17MasterPosted 12/4/2012 10:19:10 AM | If you use Lulu to any useful extent at all, get the Booster Cactuar. IIRC he also carries the Survivor for Rikku, which has Alchemy. That is pretty useful when used with the wtf amount of Al Bhed Potions you should have by now.
His stuff is more expensive than about anything you've seen up to this point, but that's because it's some of the best stuff available up to this point.

Lulu's is nice for obvious reasons, 50% more magic damage. And its nice to have Al Bhed potions give 2000 HP to each character instead of 1000 thanks to Rikku's Alchemy ability. Not to mention if you have Rikku use pheonix downs they will revive the character back to full health instead of 50%.
I think Wantz's weapons from Gagazet are nice to have until you get celestials or begin customizing better ones. |
falconesquePosted 12/5/2012 9:16:55 AM | Definitely make sure to have holy water on hand. Wantz also offers a couple zombie ward items. Helpful with the boss immediately ahead (and the dome beyond).
Anymore I skip acquiring Yojimbo in favor of Wantz's goods, but i'm generally well or overleveled by then. Gauge accordingly. FWIW, last time I picked up Booster Cactuar (it is very nice indeed) but Kimahri had Use and Alchemy gear, so I didn't bother with Rikku's armor.
