Ways to connect the Batman trilogy and Green Lanternto Man of Steel and beyond.

#1VideogamegalaxyPosted 8/17/2013 7:49:25 PM
Part 1
1. The first half of Batman Begins.
2. Destruction of Krypton.
3. Second half of Batman Begins.
4. Kal-El is sent to Earth and discovered by Jonathon and Martha Kent.
5. Clark Kent grows up on Earth.

Link between Batman Begins and the first half of Man of Steel: After Batman glides away at the end of BB, we see a view of Earth from space as a capsule enters Earth's atmosphere.

Part 2
6. Green Lantern
7. Grown up Clark Kent discovering Jor-El's leftover message, and donning costume for the first time.
8. The Dark Knight

Link between Green Lantern and Man of Steel: Hal Jordan flies through Space near Earth, and spots a capsule entering Earth's atmosphere.

Link between The Dark Knight and Green Lantern: As Batman rides away on his bike into the night at the end of TDK, the camera quickly pans up and shows a faint, green aura spread through the sky.

Part 3
9. The climax of Man of Steel, Superman defeats Zod, Clark Kent becomes accepted by humanity as their hero.
10. The Dark Knight Rises
11. Batman is saved by Superman, Bruce Wayne retires as Batman (for now).

Link between The Dark Knight Rises and Man of Steel: After Batman crashes the Bat-Wing into the ocean to destroy the bomb, the sihloutte of a human figure with a cape is seen flying into the crash site, and than flying out of it carrying another figure, all in a matter of seconds.

Part 4: World's Finest and formation of the Justice League.
12. Superman/Batman
To be continued in 2015.

I feel this is the best way to connect pre-MoS movies and still make sense in a subtle way.

Let the Nolan series die already. It's not connected to anything.

the nolan triolgy should NOT be conected to man of steel. we need a whole new, more comic-ish batman

also im not sure how you would be able to connect green lantern as in both movies it is the 1st alien contact ever

I choose to believe the Nolan-verse is in-continuity with Superman Returns (which was their original intention before SR underperformed) and that DKRises just takes place during the period of time Superman was in space.

DKRises takes place in an alternate universe where Joker died at the end of TDK. What was supposed to happen was something that nobody even knows about.

Technically The Kents' discovery of Ka-El is the first alien contact, but the rest of the world's population does not know about it yet. Kale-El lands on Earth before Green Lantern takes place

Green Lantern takes place before Zod and his forces and Superman are revealed to the rest of the world's population, making that the first well-known alien contact.

Green Lantern won't be connected to Man of Steel or any DC shared movie universe. The Dark Knight trilogy probably won't be, but if Christian Bale really does reprise his role as Batman, then they're going to have too. It would be way too confusing for the audience if they don't.
