Arc III on a US Vita?

I gotta know for certain. Vita board did not help.

I know this has been asked here before in this topic:
http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/196617-arc-the-lad-collection/66181064

The answer appears to be a yes, possibly proven by this link:
http://us.playstation.com/games/arc-the-lad-iii-ps3-psp.html

While the Vita is officially listed here, the first comment states that it is not on Vita. Who is correct? I am confused. I'm thinking maybe the dude who commented did not try transferring the game from PS3.

I must own the whole trilogy, but do not own any system other than a Vita. The series looks great, and I'm not even into TRPGs. I could not find an answer to my question anywhere online.

Bonus question: How about Arc Arena?

Thank you very much for your time!

Interesting. When I found the link the comment was not there back then.
Sorry, I can only confirm the first two games. There is a player who will hopefully post here and I think played the games on Vita.
Arc 3 has some problems even on PSP so there might be some problem.

Even if you are not into TRPGs I think you will like ATL because the games are not your standard TRPG. If you played some then in comparison ATL is more simplified.
A bit more info:

Arc Arena is an add-on to Arc 2. You can battle with your monsters there for prizes and has all important aspects (blacksmith, monster upgrading...) in one place.
Item duplicating trick can be also done there and item transferring between Arc 2 saves.

I can confirm that, as of this writing, Arc 3 does not work on a US Vita with a US account. The European and Japanese stores are different and have games we do not, so they may have Arc 3.

Transferring from a PS3 will not work, it will not show up in content manager. Sometimes games purchased on a PS3 or PSP that won't transfer from PS3 are able to be downloaded through the Vita's download list on the PSN Store, but that method doesn't work at the moment either.

As for Arc Arena, I only own the disc versions, so I can't really comment on that.

If they ever do add support for them, I'll post either in this thread or make a new topic if this one is locked.

Noooo!! That is upsetting to hear, even if it is what seems to be the black sheep of the trilogy that doesn't work. Thank you both for your answers, they are very much appreciated! I will still get the first two when I can and I'll keep this board favorited for future visits.

It looks for now like PSN is neglecting to release more PSone games, which is quite sad. At least reviews of 1 & 2 have indicated to me that they are a full experience, though 3 sounded pretty fun as well...

In my opinion, people just take Arc 3 the wrong way or refuse to put down their Arc 2 glasses :)
However, everyone is entitled to their opinion.

You have to take it for what it is. A side story taking place after Arc 2 and explaining what happened to the world and how the heroes live.

I took it all into account, read quite a few reviews, there wasn't near enough negativity to prevent me from wanting it. I'll continue to hope, likely in vain, that we get more PSone support on our modern devices.

Arc III appeared to me like it would be a breath of fresh air from some doom and gloom present in the previous two. Not a bad thing at all.

Haha, I don't have Arc II glasses... I have Arc II lasik eye surgery. I'll always be an Arc II fanboy, but Arc 3 is something else. Its got so many little fun things, with the weapon crafting, monster cards, and quirky cast.

Its a very fun game, and provides a good amount of content. Well worth it if you have the means necessary to play it.

Heh, no problem :D
I just wanted to say that Arc 3 in underrated and not bad as others make it to be.

Ugh, he always acts like an idiot.
His reaction on the water orb was just too much.
