
    
    Set N' Spike: HCB + K:
    Natsu's command grab as she serves the opponent and
    does a spike while she jumps forward. The opponent can
    block this.
    
    
    BURNING VIGOR ATTACKS:
    Thousand Spikes: QCFx2 + P:
    Natsu does an extended version of her Jumping Serve

    Roberto and Natsu set out to rescue him. In battling with the

    When her older brother Daigo becomes a victim of the 
    student kidnappings, Akira becomes determined to find 
    out what happened to him. Because her brother's school, 
    Gedo High, is a boys-only school, she dons a full biker 
    suit and helmet and passes herself off as Daigo's brother. 
    At Gedo High, she picks two of her brother's closest sub-
    ordinates, Edge and Gan Isurugi to help find out what 
    happened to Daigo, doing her best to hide her true identity 
    from the gangsters. Eventually, they find that Daigo has 
    become a brainwashed slave of Hyo Imawano, and free 
    him from the brainwashing. Akira finally reveals her true 
    identity to her new friends, much to the surprise of Edge 
    and Gan.
    
    Akira's biker disguise is the costume she starts out with at 
    the start of Rival Schools, and the game for the most part 
    assumes her to be male, with the game's text referring to her 
    as male, and the revelation that she is female only unveiled 
    in her 'good ending' in the game. An Akira without the helmet 
    and with a tank top instead of a biker jacket can be unlocked 
    as a separate character, with similar, but not entirely the same 
    moves as 'original' Akira; most notably, her two-person team 
    up attack is different. Interestingly, this new team-up attack 
    is mostly identical to the method EVA-01 and EVA-02 used 
    to defeat Israfel in the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion.

    Gan agree to help out the sibling of their boss. Edge initially 
    doubted Akira's approach in their search, but eventually 
    gained respect and trust for the sibling of his boss. Despite 
    Akira actually turning out to be Daigo's sister, Edge accepted 
    her and realized he could learn a lot from her.

    Strangely enough, he also finds that he still wants to search 
    and rescue the big boss. He cannot bring to abandon a
    friend who needs his help. Edge may have finally grown 
    up, his compassion being the first step towards becoming
    a true leader...

    so cool!
    Edge: Not really. I can crush any opponent with ease, you

    Junior B: By the way, the guys from the neighboring school

    leadership, he eventually gained respect for his leader's sibling. 
    Despite Akira revealing herself to be Daigo's sister upon their

    see the noble spirit of the big boss, emerging within Gan.

    When a rash of kidnappings and assaults hit the other 
    schools, Daigo suspected that the persons behind the 
    attacks were people from Justice High School. Going 
    alone, he confronted Justice's Hyo Imawano, but was 
    easily defeated (with Hyo giving him a scar over his right 
    eye) and turned into a brainwashed soldier of the school. 
    It would not be until his sister Akira, along with two of 
    his subordinates, Edge and Gan, broke into the school 
    that he would be freed from the brainwashing.

    *Roy Bromwell:
    
    Roy is introduced in Rival Schools as a cocky foreign 
    exchange student. He is about to leave for the US with 
    Tiffany Lords when his father calls him and asks him to 
    investigate the kidnappings happening at other schools. 
    Joined by Tiffany and Boman Delgado, Roy leads an 
    investigation to find out the persons behind the kid-
    napping. This investigation leads him and his friends to 
    Justice High School, where they were defeated, and turned 
    into brainwashed slaves to the school. Eventually, through 
    the help of Batsu Ichimonji and other students, Roy and 
    his friends manage to snap out of their brainwashing and 
    help bring down Justice High School's plans.
    
    Though he initially saw the investiagation to get revenge 
    on the Japanese (his grandfather had been shot in the leg 
    by a Japanese soldier in World War II, something which 
    left Roy bitter about the country) and prove American 
    superiority, the experience humbled Roy quite a bit. His 
    experience, as well as being freed by and working with the 
    students from Taiyo High School, led to Roy putting aside 
    his hatred for the Japanese (aside from having a friendly 
    rivalry with Batsu) and working toward a goal of peace 
    and cooperation.

    However, Roy had an uneasy feeling, even after their
    victory. In a report they recieved regarding the com-
    pletetion of their inverstigation, it had been stated
    that Justice High School may not have been totally
    destoryed. Although Roy desperately wished to return 
    home, he somehow felt attached to this country. He
    remembered how friendships had been made through 
    fierece battles, and he felt as though an important 
    international relationship had been restablished. As
    Roy tore the investigation report to pieces, his face
    showed a new smile and fighting spirit.
    
