Everything I learned, I learned from the movies

Anyone watch any lately?

I saw Wolf of Wall Street a couple of days ago. Lots of t&A, swearing, and comedy. So pretty entertaining overall.

Shutter Island too since I was on a Scorcese and Leo kick. I liked it even if it was kind of ridiculous in the end.

I saw half of this Korean movie called Cold Eyes while on the flight home. It's like a crime drama starring this cute chick joining some police task force

Anchorman 2 was pretty good, though I prefer the first.

American Hustle was amazing, really great movie

Secret Life of Walter Mitty, definitely had it's problems but overall it was entertaining and a nice story.

Haven't seen any of those. I actually haven't seen the first Anchoman yet, need to do that.

I saw another Korean movie called Taste of Money. Or at least a third of it. It was pretty bad. You know how some foreign movies have english speaking Caucasian actors but they're so terrible with their acting and stilted manner of saying lines that it completely takes you out of the movie? This is one of those movies.

The local cinema industry pushed out many foreign films out for the bulk of December because they wanted to host the local film festival for the holidays. I missed out on The Hobbit :(

Saw the Hobbit and enjoyed it.

Also saw Saving Mr. Banks with my family. It was a good movie like, as a movie, but how historically inaccurate it was kind of, uh, ruined it. I was impressed they didn't try to paint Walt as a god, though.
oh hi

Saw Walter Mitty as well. Really enjoyed it. It's really sappy but so earnest in it's execution.

Yeah I need to see American hustle. Silver linings Playbook was amazing. Love Jennifer Lawrence that Louisville native can act.

Last movie I saw in theaters was thor 2 which was great.

Wolf of wall street looks good some of the trivia I have read for the movie sounds interesting. For example that movie uses the f word and its variations 506 times in the film. More then any other film except for the documentary on the word.

Can't wait to see ride along, neighbors, Batman vs Superman, amazing Spiderman 2, etc etc.
Oh. Well. Alright.

I watched "Her" yesterday. Really weird, poigant but funny movie. It was hard to take a lot of it seriously but somehow the movie is charming enough to do it.

Kristen Wiig has a pretty hot voice.

American Hustle was really good. Very well acted movie on all fronts.

Wolf of Wall Street was amazing. Absolutely hilarious and honestly, never felt like it was 3 hours.
Soft silly music is meaningful magical

I watched this movie with Andy Samberg and Rashida Jones called "Celeste and Jesse Forever". It was pretty cute but kind of by the numbers. I think the thing that saved it was the fact that I like the two of them and that they work well together.

This wasn't really a movie but I also saw "An Adventure in Time and Space". It's a docudrama about the creation of Doctor Who and William Hartnell's( the original Doctor) run on the show. It was very good and I highly recommend it even if you aren't a fan of the show. It's just a really great piece of media.
