Tell No Tales isn't too tight with the time limit, but it's a very long way to go without dying or missing a time box because of something stupid. Road Crash requires you to know the roads perfectly so you can wheelie as far as possible and pick up all the time boxes |

Ski Crazed took an insane amount of time to get right, I can only imagine Hot Coco, seeing as my best time is about 50 seconds on that level.
And I do despise those racing levels. Hog Wild, holding the wheelie for 95% of the level... That was torture. O_o
Also, did anyone else find Bone Yard and Dino Might easy? I got Platinum on my very first speed shoes run of Bone Yard, and it's the only level I beat a developer time on (by .03 seconds). I even got Gold on Bone Yard without the speed shoes.
It's probably because I practiced the originial Boulders level of Crash 1 so much when I was little. I practiced it a lot. So when I needed to do this without breaking any boxes on the dino path, I found it pretty easy.
tl;dr: I think Dino levels are easy and racing and ski levels are really hard.

awesomesauce13Posted 2/29/2012 8:22:24 PM | Ski Crazed was really hard just to make it there without dying, but if you get there in one piece it's pretty much an automatic platinum so it's not too hard.
Hot Coco was worse, but looking up a better route to take on YouTube made it fairly simple. I suppose the hardest part about it is finding the best way to go, because in this case shortest distance is most certainly not the fastest time
Hog Ride was at least really short, so that was pretty easy.
And yes, I did find the Dino levels really easy. I beat the developer time on Bone Yard (one of about 6 developer times that I beat, I think) |

awesomesauce13Posted 3/2/2012 1:58:07 AM | My original save where I got all 30 platinums and beat quite a few developer times corrupted years ago, so I can't go and check how many I beat :( I got all 30 platinums again but probably only beat one or two developer times because I didn't go and replay levels over and over to improve my time.
Actually, I think I posted a topic about developer times once, I'll see if I can find it... |
