Debating whether to just grab Haste and go, or get Slow or even Hastega.

Depends on what you want him to be. Auron's grid is probably the less recommended, for anybody. You'd better off following someone else's path (like Wakka's)

well with kimahri,i sent him down rikku's sphere grid, but for tidus i would suggest haste or slow, so then when you go down auron's path you can have agilty (because of haste) and strength ( also hp down aurons path) :)

Okay, thanks. I already sent him through the first circle of Rikku's grid to bulk him up and get Steal and Use.

Auron's path has inferior HP and Str boosts than Wakka's path, if those stats are your concern, send Kimahri to Wakka's SG, not Auron's (plus he'll be getting nice accuracy boosts along the way and better abilities)

Slow is worthless. So if you want Hastega grab it, if not bolt out immediately, however I'm not sure how close Hastega is to a lock that could get you anywhere near Wakka's or Auron's Sphere grids, so be prepared to backtrack alot

I usually get Steal and Use, activate those HP nodes that are clumped together near Rikku's starting position, and then go through Wakka's or Auron's path.
