No, my point was that through eras, throughout cultures, in some cases, it's not hard to see that some music is better than other music. That's not the *only* criteria, but it's an example making clear that there are facets one can take into consideration before holding on to sole individual subjectivity as the only possible stance one can take in this subject. Current mass popularity has not too much to do with it (even though popularity, of course, doesn't necessarily exclude the universal appeal through ages either).
