Why is TNA and Jeff Jarrett so backwards?

doesn't compute.

Wyatt Family is horror movie southern creepy. Definitely not like TNA at all.

Baseball is considered southern? I always felt it was more northeastern/midwestern.

In terms of culture, as a midwest guy I can say that there aren't many cares for baseball unless you live in a big market city (like Chicago). Actually I think Hockey is starting to become a bigger deal than baseball actually.

Makes sense. Basball is tied for most boring thing you can watch on TV.

A wrestlers gimmick isn't the same as what type of fans a company is targeting. I am not agreeing with TC, but this does nothing to refute his claims.

Could you really say TNA has a Southern feel to it? A Southern feel would be like the Memphis territory or Bill Watt's territory. They had a more "realistic" and less "sports entertainment" approach to pro wrestling. TNA is just trying to be WWE light, which is far from southern style.

Plus, TNA has Vince Russo, who isn't exactly a big fan of southern things, besides being friends with Jeff Jarrett.

I live in Detroit, so that could be a part of it. Tigers are pretty big. (although we do love the Wings here too). I don't know any specific stats, was just surprised!

Well I mean early on when Jarrett was still with the company. Always hiring southern stars to make a guest appearance and no one from the North. It was always Southern Baseball players or Southern bands, or Southern Nascar drivers. The only mainstream type of people I've seen come through TNA was Chris Rock and the Jersey Shore guys.

Baseball isn't a southern thing. Look where teams are concentrated

Southern Baseball players no one knows. It's not the team, but the players themselves.
