Question about a "cross buy" title

Bought playstation all stars, and I plan on writing a review for the Vita version. I was wondering if I could use the bulk of the Vita review for the ps3 version as well since they are largely the same title.

In the ps3 version I would probably put a "ps3 difference" paragraph to describe the differences. Anybody ever do anything similar to this?

With me I know I had done a review of a game like NASCAR Thunder 2002 - NASCAR Thunder 2004, with a PlayStation as well as PlayStation2 version. I can't remember for sure if I mentioned about differences between the two versions or not. Not sure if this is the kind of answer you're looking for.

Basically, it's 2 copies of the same game. They're just on different platforms. I'm going to write the review for the Vita version, but I just wanted to make sure there isn't some unwritten (or written) gamefaqs rule where you can't use the same review for the same games, but on different platforms.

I would think if the other differs some from the other I don't see why doing a review for both. If they're the same practically, then not sure if that'd be a good idea. For example Mortal Kombat the PS3 version has a extra character in the game so maybe I could see with a game like that. Sorry if I don't seem to be much help, since my review writing and what not is the best, since I seem to know more about writing guides more.

There actually does tend to be a rule about that. If there wasn't, you'd find cross-posting much more common.

I'm not an official source, of course, but in my experience, while you're safe using some sections in both, the majority of the reviews need to be different.
