Hello everyone. This is my first post at this forum.
The reason I came here was because this forum was the first result on Google from the search: ff8 "lunar crash site"
I've spent far too much time searching for the Lunar Crash Site, in order to gain the Alexander card to use fot the Queen of Cards / Card Queen side quest. I should probably mention that I'm not new or intermediate in the world of FF8, I'd rather say "advanced", since I've completed it at least once every two years since it's release. Well, that wasn't really what I wanted to discuss.
My point was, that I've never bothered with the QoC quest, since it - on the paper - seemed to me to be too time-consuming and/or frustrating, compared to the benefits. But running through the game this time, the QoC quest was the only part of the game I hadn't explored, so....
And one should think that someone else had already uploaded a screenshot of this location (which someone most likely has, I just couldn't find it), so now I'm doing it.
I've never done the Queen of Cards side quest. All you have to do is go to the Lunar Crash Site on Disc 4 and she will be there. Challenge her to a card game and you can win all the cards that would otherwise take you a while to get through the quest.

Yeah, I know those things. But it's good to have the info in the thread as well, so no harm done. The screenshot is intended for those who might also use Google in an attempt to locate Piet on Disc3 like myself.
The Lunar Crash Site is (using bare memory here) southeast of Esthar. If you go to Esthar, you'll notice a fence around the entire city. There's a small inlet penetrating the fence and going out towards the sea. The fence will be around Esthar and this little tetra will be off to the southeast. Put on Enc-None and run around the lower half (closer to the sea) until you run into it. I don't have a screenshot to be crystal clear, and I don't recall ever seeing a screenshot of the location, it's all descriptions. I may could have you a screenshot up and posted, but it would take a few minutes, if you're willing to wait a little longer.
