In skirmish I've seen something that resembles wut the weather machine does in ra2, some weird rapid color changing cloud that destroys everything with lightning, wut is it?

In the 4th or 5th allied mission where you send a spy to save Tanya, I learned that you can keep the spy, Tanya will break out in a matter of time. Any use of that?

And to change discs, hit The ps button it should give you thé option to change thé disc *face palm*

Chrono-vortex. These are invoked by using the Chronosphere, although they don't always appear (20% chance). Make 'em go away by 'feeding' them units, unless it's far from your base. Eventually they disappear of their own accord too.

Not really. By this point in the game you can train extra Spies anyway, and sitting around waiting for Tanya to escape while you do nothing but watch a Spy stand around isn't anyone's idea of fun.
