Go OKC for a new champions year

After the Kings, Thunder.
Then in Baseball? How about the Rangers? (third time's the charm...)
And then in football? Texans.

The Giants already won the Super Bowl this year.

Giants are the 2011 NFL champions. The season just happens to bleed over into 2012.

I think TC has the idea right.

This. And before someone posts "there are new champions almost every year" I mean teams who never won a championship.
And of course, if my teams cannot win in baseball and football... then I hope Rangers and Texans wins because I feel they are the best teams right now who never won yet.

The Giants are winners of Super Bowl XLVI which took place in 2012.

The Kings and Thunder both started seasons in 2011 the same as the Giants did.

I don't know why this is so hard to figure out. Kings are the 2011-12 Stanley Cup winners. The Thunder could be the 2011-12 NBA champions. The Giants are the 2011-12 NFL Champions.

Except they won an NBA title in 1979.

No they didn't.

Note I am not being a bitter Sonics fan. It's just the truth. That was not an Oklahoma City team that won, OKC fans did not celebrate that win. That was one of the only major championships Seattle has won in almost a century, and I hate that it has to be shared with another city.
