Diablo

Would anybody be interested in an HD remake of this?

If so, what would you change and what would you keep the same? My vote:
Change- skill system (give each class unique skill system. Does not have to be as robust as D2/D3), items (add tiered quality system per difficulty level, same as D2/D3), and difficulty (make it harder!)

Keep- most (all?) of the audio, available classes, and quests.

Of course, I would be thrilled if they just cleaned up the textures and added a "run" option and sold it for $15-20!

I would rather have them keep the game as it is. The only things they would have to do is put in the missing quests and fix all of the bugs.

More side-quests, more enemies, more items... Diablo himself not being a pushover. Oh, and having the 256-colour palette replaced with true colour, so that the non-quest 'boss' enemies weren't simply dodgy-looking recolours of basic mooks. Hell, just give them completely unique appearances.

Running wouldn't be bad addition either.

I wouldn't want them to **** with the skills/spells though, the fact that each character isn't set to a specific list of abilities is what makes this game unique.

to be able to pick to be a girl without being the rogue would be nice even if they call it another class like add a mage and it be a girl thats fine i tend to only play people that are my gender if i can help it

Or you know, just have a gender select instead of adding an entirely new class.

Gender selection, multi-resolution support, true color, running in dungeons, gold that doesn't take up inventory slots, and the ability to cross-load characters between single-player and multi-player games so that I don't have to (try to) use "cheat" tools to do it would all be good additions in a remake, but I'm not particularly sure I'd want to see an "HD" remake. In order for that to be practical they'd have to redo the graphics from the ground up as polygons.