    Good Ending:
    Tiffany: Roy, what's up? We're going home now! Why
    do you look so gloomy?
    Roy: Well...It's nothing.
    Tiffany: Hee hee hee! I knew it, Roy. You don't wanna
    leave Batsu and his friends behind, do you?
    Roy: It's strange...I've hated this country so much, but
    in the end...
    Tiffany: It's not too late! Should we cancel our flight?
    Roy: No, I'm going back to America. I know how I'll be 
    able to help them.
    Tiffany: What? What do you mean?
    Roy: Tiffany, I can't tell you yet...
    
    20 years later, Roy became the president of the United
    States. Through his efforts, the relationship between
    Batsu's country and U.S. improved dramatically, and
    years of economical friction were put to rest. Both
    countries would benefit greatly from the leadership
    of a man who knew first-hand, the importance of
    cooperation, and friendship.
    
    
    *Tiffany Lords:
    
    At the start of Rival Schools, Tiffany is introduced with 
    her friend and classmate Roy. Like Roy, she is about to 
    leave for the United States when Roy is ordered to stay 
    in Japan to investigate the recent school kidnappings. 
    Tiffany tags along in his investigation to help out, but 
    secretly wanted to spend time with Roy and hopefully 
    impress him. She, Roy and Boman are eventually captured 
    and turned into brainwashed agents of Justice High School, 
    though they are eventually freed by students from Taiyo 
    High School. After the defeat of Justice High, Tiffany is 
    disappointed by Roy's decision to return to the United 
    States to study for a future in politics, but resolves to 
    train to be a bodyguard so she can always be with him.

    future, even after their victory. In a report they recieved 
    regarding the completion of their investigation, it had
    been stated that Justice High School may not have
    been totally destoryed. Although her dad promised
    that he would do everything to make her happy once
    she returned to the United States, she realized that 
    leaving the country would not be right for her. She
    no longer cares about what others can do for her, but 
    instead, she cares about what she can do for others. 
    Her beloved friends and Roy are in this country.
    Tiffany's new attitude brought forth the spirit and
    face of a young woman, ready to take on the world.

    Tiffany: Roy, you're so mean! It's so not cool for you to
    leave me behind, just because want to go to Harvard and

    When Roy and Tiffany set out to investigate the violence 
    and kidnappings on other schools, Boman joins them, 
    albiet reluctantly because he knew violence during their 
    investigation was inevitable, despite his personal beliefs. 
    Along with his friends, he is captured and brainwashed 
    into being an agent for Justice High School, but later freed 
    by students from Taiyo High School. The investigation 
    convinces Boman that many of the Japanese are good 
    people and he later chooses to stay in Japan to continue 
    his education, while Roy and Tiffany return to the United 
    States.

    and alien to him. He also knows that he will have to fight
    once again, for the lives of his dear friends...

    Tiffany: What? You don't want to return to the states
    anymore?
    Boman: That's right, Tiffany. I misunderstood the people in 
    this country, and thought they had no respect for beliefs
    and values. Of course there are some bad people. But there
    are good ones too. I think we've all learned that from or
    battles. I wish to stay in this country as a preacher. I'll do
    my best to function as a bridge between the two countries.
    Roy: I understand. We'll miss you, and we'll do our best
    when we get back. Take care of yourself, okay?
    Tiffany: You go, Boman!
    Batsu: Hey, it's not over yet?
    Boman: Of course not. You shouldn't complain about this

    from their brainwashing by the students fighting against 
    Hyo. During this ordeal, Hideo becomes close to Kyoko, 
    and eventually proposes to her, which she accepts.

    arrived at the school to investigate, and Raizo was arrested 
    for his crimes. However, Hideo has come to realize the 
    mastermind behind the Justice High School scandal was
    not Raizo...It could have been the school's congress leader
    who suddenly disappeared after the plot had been exposed.
    During his battles, the students Hideo met taught him 
    the meaning of true courage. Now, it is time for Hideo to 
    become their symbol of courage. He is determined to use 
    that strength for the benefit of all students...

    Hideo: It's surprising...Students were the ones to teach me,
    this time.
    Kyoko: I feel the same way...
    Hideo: I'll be straight with you...I am the successor of
    Shimazu-style Karate.
    Kyoko: Oh...You are?!
    Hideo: I'm embarrassed to say this, but after my father 
    passed away, our family argued fiercely about who 
    should be the successor. I hated their quarrels, so I ran
    away from home. Something vital to all martial artists,
    is their bravery...I forgot about that, and it was no
    wonder that I was brainwashed so easily.
    Kyoko: I must try to be brave, like those students, from
    now on...
    Hideo: Kyoko!
    Kyoko: Yes?!
    Hideo: Well, um...I've...always...wanted to ask you...some-
    thing...
    Kyoko: Huh?!
    Hideo: You know...Please...m...ma...
    Kyoko: Yes.

