Mine is The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Why because it has great music a good story and a great cast. Second would be Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory. 3rd place goes to Rock of Ages.

Singin' in the Rain

Not only do I think it is the best musical of all time, it is in my opinion one of the greatest films of all time. Do I need more of a reason?

Blues Brothers

Terrific cast and musical guests.

The scenes with Ray Charles crack me up every time.

I really liked Rocky Horror, it's such an eclectic movie and it's so much fun especially how it embraces all the weirdness. It's also always fun to see in midnight theater showings.

Why? Because every song is amazing.

Willy Wonka, easily. Great soundtrack, a great sense of wonder, invention, and humor, and an iconic performance from Gene Wilder. Right behind Oz as the greatest family film ever.

You're going to like the way you look.

Either West Side Story or Seven Brides For Seven Brothers.

Blues Brothers, if that fits the bill. No explanation needed.

If we're with the more traditional, stricter definition of what a musical is, i'd have to go with Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. It's hilarious and the songs are catchy

I also dug Sweeny Todd
