Comics and Graphic Novels

I'm actually jealous of Marvel. I want a Justice League movie so bad now.

I don't expect to ever see a JLA or Wonder Woman live-action movie. They've been talking about both for 30 years now, with production always slated to start 2 years in the future. I admit, I thought the same with Spider-man, but that wait was something like 12 years.

WB isn't the only one to blame for Green Lantern. Geoff Johns had a lot of input.

Yeah, I'm all for JLA going the Wu Tang route. Hit em with that great group effort before using the individual members to keep them interested and excited until the next group offering.

Also, while cool, that movie poster brings to light something interesting: The open collar look on Superman DOES really look dated now. I wasn't sold on the collars, but now that I'm looking at the lack again...

Nate.
I guess the moral of the story is... ladies, don't marry a superhero.

I can only see WB populating the movie with a bunch of D-List superheroes that nobody outside of comic book fans would recognize.

Like they did with the Justice League live action pilot they released in the 90s.

I'm liking the Batman/Superman movie then doing a full JL movie. The former would kick things off and get viewers used to the Batman/Superman actors and then the JL film would hopefully reel in all of its viewers plus new viewers.

I believe the "Marvel formula" is still the preferred way to do things if their characters were all on the same level of popularity as Marvel's (preferred way for them anyway, much more money to made that way) but doing just a JL film and maybe going the solo route with each character could maybe work too if the JL film is well received as is its characters and actors. I just hope if they do a JL the guy that's playing Superman in Man of Steel is in it, even if it is a separate continuity, as I'd like to see at least one familiar face since we aren't getting Bale back. I wonder if they did get Bale if it would increase interest in the film and maybe give it a boost, especially if they tried to confuse people into thinking it was connected to the Nolan Batman films to garner more fans? Bale has claimed he's done with the role but I'm sure money talks louder than Bale's words...