    *Kyoko Minazuki:
    
    At the start of Rival Schools, Kyoko is ordered by Raizo 
    Imawano, Justice High's principal, to go with Hideo to search 
    for recruits for enroll to the school. Kyoko is suspect of her 
    employer's motives, but when she and Hideo confront Raizo 
    about the reasons for their mission, the teachers are defeated 
    and brainwashed by Raizo's nephew, Hyo. The two would be 
    broken out of their mind control by other students inves-
    tigating Justice, and their spirit in defeating Justice would
    inspire Kyoko to quit her position as nurse and become a 
    teacher. Later on, she accepts a marriage proposal from 
    Hideo, much to the surprise of her colleague.

    arrested for his crimes. However, Kyoko knows that
    Raizo's arrest is only the beginning. Although she felt
    her country was hopeless, her struggle has brought her
    a greater understanding. After seeing the students
    fighting with pure hearts, she realizes that hope exists
    for all people. Now, Kyoko will do everything in her
    power to defend the people and the country...

    Kyoko: Long time no see, professor...
    Professor: Oh, Kyoko! You've finally returned to my 
    hospital! I missed you...You know, I always thought
    you were quite talented! Don't worry, if you stay with
    me, you will never lose your job again!

    Professor: Hmm? What's this?
    Kyoko: That magazine has an article that exposes your
    illegal relationshop with the medicine manufacturer. I've
    prosecuted you under my own name.
    Professor: Do you understand what you have done?!
    You're through! You'll never return to the medical
    science world!
    Kyoko: That's fine...My mission is to educate people
    so they don't become evil and corrupt like you.
    
    Kyoko: I'm sorry...
    Hideo: Huh? Why apologize to me?
    Kyoko: Because of my show of defiance against the
    professor, I may have put you in danget too, Mr.
    Shimazu...
    Hideo: Leave them to me! Whoever my try to attack 
    you, I, of the ninth grade of Karate, will punish them
    myself!
    Kyoko: Thank you! It's comforting to know that you'll
    be around.
    
    
    
    *Raizo Imawano:
    
    Raizo would accept his nephew, Hyo, as a student at the 
    school. Noticing the young man's potential, Raizo thought 
    Hyo as the perfect person to replace him as the head of 
    Justice High School and to realize his dreams. However, 
    Hyo's training under his now-dead father Mugen had given 
    the young man a different ideal on how to realize his dream - 
    namely through force. It would be Hyo who formulated 
    the plan to increase Justice's influence through kidnappings 
    and attacks; and with Hyo's twin bother, Kyosuke, working 
    with them, Raizo would be an unwilling particpant in some 
    of these activities; most notably capturing his estranged 
    wife, Shizuku, who was now working at a local school. Soon, 
    Raizo confronted Hyo about his ambitions, but it was in 
    vain, as he was defeated and brainwashed to fight his son, 
    Batsu. It was only through his defeat could father and son 
    be reunited and stop Hyo's mad plans with help from Taiyo 
    High School.

    Raizo: What happened to my students?
    Batsu: Don't worry. They have been released from the
    brainwashing, have gone back to their normal lives.
    Raizo: Oh, okay...I built my school to change this
    country...But I nolonger care about that...Now if my
    students can grow and learn to become respected 
    citizens. The students I had...One could say that
    they could not be respected...They all were brain-
    washed so easily...Perhaps they were useless after
    all! 
    Batsu: I don't think so. The other day I had a chance
    to look over some of the textbooks at your school,
    and I could not understand them one bit. Since your
    students are smart enough to be able to understand
    them, I guess they are much more useful to the society
    than myself, right?
    Raizo: Ha! Yes, that's true! I shouldn't be so hard on
    myself. Okay, then! I'mleaving the hospital today. I'll
    begin a new kind of training for my students, starting
    tomorrow. Their minds need to be strong, as well as
    smart! And Batsu, it's not acceptable that you don't
    understand my school's textbooks! You'll have to
    really study! I'll show you!
    Batsu: What? No thanks dad! Gotta go!
    
    
    
    
    *Hyo Imawano:
    
    Hyo enrolled at Justice High School, the academy run by 
    his uncle, Raizo Imawano. Hyo quickly established himself 
    as the top student of the school, and became the school's 
    student president. While Raizo thought Hyo would be perfect 
    to succeed him as head of Justice High School and continue 
    the school's goal or reforming the world, Hyo (still influenced 
    by his father's lessons) believed that the only way to fix the 
    world was through force and coercion.
    
    Hyo would be the one that formulated the plan to increase 
    Justice's influence through kidnapping and brainwashing, 
    and gained support from Raizo, as well as his estranged 
    brother Kyosuke (now a student at Taiyo High School). 
    Initially, the plan succeeded wildly. Hyo even brainwashed 
    his own uncle when Raizo brought up objections about the 
    plan. However, Hyo soon found that his brainwashing was 
    failing in the face of the very things he tried to eliminate, 
    friendship and love. Eventually, Hyo himself faced down 
    students from Taiyo High, including his brother Kyosuke 
    and long-lost cousin Batsu, and was defeated. However, 
    the defeat allowed Kyosuke to reach out to Hyo and 
    convince him that the world could be changed through 
    friendship, not in spite of it.

    the opponent will be held as Hyo slashes them up with

    is missing...Their eyes are different from those of the ones
    who claim to be able to trust others...Kyosuke...How come
    you have such eyes...What changed you...? Yes, I can
    rememeber...Our eyes used to have the same glow...Ugh...
    It's that headache again...Uhhhh...Father, father! What
    should I do?! I feel another side of myself inside of me!

    Soukuu-Hadoken: QCF + P (only in air):
    Sakura will unleash out her Hadoken in the air that'll
    aim at a downwards angle.
    
    Tengyou-Hadoken: QCB + P:
    Sakura will unleasher out her Hadoken that'll aim at
    an upwards 45-degree angle.
    
    Shunpuu-Kyaku: QCB + K (also in air):
    Sakura will hop forward as she does a multi-hit spin
    kick like the classic move.
    
    Shouou-Ken: F, D, DF + P:
    Sakura will run forward a bit as she does a multi-hit
    rising uppercut attack. If using the HP version, she'll
    stall on startup then does her move.
    
    
    BURNING VIGOR ATTACKS:
    Shinkuu-Hadoken: QCFx2 + P:
    Sakura does an extended version of her Hadoken but
    has 5/6 range and does 5 hits.
    
    Shinkuu Tengyou-Hadoken: QCBx2 + P:
    Sakura does an extended version of her Tengyou-
    Hadoken that can do 5 hits depending on the angle
    it hits from.
    
    Haru-Ichiban: QCBx2 + K:
    Sakura will do 4 crouching HK's in a row and will
    finish it off with an F + HK afterwards,
    
    Midare Zakura: QCFx2 + K:
    Sakura will do 2 Shouou-Ken's which'll do with 2 hits
    each then'lldo a more vertical Shouou-Ken that'll do
    6 hits from there.
    
    
    TEAM-UP TECHNIQUE:
    Shungokusatsu: P + K:
    The player will do a command grab and if it connects,
    Sakura will appear behind the opponent as she does 
    a barrage of normals but without us witnessing the
    attack with the screen going white with explosions
    in certain hits. This attack is similarly and modified 
    from Akuma's Shungokusatsu.
    
    
    ENDINGS:
    Bad Ending:
    With the defeat of Raizo, the captured students returned
    to their schools after being released from their brainwashing.
    Peace was restored to the schools, and students could be
    happy and free once again. However, Sakura thinks to
    herself about what had happened. She did not feel the
    usual sense of accomplishment after defeating Raizo,
    who had been among the strongest of opponents. She
    knows that the threat still exists, and may challenge her
    at anytime. As Sakura trains herself for the dangers ahead, 
    her pride as a Street Fighter can be seen, stronger than 
    ever.
    
    
    Good Ending:
    Sakura: Will, it looks like there's nothing left to be worried
    about! These schools won't be able the victims of attacks
    anymore! What? What's happening to me? My body feels
    a new sensation...It feels as though it is being rejuvenated
    with power! I've never felt this way after regular street
    fighting...Why...? Hmm...The only difference was that I was
    fighting to protect my school...Now I understand! That
    must be the feeling that comes from the real fight! He must
    also be fighting...fighting for something important to him...
    What about me...? What will I fight for now...? Oh well, it
    doesn't matter now! Maybe I'll think about it after my 
    next battle!

    down here as it hurts my fingers like hell but it gets the job 
    done very well. One of the best 3D fighters made by Capcom 
    (wasn't much a fan of Street Fighter EX series but I liked 
    Project Justice and Plasma Sword) and certainly enjoyed 
    playing it non-stop in the late '90s.Another non-mainstream

    vs. SNK 2, dead like Capcom Fighting Evolution, non-
    mainstream like Vampire Savior or classic like Street
    Fighter II: Champion Edition, step up and do your thing
