Anything like Dueling Network, but for Magic?

#1IceDragon77Posted 10/2/2011 6:11:52 PM
My friends and I play a lot of Duel Network when we want to play Yugioh, so we don't have to spend money on real cards.

Is there something like this but for Magic?

I'm just hearing about cockatrice for the first time - I assume, like MWS, it has no rules implementation built in?

Or, I guess I should ask more broadly, what are the differences between Cockatrice and MWS?

I'd like to know as well. Ive heard people say it's better than MWS, but I'm reluctant to switch, since I'm so familiar with MWS and it works just fine for me.

I've been to the cockatrice site and from what I can see, the only advantage it has is that the team is still working on it.

If you want rules implementation, there's jMagic (I think that's what it's called).

Cockatrice's current major advantages are an automatic updater and image downloader, and multiplayer/spectator support.
