Absolutely a good idea. If you were to implement all the little things that addons currently do for you, images, quoting, links, that would be amazing. The vast majority of users seek these things elsewhere. I would love it if you would take away the need for all these addons, it would make my experience here so much better. Spoiler tags is a GREAT idea, I can't believe this hasn't been done sooner!
