Everything I learned, I learned from the movies

Like I said, I don't think Tobey Maguire is a great Spider-Man, but I don't think he's bad either. He certainly doesn't ruin the movie.

I like Doc Oc because I think he's a pretty good sympathetic villain in that movie. I have no inherent love for Doctor Octopus, but I generally enjoyed his portrayal in that movie.

Yeah I still really love spider-man 2. Alfred Molina as doc ock was such a great choice and the train battle is a fantastic set piece. I still love that move where spidey is kind of jetskiing with broken car doors trying to catch up with the train

Got back from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 a couple hours ago, I really liked it. Probably my favorite Spider-Man movie. I even liked it a little more than The Winter Soldier, I think. I'm honestly surprised it's getting such mediocre reviews... And that's from someone who thought the first Amazing Spider-Man was just ok.

I haven't seen Amazing 2 yet, but the old Spidey films were just fine for what they were doing. The Amazing Crane movie just gave me the wrong impression.

Just watched Her. That movie is such a beautifully sad movie. It showcases the themes of life love and discovery. Not to mention how completely foreseeable it is in the near future. Never liked Joaquin Phoenix but I must say he was fantastic in this movie.
Oh. Well. Alright.

Yup Her is really good! The ending is kind of out there though

Saw ASM 2 as well. I think people are being way too hard on the movie. I enjoyed it quite a bit. The fights were pretty awesome at least, I enjoyed every scene with Spider-Man, Harry, and Gwen. Spidey is really funny in this movie. Electro has a pretty lame origin and motivation but he was still cool to look at with his fight scenes. And they ended up going through with some stuff that I didn't think they would.

Amazing Spiderman 2 felt alot like Spiderman 3. And I didn't like how Harry was suddenly a master at piloting a glider he had never seen before. But I still liked it. Electro was so crazy powerful hard to believe spidey could conquer him.

Watched kill your darlings. So many fantas!tic actors. Didn't realize it was gonna have so much man on man love though. Didn't really feel like a movie suited for me. And one particular scene with Daniel Radcliffe was really unexpected. But I guess it was a good movie. Great music and acting. Just didn't care for the story. If I could sum it up in five words it'd be. Poetry, drugs, unrequited love, and murder.
Oh. Well. Alright.

Watched Godzilla.

Pretty badass film. Godzilla was truly a king. My only complaint was that it focused a lot on the humans but then again, the human characters were pretty okay (I like seeing Kick-ass and Walter White do their thing) and I guess that way, when Godzilla appears, he will look more impressive than ever instead of seeing him all film. Other than that, pretty well-made film and I want a plushy of the King G.
