They're pooping out another one of these?

Discuss.

Seems like it's going to be good. They fixed most of what was wrong with XIII. Even dropped almost the entire cast of the first game to "secondary" status.

FFXIII-2 has also addressed the biggest complaint about FFXIII: linearity.

According to Square Enix, FFXIII-2 is apparently the most open-ended and non-linear of all the main numbered FF games.

I'm pretty interested because I loved FFXIII.

They removed a lot from the game to accomodate the 2-disc capacity of the 360. Plus doing like FPS developers do, it's easier, quicker, and cheaper to re-use game codes, components, and engines to make a "new" game than it is to develop one entirely from scratch

So never mind FF13 being a flop after it's initial week sales, since so much is re-used as well as using the stuff pulled from FF13, the game doesn't have to sell as many copies to turn a profit

To be fair, it wouldn't take much for XIII-2 to be the most open-ended FF.

I'm looking forward to the game.

...I'm not even certain what the point of 3storms post was. It reads like it was answering a question that no one asked. <_<;

I think the point was to mostly trash the game. Seems like that was the intent of the TC anyway.
