I think so. They're younger, hungrier, and the ceiling for the Nuggets right now is so much higher than the Knicks

Jazz should have won the Derron Williams trade in a similar fashion.

Nuggets have no superstars, which means they can't win-it-all. In fact, only one team has ever won it all without any true stars...the 2004 Pistons.

I think the Nuggets might just have what it takes to be the next 04 Pistons.

They can beat ANY team if they have home court, and for the teams that they won't have home court against, all they gotta do is find a way to get 1 game on the road. They are NOT going to lose at home all that often.

Technically, the Knicks were the ones who got a lot better after getting Melo. They were a .500 or sub .500 team in the year before Melo arrived. The Nuggets are a better team now, but they were always a mid level seed with him during his later years with them.

Playoff games come down to defense and superstars
Who's gonna draw the fouls for the Nuggets? Who gets respect from the refs? Who will make the late game shots when they need them?

Also by the time you get to the end of this sentence you will realise it is just my signature.

The only good thing the Nuggets got from the trade is Gallo. He is not nearly as good as Melo and he's going to be a FA at the end of this year.

Gallinari is locked up through 2015-2016, what are you talking about?

James Harden for Kevin Martin and a bunch of late lottery picks.
True Story.
