Comics and Graphic Novels

I've always been interested in the character but in the few dc stories I've read he wasn't very involved or involved at all.

The story is really good (best Hawkman) but if you don't have a local con I guess that's the only way to go.

It's the best Hawkman story out there, in my opinion, but be aware that the Hawkman in it is completely different from the Hawkman of the current DCU, as well as the one that will be appearing come September.

So if you want to get to know the character for purposes of future reading, Hawkworld really isn't the place to start. If, however, you just want to read a great story featuring a Hawkman, then you definitely can't go wrong. It's more than worth the $6.
