i'd ask if you could recall any character details, but BB has alternate color palettes :x

Hmm, don't think that was it. Pretty sure it had to be a US trailer if it was playing in walmart though.

Weird. Makes sense though since topics started getting archived some time ago. Why they were hidden in the first place confused me.

I-is SBAllen paying attention to social boards more?

Nah, I only use my twitter for following game-related people and some other guys on the side.

And for making responses to stupid people when I need to.

Not thrilled.

Still need to register myself even though registration opened up like a week ago here. Getting lazy.

Not sure if I should do a summer class or not. I need to get 3 done and I've only done one so far. I'll probably take a BS easy math course since I need to get one more done anyways.

Personally I'd put food puns: the movie higher than that but I guess I could see why you'd put it at 5/10 (assuming you're using the normal score scale where 5 is average and not the stupid one where 5 is considered bad).

No way in hell is Fantastic Mr. Fox a 1/10 movie. No f***ing way.

Not sure how I'd do actual ratings but I'll add that HTTYD and the Kung Fu Panda movies are among Dreamworks' best stuff alongside the first two Shrek movies.

I'm really struggling to understand where this huge critical acclaim for Frozen has come from. I can't find a negative review that fully fleshes out why it isn't good.

There are few positive things to say about the film. Kristen Bell had a good performance, as expected. The animation was quite good. I enjoyed the proof of concept character Kristoff who didn't really end up doing anything and is borderline superfluous.
That's where things fall apart. The characters are one dimensional and have trouble convincing us that their actions are decided upon by anything other than the scriptwriter trying to finish this thing. The villain is revealed far too late into the film despite being obvious the second they arrive because out of the two young males, he's the one without a comic relief reindeer.
We are forced to suffer an unfunny, ugly designed comic relief snowman who reminds us of the unwanted mascot character in every jrpg since 2005.
The driving force of the movie is a superpower that is never explained and similarly its conclusion is a hand waved "magic did it". We are never shown an emotional growth of our characters, we are simply told that "they are all better now."
The film indeed feels mostly pointless. There's no real message. There was no thrilling plot point to keep us engrossed. I feel like I cared about as much as the guys who rushed it out to earn a paycheck.
The film seemingly exists because they had one decent song and needed a music video package to sell it. This can be seen by the way that all of the other songs commit the cardinal sin of children's animated musicals. They are composed entirely of telling us some exposition over a jaunty tune. At least we don't have to suffer them for very long as they are all stuffed into the first third of the film anyway.
Really though, the biggest slap in the face is that this is the movie they gave us when they adapted the Hans Christian Andersen classic, "The Snow Queen".
Imagine what a great movie we could have had if they'd finally have given us the one evil queen that could genuinely rival Maleficent. The female protagonist saving the dude is also more indicative of the girl power motif that Frozen cack-handedly tries to deliver us.

I really thought Tangled had set Disney back on track to making classics like they used to. However, Frozen is just another overhyped mess that doesn't really have any purpose or long-lasting values. Massive disappointment.

I agree that the last third of the movie was rushed and Olaf added nothing, but you're being overly critical of some things and glossing over what they did do right. Such as having two strong female leads and pulling that off much better than Pixar did with Brave.

Cloudy was average in every way. I see no reason to rewatch it.

Fantastic Mr Fox was designed to appeal to hipsters. I hated it. It wasn't funny, the art style was ugly, and the dialog was much too self indulgent.

They didn't though. One is only strong because of a superpower and the other one goes gooey for the first dude she meets and spends the rest of the movie relying on a reindeer.
