Ytterbium_70Posted 4/14/2012 7:00:52 PM | I'm in Earthshaker's boat; DMC3 was a lucky spot for me, but I knew it wasn't 1 and 2 was irrelevant.
Though I didn't notice that I got 9th place. Yaaay? --- WTH Duke; just, WTH |
AdvokaiserPosted 4/14/2012 8:16:28 PM | I felt this month was particularly the hardest one yet. --- SuperNiceDog waggs his tail better than your regular, standard dog. |
Ed BellisPosted 4/14/2012 8:20:03 PM | I can't believe I did this well, geez. I guess it's good that I knew some of the relatively obscure ones.

zxzxiPosted 4/14/2012 10:28:50 PM (edited) | I didn't enter this time, because I only knew 3 of them (Ninja Gaiden, Pokemon Stadium, and Paper Mario), and it was also a really busy week for me school-wise.
#2 sounded so familiar, but I couldn't tell why. I now know why. I played Link's Awakening A LOT as a kid, but it's been so long I couldn't remember the music.
#24 sounds familiar to me. I'm going to do some digging and see if I can find it. --- My alternate username is: BrownYoshi |
RingoBellPosted 4/14/2012 10:39:40 PM (edited) | Same as always: I got the few I've played, and had absolutely no clue on most. However, this time, I did pick up a few that I hadn't played: for Guitar Hero III, I recognized the song (Devil Went Down to Georgia) and Googled it. For Goldeneye, I thought it sounded remotely familiar (I have played it with friends, but not often and a long time ago), it sounded like it was from a shooter, and the era sounded about right. The other two I got were Link's Awakening and Golden Sun, which I recognized immediately upon hearing them. I was pretty sure #16 sounded like a Final Fantasy game (similar to FFVII, actually), but I knew it was too modern to be any that I've played. I thought something sounded familiar about #24, but again it was far too modern to be what I thought it was. I considered that it might be a remake, but I couldn't find one. --- Ya know, one of these days I'm gonna think of something to put here... |
AlwaysInADreamPosted 4/14/2012 10:44:06 PM | Paper freaking Mario. I knew I recognized 11. --- i think we can both agree that it would be reckless to look at a crappy shipping diagram made by an alien, and ignore its message altogether. |
The Mana SwordPosted 4/14/2012 10:55:45 PM | argh 6th --- I'm no longer a Nadal supporter. Andy Murray is my new favorite player/person. -Princess Anri |
MrL1193Posted 4/14/2012 11:17:35 PM | Oh hey, I actually got a couple that were worth more than 1 point (Ninja Gaiden and Super C). Too bad the only other one I knew was Paper Mario...but I guess I couldn't expect to do much more without some actual research. --- Knowledge is power, and ignorance is bliss. Unfortunately, most people won't settle for one; they usually end up with neither. |
The_Mighty_KELPPosted 4/15/2012 12:21:45 AM (edited) | Okay, what the heck? Mario Paint is in here? I'd hardly call the little minigames in there remotely related to battles OR bosses.
Oh, can I get my results please? --- Jogurt attacks! Inflicts 1 point of damage on the Goblin. Goblin is defeated! Jogurt gains experience. ...it appears that Jogurt's level has increased to 1. |

I'd hardly call the little minigames in there remotely related to battles OR bosses. Oh, there was definitely a battle mode. Flyswatter vs. flies. Also, 9 points, 32nd place. Also, I'll bold this so it stands out: ff6man has correctly guessed #21 from this month as being Homeworld. 15 points, woo! --- GamingSymmetry.com: a multi-author critical gaming site Latest Series: The Challenges of Game Reviewing |
