I'm on Natla's Mines done the 3 fuses now I need to kill the guy with my Magnums(easy enough) and then(try to) jump across and grab the ledge.
My problem is after missing the ledge and hitting the slope she's either facing the wrong way*Wise beyond her years*(wait, wrong game) or when I try to drop down into the "shimmy crack" she just doesn't grab it(I've been having this problem all game, only pulled it off once)
And after I fail I'm back in the 1st area and have to kill the guy all over again
Finally completed the game, I've never seen so much trial and error BS. I'm glad I have to play TR3 on an emulator(Don't have an original copy and my PS1 is kaput) --- Parasite Eve(Blind) Episode 06 - Day 5(pt2) - http://youtu.be/LBSRVjP0IVA Parasite Eve(Blind) Episode 07 - Day 5(pt3) - http://youtu.be/aj5kyYAQVf8
Congrats! As much as I love this game I have to admit that it must take a great deal of patience for people who are playing it for the first time now. I think it was just easier to accept the steep learning/mastery curve for the controls since most other games at the time (pre-analog) had their own unique--often quirky--control schemes and nowadays it's all analog and is more or less intuitive from the start. As is evidenced from past threads on this board, most people never make it past that part of it.
Just to warn you, TR3 is legendary for being brutally hard, even without accounting for the limited saves. The difficulty is a pretty natural progression from 1-3 though if you play them all one after the other. --- Do unto others what your parents did to you.
