Instead of the usually stoic main characters from most of the previous FFs, they made him emotional and easily excitable. I thought he was kinda funny on my first playthrough of the game, but after my seventh+, he does get pretty annoying. |

Pen3lopePosted 4/11/2012 6:57:03 PM | I completely disagree. Tidus, for me, was one of the best main characters of FF. He's much more realistic than the previous heroes, as he expressed almost all feelings that I, as a player of the game, experienced, both in words as in expressions. For example: his numerous questions to Lulu when getting to learn about Spira, the optimistic feeling when you think you understand everything about the pilmigrage (but end up not doing so at all), the hate-love feeling 'bout his dad and him wanting to go back to Zanarkand, and the list goes on.. I think his character is one of the reasons the story of FFX became so great. To me, the sad part of the ending of FFX was not about Yuna getting left behind, rather it seemed like a part of me died as I identified myself with Tidus as the main character, so well. |
