"A true gem among gems!"

STORY 5: I would be Jesting with you if I told you it had a real story. Basically your a female version of Pac Man doing the exact same thing her man-counterpart did before. Eat pills and chomp on ghosts. That's basically the story.

GAMEPLAY 9: Well I could just repeat the part about eating pills and chomping on ghosts but I suppose there is more to it than that. For those who don't know (all 5 of you) Ms Pac Man has you running around a maze scarfing down pills(would have gotten an M rating in this day and age) and eating ghosts. Sound like your cup of tea? Well it was for millions way back then. The addictive and fast pace of the game sent you Blitzing all over with the franticness of a Moogle on a Kupo nut high! But with a little Luck you can manage to progress through the levels with relative ease. Each one getting progressively harder though.
Did I mention it was addictive?

GRAPHICS 9:
Wow. Where to begin? Back in the 80's this was hot stuff. A round yellow blob with a red bow on it's head? Multicolored ghosts running around? A giant mono-colored maze? This was the cream of the crop back then. It hasn't aged very well though but you must consider the time it was made in. They are passable by today's standards.

SOUND 10:

All the old familiar sounds are back with their timeless charm. if you have fond memories of all the boops and beeps of the previous incarnation of the yellow blob, you won't be disapointed with this one. This game truly delivers in the sound department. From the opening song to the munching of pills, this is one game you won't want to stop listening to.

REPLAY VALUE 10:

It keeps you coming back for more! With levels that get tougher and tougher, faster and faster, there is no reason NOT to want to play it. It's addictive gameplay always insures the need to come back and do better than the last time.

OVERALL 9:

While the competition was fierce back in the day, with different arcades trying to suck quarters away from more than willing teens, this has proven the test of time. It's transition to the Atari was made very smoothly and more than stands up to other games of it's ilk. Donkey Kong (who was King of the apes back in the day) I'm lookin' at YOU! It truly made you WANT to play it instead of all others, and kept you coming back for more. I highly recomend this to anyone who hasn't tried it, for a fanciful blast from the past that they will not regret.
