Marvel's digital comics redeem codes

I don't really have a need for them, and they seem to be popping up regularly now.
Anybody wanna use 'em?

Currently, I have codes for Amazing Spider-Man #688 and #689 available.

Sure, if you're just giving them away, I'll take them. You can PM me the codes (unless you decide to give them to someone else, which is fine, too).

I wish Marvel did what DC did, and charge the extra dollar for a combo pack, including the code, rather than just stuffing download codes in all their $4 books and using it as justification for the higher price point.

I'd rather have them as $3 books without the code, thanks.

Where do these codes come from? I'm trying to get caught up on ASM, and I need issues 676 up to the current issue, but it looks like most of the issues between there are still $3-4, which seeMs a little expensive, since they've been out for at least a few months.

Marvel's been putting free digital codes on all their $3.99 books since the Spring. I wish I could tell you the exact date.

However, codes expire in one week from the on-sale date. So stuff like AvX 1 won't work anymore.

They expire a year after. I remember getting one comic a month late and the code still works. It does say xx/xx/13. They added most of their books like around last month only a few titles started in spring like Avenging Spider-Man, Avengers vs. X-Men, Avengers Assemble, etc.

I noticed this on my last few Iron Man comics. Seriously if they wanted to be cool about it and possibly gain a customer, then why did they give me a useless code for the exact book I just bought/ read? Came off as really lame to me.

Thanks again for the codes, TC.

Just out of curiosity, is anyone very familiar with both Marvel's digital comic system, and that of Comixology? I started reading some stuff through Marvel's app/ online store, then I found Comixology, and contacted them to have them sync my account so I could have everything on my Comixology account (rather than having an app for Marvel and an app for DC).

I didn't realize this worked both ways, though; going back to my Marvel account now, I see I have access to all the Marvel stuff I bought in Comixology. After adding these two issues from these codes, though, they don't show up on my Comixology account. Will they eventually be available to download via Comixology (i.e., does it take a little while for the accounts to "sync"?), or do I have to contact Comixology again to have them "resync" my account so I can have these two issues in Comixology?

You probably just have to wait a little bit. I had marvel and Comixology sync my account and all the codes for comics I have entered since then have shown up in the Comixology app but not right away. Also you do have to go find the title on Comixology and download it if you are using the Android/Iphone app cause they don't show up in the my comics tab until you have downloaded them.
