Any difference between the white label and black label versions?

You're probably a racist if you buy the white label one

Well, at the risk of sounding racist the white label version is worth more money but from a game play standpoint the games discs are exactly the same.

"White Label?"

Uh? Japan release of "Playstation the Best book" or whatever? As the only labels are "black/green" for the US (and EU, IIRC)

^Soo are you trying to say that the white label versions that people are trying to sell on ebay are illegal copies?

^ I think he meant that the other labels of the game are Japanese and Euro kind instead. Just make sure you get the right kind for whatever system you use.

You need to find a version that's labeled as "NTSC". Any worthwhile seller will list his game as "NTSC" or not so just look in the description.

Black/Green label with NTSC-U designation.

White labels are Japan "The Best" (IIRC) and not in the EU/US.
