    On the car select screen, there are two hidden cars to be unlocked using the gearstick:

Unlockables

  • Class upgrading methodology from N tune to SSS

    In order to upgrade your car class from stock N tune to the top tier SSS class, other than spending a lot of money, the following requirements are necessary.

    The level upgrading is as follows..

    N -> C7 -> C6 -> ... -> C1 -> B7 -> B6 -> ... -> B1 -> A7 -> A6 -> ... A1 -> S7 -> S6 -> ... -> S1 -> S -> SS -> SSS (Maximum class) - That means a maximum of 31 level ups required.

    Note that below, 1 ROUND of story mode refers to 80 opponents (level 1-80).

    LEVEL UPGRADE - 10 Outrun ModeFor each course map, every 10 opponent wins gives you one level.
    LEVEL UPGRADE - 10 Outrun ModeFor each course map, every 10 opponents defeated with S rank gives you one level.
    LEVEL UPGRADE - Human BattlesOne additional level is added for the following battle stars obtained at -> 20, 50, 100, 400 and 1000
    LEVEL UPGRADE - Story mode 1-40Every completion of a Class, one level is added.
    LEVEL UPGRADE - Story mode 2nd round onwardsEvery ROUND of story mode completed (80 opponents), one level is added.
    LEVEL UPGRADE - Story mode 40-80Completion of successive 20 battles, one level is added.
