Map names

I'm not even sure if people check this board, but here goes....

I play this and the PC version a lot. Thing is, I know which maps I love by their number/mini map on Retaliation, but when I load up Aftermath they're named with no image. Aside from playing them, how do I figure out which is which? Is there a list somewhere?

Goddamnit, I had a list of these that I'd made myself somewhere.

Next best thing is to use RAED:

My memory of Retaliation map numbers is a bit crap right now since I haven't played it as much as the PC version in a long, long time (that, and I'm playing dozens of LAN games on PC), but "The Hills Have Eyes" on Aftermath is a very special map indeed. IIRC it's MAP42 or MAP41 on Retaliation:

Cool, thanks for the quick reply.

Even if there were just a place online to see a minimap of all the PC version maps, that would be cool. There's this massive list and I have no idea what most of them look like.

I suppose I could remake the list at some point.

Shouldn't be too hard, seeing as I keep consoles set up for weird **** like sudden testing and other such shenanigans.

That'd be cool, but I might be the one person that cares and I wouldn't want you to waste all that time for me.

At the very least, it could be the basis for an FAQ, which would actually help out others - especially given the fact that these games are on the Playstation Network now.

Indeed

I also thought long and hard about it and I think this is the game I've clocked the most hours on of all time out of every game I own. I just keep coming back to it. I could be wrong, 'cause I've spent 150 hours on certain RPGs, but I've played Red Alert games off and on for 13 years, including a recent burst right now.

I've easily clocked 150+ hours on RA skirmishes; even if one skirmish took one hour to complete on average, it's safe to say that I've battled my way through well over 150 of them.

Next to Doom, it's most definitely my most-played game of all time.

Oh, looking at it that way, me too.

I used to spend days playing with my friend. We'd take turns. I once spent hours massing Rangers and using nothing but them the whole game. Good times....

Someone else already did the hard work (sort of). How nice:
