I went from becoming ambivalent to Brazil to outright hating them. Dirty f***ers.

Steady, England won't last the month!

Lmao. So true.

Also, Ramar, what are your thoughts on today's transfer news?

I was gutted. Cesc is a c*** for going there, but if we didn't go in for him then we better have good plans this summer.

Seeing as Her Majesty's Colony of Canada is not at the World Cup who are you supporting?
---
Good old Arsenal. We're proud to say that name.
While we sing this song. We'll win the game.

I just got home from buying tons of alcohol. It's gonna be a rough few weeks between the Heat losing, and USA and Ecuador likely not advancing. But those two teams don't have high expectations anyway, so it is still nice to have the World Cup around so we have some quality football to watch.

Yeah lots of Arsenal fans are giving him s*** when it's not really his fault.

Ingerland as usual, but they'll never make it past the quarter finals, as usual. Otherwise idk, maybe Germany, Belgium, Uruguay? Pretty neutral this time around. Going to be rooting against Spain throughout though.

It was glorious. Spain got an undeserved penalty and then Netherlands went beast mode. Great crosses, amazing finishing, dispossessing Spain when they had the ball, stifling them when they wanted to counter attack. Also helped that Casillas was utter crap.

I mean I read the live commentary (which sounds as terse as the military telegrams from the 19 th century), but it seems like Robben and Van Persie double teamed the ever loving s*** out of Spain but I was expecting some shenanigans. Glad to hear that it was a legit victory.

Netherland's crossing was just amazing. Van Persie's goal was probably one of the best I've seen in my life. Robben's goals were beautiful too. Also Torres missed an absolute sitter, which was great to watch.
