Looks like we let the topic die again. DOH!
On a side note, I've been playing a little bit of Yuri's Revenge, and I may have stumbled onto an unusual trick in Skirmish when there's a Yuri base present.
Essentially destroy his Slave miners and up to 5 of the slaves will join your faction. Common knowledge, right? I've found that they can't be mind controlled (as they're resource gatherers initially), but when they're in a group of 10-15+, they will demolish any base that doesn't have anti-personnel defences FAST! I'm talking about 3-4 seconds per building here against a normal AI.

Same here - I never realised they hit so hard either. Usually I just use them as cannon fodder to distract base defences from other units - or stick them inside Yuri power plants. It was only when I set them onto other buildings that I actually noticed how fast the buildings were being destroyed. --- Where logic won't work - I will PAL Gamers unite - http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/277-pal-gaming
There's something strangely satisfying about napalming GLA workers. --- The noblest of all dogs is the hot dog: it feeds the hand that bites it. DOOMBEARS II - Return to the Labyrinth: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWdejK6yKiQ
I'm currently attempting to recreate certain Generals/ZH units for OpenRA.

Hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas and here's looking to 2013. Let's hope there's no other ancient calendars out there waiting to panic everyone into doomsday theories... --- Where logic won't work - I will PAL Gamers unite - http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/277-pal-gaming
