           Please Note - Guidelines for submitting combos!
           As of now (September 9th), these guidelines will take effect.
              + Combos will only be accepted for UMK3 characters. This
                includes Jade, Scorpion, Reptile, Kitana, Mileena, Ermac,
                Classic Sub-Zero, and Human Smoke.
              + At this point in time, we feel that combos under 40-50% are
                pretty much useless, so don't send unless the combos are very
                damaging. The only two exceptions to this rule are combos for
                Jade and Mileena, for which there aren't very many to begin
                with.
              + Combos must either a)Work against humans 100% of the time or
                b)Work against ALL CPU characters 100% of the time. This
                means no more "this combo only works against Sheeva" or "this
                combo only works against the male ninjas sometimes."
              + No cheezy combo patters will be accepted. This includes (but
                is not limited to) 2 or 3 hit combos you can do against the
                computer over and over again for 100% damage. If you want to
                cheeze your way through the game, this FAQ is not for you.
              + Any combos where you repeatedly press high punch or low punch
                rapidly to make the opponent stagger back and then throw a
                spear or some other special move will be disqualified. We
                have tested these combos extensively and are just too quirky
                to be 100% effective.
              + Please note that this FAQ is pretty low on the priority list
                right now, especially with Trilogy on the way soon. Even if
                you submit a combo that makes it, it may be awhile before it
                gets added.

    Intro
    
           This is a FAQ that attempts to cover most, if not all of the
           combination attacks for UMK3. This FAQ will not cover the old
           characters and all of their old comos. You can find a list of
           these by clicking here.
           This FAQ will, however, cover new combos for old characters as
           well as the new character combos.
           If the combos you submit follow the guidelines we have set up and
           if we can test and confirm them, they will be added to the FAQ and
           you will be given proper credit.

    What's New
    
           September 9th
              + New guidelines for submitting combos
           Revision #31
           Hard to believe, but it's been 2 1/2 months since this FAQ has
           been updated. This update is mostly just filling in the blanks for
           the combos listed without the proper percentages. There's also a
           few new combos here and there, but overall this is just a touchup,
           not a major update. Major thanx goes out to Matt Dawley for the
           percentages and new combos.
              + Added: 4 new Ermac combos
              + Added: 1 new Human Smoke combo
              + Added: 1 new Mileena combo
              + Added: 3 new Classic Sub-Zero combos
              + Added: Lots of percentages for old combos, nothing to really
                get excited over.
              + Fixed: The links to the gfx. They were bum links and that's

           B+Button Press back on the joystick and press the specified button
           F+Button Press foward on the joystick and press specified button
           U+Button Press up on the the joystick and the specified button
           D+Button Press up on the the joystick and the specified button
           JK Jump Kick
           RH Roundhouse
           Standing HP,LP,HK,LK - Just do the punch or kick standing up,
           usually used to knock someone out or the air.
           Hop Kick - Vertical Kick
           Vertical Punch (Crossover Punch) - Means jump over the opponent
           and punch them from behind.
           Cross Kick (Crossover Kick) - Means jump over opponent and kick
           them from behind.
           Combo Initializers - These are a set of one or more hits that are
           for setting up a longer combo. They are sometimes (but not always)
           combos in themselves.
           Example - One of Reptile's combo initializers is HP, HP, D+LP When
           you do this 3-hit, it sends the opponent flying into the air, thus
           setting them up for some kind of other attack. The "other" attacks
           will be listed below each combo initializer.
           Basic Combos - These are usually simple 3 or 4 hit combos. I will
           try to give them their own names whenever possible.
           Best Combos - Usually the highest number of hits you can get from
           a combo that starts on the ground. (I will add best combos for the
           rest of the new characters once I have a chance to verify percent
           damages.)

           (Slam = Telekinetic Slam... B,D,B,HK which works like a reverse
           dragon punch) The CPU apparently doesn't count the slam as part of

           * Only noteworthy thing about all these combos is that your
           opponent needs to be pushed up against the wall with the last
           Standing HP. If he's not pushed up against, he'll just keep
           falling back at an angle and the uppercut won't connect.

      Note about Smoke's bitch slap and infinite combos
           Using the bitch slap combo, it is possible to pull of a 100%
           combo. There's no one single way you have to start it out, it
           really doesn't matter. Just do spear, bitch slap, teleport, and
           repeat .. doesn't necessarily have to be in that order. This is a
           cheezy and unrecommended combo that may not work against humans.
           The timing must be very accurate when performing the bitch slap or
           else the combo can be broken. You can also do it by starting off
           with the bitch slap, walk forward, standing, HP, spear, and then
           keep repeating.

    Universal (ALL CHARACTERS) You can now initialize combos by using a jump punch
    and then doing a character's regular combo that starts off with a punch.
    
    Here's an example:
    Normally, Subzero's 6-Hit would be HP, HP, LP, LK, HK, B+HK for 23% damage.
    
    But you can now add a jump punch to it at the beginning: Here's what it looks
    like:
    Jump in, press HP, then ... HP, HP, LP, LK, HK, B+HK... so that's [7-Hit 33%]
    
    This works for all characters.
    
    I think the basic formula to it is: Whatever the percentage was for a regular
    combo does, a jump punch does various amounts of damage depending on the combo.
    
    NOTE You can also initialize a kick combo with a jump punch. For example, using
    Scorpion, jump in with a punch and then do his Basic Kick Uppercut (HK, HK, LK,
    LK) for a 5-hit combo
    
      The Vertical Kick Theory
      
    Just like jump punches, you can start a ground combo with a vertical kick. You
    get in front of the opponent, jump up, and press kick on the way down and then
    proceed to do the combo. Although this does a little more damage than the jump
    punch, it is easily noticed and only works well in certain situations, like
    when the opponent if frozen.
    
    Combos That Have Changed Kabal - His high hitting combos have been weakened
    considerably.
    Smoke - His cheesy 100% combo (LP, Harpoon, LP) has apparently been taken out
    in the upgrade.
    Liu Kang - Can no longer do a combo after a bicycle kick
