Differences between EE and Blu ray EE editions?

So what are they? I just own the regular EE editions not the Blu Ray EE editions yet.

But according to IMDB, the Bluray EE editions have a longer run time than the normal EE versions. Apparently at least according to them Fellowship has 20 more mins of stuff in the Blu ray EE than the regular EE.

So what stuff did they add in for the Blu ray EE editions?

Nothing. It's the exact same film.

I am confused cuz according to IMBD page of Fellowship:

If ya look down at the Technical specs of that page its says:

178 min | 208 min (special extended edition) | 228 min (Special Extended Blu-Ray Edition)

So clearly according to them the runtime is longer on the Blu ray EE by at least 20 mins from the normal EE edition

So where does the extra 20 mins come from if both EE's are the same then? I don't get that.

Well... considering they already fleeced me for the DVD and EE:DVD editions I suppose it isn't a surprise I'm going to have to shell out for the Blu-Ray versions.

Oh well. =)

I honestly don't remember a single scene that was new to me when I watched the Bluray version.

Also, the Extended Edition Digital Copy that came with the Blu-ray box set, is only 3hours 28minutes long, not 3hours 48minutes. No added footage there.

Someone posted not long ago that Wikipedia claimed the blu-ray had longer (but different) running times, too.

Don't forget that both Wikipedia and IMDb can be edited by anyone. I don't know what's up with the claims of longer running times, but there are NO new scenes or footage added. If there were, it would have been advertised and marketed as such, not to mention the news would have spread like crazy once they were released.

The extra run time is due to longer credits. Supposedly back before the films were released there was a club where you paid and were included in fan credits which were included in the blu ray EE.
