The DeSean Jackson of RB's. Dude literally got extended 2 years ago and already wants a new contract.

I wonder what he thinks his leverage is. is it that he has like one year left..? Maybe its that the Seahawks have a stud prospect waiting in the wings..?

hmm

Looks like I'll be taking a late round fantasy flier on Christine Michael this year

Well first he has 2 years left, and really he holds all the leverage here. Turbin has been awful his career thus far, a paltry 3.9 ypc, and Michael hasn't shown anything as of yet, and if he was a baller, he would have seen the field last year. He could get better, but it's doubtful he'll somehow jump from a RB who couldn't see the field and was almost always a healthy scratch to workhorse in the span of a single off season.

In short, Seattle needs Lynch much more than Lynch needs Seattle. At least right now, today.

And now I can laugh at Seahawk fans who said Lynch was content

Let him hold out. He's a 28 year old, aggressive running style HB as is. He was probably going to be a cap casualty next year anyway, but if he wants to press the issue, I'd rather cut him now if he doesn't get his act together through training camp. Might as well try Turbin/Michael a year early in the worst case scenario.
