Both have made arguably some of the best movies of all time. One may make animated films but he's still a highly regarded director. Who do you pick?

Fun fact: Kurosawa loved My Neighbor Totoro and put it on his list of 100 favorite movies.

Kurosawa is the better overall director but I enjoyed Miyazaki's movie more. Among those 2 directors I probably have 7 movies made by them that I would rate 10/10 and more than 10 movies I'd rate 9/10. They are that great.

I didn't vote because to me they're like apples and oranges. I can't see any real basis to compare them by. Both are absolutely top notch at doing completely different kinds of movies.
Brunch: It's not quite breakfast, it's not quite lunch, but it comes with a slice of cantaloupe at the end.
