I know it's a really good game and i've noticed that people sell it a a very high price on some websites. Ia there a special reason?

really? try Ebay, I know that Amazon has some ultra-rediculous prices (like over 100% for conker's BFD)

Buying the game itself is cheaper than buying a wii and then getting this game off the virtual console

Expensive? Most eBay copies range from 20-25 dollars. I bought mine for about that much.

The original retail price for N64 games was about $60. Remember that.

Well, I got mine for 40 and it's expensive when comparing to other N64 games that are normally relatively cheap.

Um. Yes?

it's expensive when comparing to other N64 games that are normally relatively cheap.

What other games, exactly? Because maybe these other games you see aren't as good or popular as this.

Some comparisons to recent n64 purchases I've made:

-Mischief Makers is a game that's cheap right now. It's pretty decent, but it's not very well known, so the price is low. You can get it for maybe 7 bucks off eBay.

-Conker's Bad Fur Day. About 30-40 on eBay. It's popular but apparently didn't sell well in stores, and few people are willing to give up their copies.

-Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon. Now here's an anomaly... The game is good, yes, but it can't be that well known. Maybe it's rare. I don't know... But I had to spend 26 dollars to get it.

-Mario Kart 64. About 12. Popular, well-known, but outclassed by MKDS in my opinion. A pretty average price.

-Banjo-Kazooie. 8 dollars. I thought this would be a bit more, maybe I got a good deal? Some of the others I see go for about 12-15, same as MK64...

-Zelda: Oot: About 20. Considering how popular it is, of course it sells for a high price. It's popularity is also why the price doesn't go higher, as it's really easy to find...

-The average price for all these games together plus the 25 for PM is 17.

-Local game stores in my area that sell used N64 games list each of these games for 20-50 dollars depending on popularity of the game.
