I thought Nash was retiring after 2014 along with Kobe.

His contract lasts until 2015. That said he could possibly retire before then.

Oh my mistake then. If he does play until 2015 I would move him to SG and find a quick young pg. It would be awesome if Morris becomes a very solid starting PG by then cause that kid has got a lot of size. Doubt that'll happen.

yeah morris is garb

True but he has a lot off tools to make a very good pg, we just gotta see if he ever learns how to use them.

You don't want a 40 year old Nash starting at SG. The guy can barely stop point guards and he would be posted up by the likes of Wade

Lebron and Bosh can opt out and enter FA in 2014. I think it's a bit of a longshot but the possibility is still there.

Well in the case of the Heat he wouldn't be guarding Wade, their pg would which is why I said I hope Morris improve because he's a big fella for the pg position. Whoever the Lakers PG is would guard the SG if the SG is a better player than the team's PG.

I haven't seen many Clippers game before Billups got injured, but I'd imagine it be a similar type of role. Billups is too old to guard quick PG and elite SG but the Clippers were clearly better with him.

His contract ends in 2014 but he'll be a restricted free agent, and you can guarantee the Cavs will match any offer that he gets.

He has a team option and the Cavs aren't going to let him walk

This may be a little much but I'd be ok with:

Nash or a PG like Lowry that they can probably get for cheap
either an all star SG or SF. One getting the max and the other being a repetitively well known player that isn't worth the max
Gasol on a smaller contract
Howard

its doable and it would be crazy
The max Dwight can get is about 21 mil
Nash will be making about 9 mil

that would leave us with about 30 mil to spend on free agents which could get us another max player and someone really decent to play alongside Dwight if he decides to stay.

No matter what happens 2014 is going to be fun.

Why would Bron leave a good team to join a worse one?
