Why is Netflix removing an abundant amount of anime on April?

Do they have a grudge against anime or what?

Yep. This is how America once was.

I was rather disappointed about this when I found out last night. It means I've now got 9 days to watch the entirety of both seasons of Honey and Clover. Still, I should manage that (just about).

That's why I kept the DVD portion instead of the streaming, cause I knew there is still a TON of stuff they have on DVD that I have yet to watch.

Look at the bright side... they'll probably add a lot to replace those anime they're losing.

I hope so...
Well, only thing they're losing that I really care about is Darker Than Black, and if I can't finish it I'll just watch it on Funimation's site. They better get some more good stuff.

I mainly see this with FUNi titles. Basically they give stream sites/services streaming rights for the dubs for a while, then it expires. Sometimes they renew it after a while, other times not. (usually with newer titles they don't get renewed quickly) Since Netflix is dubbed only, those are gone outright. Other places like Hulu keep the first 4 or so dubbed episode but the rest it up subbed.

I imagine this is a tactic to provide stuff for a while but make sure you DVD/BD sales are still reliable, since the dub is essentially the product FUNi is making.
