Not_Shoryus_AltPosted 6/18/2012 1:10:18 AM | Alright, so I'm about to sell my copy of the game and I can confirm that it as at least version 1.1 by the label and the content(red blood, chanting, etc) but I have no N64 to check debug mode now to be sure this isn't one of those rare misprinted 1.0s. I may consider borrowing my friend's N64 just to be 100% sure on everything.
Hypothetically, how valuable could a grey 1.0 be? Wouldn't it be worth more than a gold cart, since it's rarer? I have no idea.
And while we are on the subject, what about 1.1's themselves? Some say these are considered semi-rare and more valuable(than 1.2 etc) because they are more desirable than later versions.
I don't think this will turn out to be a 1.0, no, that's just hopeful thinking, lol. :3 --- See my quote. |

Basically, if it says "NUS-CZLE-USA" you're in for some disappointment.
You might be in for disappointment anyway. I don't really think any version of OoT fetches a whole lot. I think 1.0 gray is the rarest but I'm not sure those are even considered collector's items. |
Not_Shoryus_Alt (Topic Creator) Posted 6/19/2012 8:13:00 PM (edited) | ^^ That's the very site I used to determine which version I have.
I had a chance to use my friend's N64 to check the debug screen.
The label says "NUS-CZLE-USA" which is usually 1.1
but the debug screen says "98-10-21 04:56:31" which is 1.0. http://i48.tinypic.com/12677k8.jpg
So I guess I have a grey 1.0 here? The debug screens themselves are kind of weird though. Especially the "Oh! My god!!" and "I love you" things. I'll look for some screenshots to make sure this is how it should look. If anyone already has some or any extra info though, that would be helpful.
I'll also try out some of those 1.0-only glitches to be 100% certain. :D
Edit: Checked some screenshots and vids and it seems that's how things are supposed to look. Weee. --- See my quote. |
